What is Seismic Learning?

Seismic Learning (formerly Lessonly, acquired by Seismic in August 2021) is training software with an ecosystem of partners, strategy and services that are aligned under the mantra of Do Better Work.

The vendor has worked with over 800 companies to help them train their teams. The vendor says they've learned that the highest performing organizations build their training on the same six pillars:

  • Assess (Gather Needs & Inputs) Listen to people, data, and the market; identify successes and challenges; and accurately assess your sales team's training needs.
  • Plan (Prioritize for Impact) Identify the most essential objectives and outcomes, and intentionally set milestones for creation and delivery.
  • Build (Create Quickly & Collaboratively) Work with teammates at the front lines of the business to develop and iterate on bite-sized training/content.
  • Learn (Meet Learners Where They Are) Push training content to teammates-- anywhere, anytime-- so they can quickly solve problems in their moment of need.
  • Practice (Rehearse, Refine, Repeat) Reinforce skills and information with realistic practice scenarios and receive feedback to fuel improvement.
  • Perform (Doing Better Work) Empower the organization to continuously improve, deliver and quantify results.

Seismic Learning ultimately aims to help organizations to achieve faster onboarding, higher NPS score, more closed deals and a superior customer experience.

They are always willing to help and give insights on Lessons I make. They send quarterly updates on the number of hours we have used or have left for their service. They are prompt with their replies and always keep us informed when there is movement on their side or if they have announcements.

Lessonly treats you like you're part of the family from day 1. Their attention to detail, from the marketing team to their CS team, is unparalleled. They have built product features and functionality based on use cases I've had, and are always willing to listen to what can be added or improved. The CS team is wonderful at challenging me, which I love. Whenever I ask for something, they always ask me why I need it. They then either show me how to do it, show me a workaround if what I need isn't available, and/or connect me with their product team to talk through what could be possible. Their Services team is amazing at transferring your existing training content into the Lessonly platform and converting it into coherent lessons and paths. Everyone I've worked with at Lessonly has been an absolute pleasure.

We have gotten to know our Lessonly support representative very well. We have a dedicated content manager who will meet with our rep frequently over video calls. We have also been able to meet in person for smaller workshops with other Lessonly users. Anytime we experience an issue or have a question, we can easily chat in through Lessonly.

The Lessonly customer support team is super easy to get a hold of because of the chat feature. In my opinion the chat feature is superb because not everyone has time to dedicate to a phone call. The great thing about their chat as well, if you are away from the chat too long, it will email you their response and you can respond back to the email.
