Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

To support Lifesize you would need at least one fairly technical user to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise with Lifesize support. You can then have an office admin type person assist in setting up conference calls as that end is not technical in nature. Day to day support is strait forward and we use office admin staff in remote office to assist in setting up conference calls. The touch screen display is similar to using an iPhone or Android

Our college is using Lifesize as the primary delivery of dual credit distance education classes with area high schools. Even our most technophobic instructors are using the software client and the hardware with ease. One of our faculty members is using the Lifesize PC desktop client to have virtual office hours for summer classes. This allows the faculty member, and students, to not have to come in to campus to talk together. Our academic technology department is using the desktop client to do quick recordings for on-line courses. The ease of use and great flexibility makes using this product a joy!

All members of IT are responsible for providing support for the systems, but it only requires basic technical knowledge. It's not a difficult system to support or maintain. User creation and client installations are very straightforward.

We use our in house Help Desk staff to manage the users and the actual video conference units. They range from a junior tech to a senior infrastructure engineer. Since we are a smaller firm we need everyone to be able to assist when needed. Basic skills are all that is needed to support the users.

Basic knowledge is needed, as the solution is very user friendly. Also, it is almost maintenance free as the devices auto update. Sometimes there is auto reboot, so they are self maintained devices. We have had these working since 2014 and we continue to add more devices to our network once in a while.

It is super easy to maintain this solution since it is really plug'n play. A standard DSI with a minimum of IT knowledge is enough. A plus is to have some knowledge in SIP, WebRTC communication protocols, eventually anything linked to SSO (we use OneLogin with Lifesize to authanticate and it is working well).

I maintain all LifeSize systems for my company - now in 15 locations. I can effectively manage them remotely from my location. This makes managing the equipment a breeze and doesn't require me to be onsite to amend the system settings.

We don't really need a lot of help to support it- once its up and running even our finance team can use it without any help! Getting started was so simple we found that even the non-technical members of our team were comfortable with it very quickly, and they are able to use it all the time on their own.

Standard users can support LIfesize video conferencing. It was very easy to train other users on how to use Lifesize from multiple products, conference room, cell phone, laptops, Surface II, ipads. I have trained many different types of employees. All board members on phone and Surface II, CEO President, Market President St. Paul, MN, Market President LaCrosse, Wi. WI., HR manager, VP Business Banker MN, WI., Operations department and a lot of others in the organization.

The video system does not require a lot of maintenance. The only issues seem to result in network issues with audio and video quality. Depending on how things are setup, I have experienced audio dropping. Skills needed to work on the system are understanding of network traffic and troubleshooting quality issues with the system.

No particular skills are necessary besides basic troubleshooting skills. Most Issues we experience are from people disconnecting the cabling from the unit and not knowing how to reconnect them properly or not connecting them back at all. Occasionally we experience Internet Connectivity issues with the units, but this is not from any fault of the system.
