We used LinkedIn Jobs in our office for sourcing the right candidates, positing the job, and job application so it's very helpful to improve our carrier and our office growth also. It's very helpful for time management and to get a perfect job offer from tier 1 companies so it's scope for employees.

Pros

If anyone looking for a job the LinkedIn Jobs are good platform to find the companies.
If anyone mentioned opentowork we can communicate them for our work
We can post the our job requirements.

Cons

The first thing LinkedIn Jobs are used for unemplyees or job looking candidates.
If we request to someone for a job requirements, if they accept only we can communicate them or else we couldn't not reach them.
Mostly the LinkedIn Jobs are good platform

Definately I would prefer and recommend to my colleagues and my friends because they should know the LinkedIn Jobs are very important for jobs and carrier growth. That is good platform to sourcing the quality candidate, resume, to apply for job application, and posting the requirements...there is too much of good thing in LinkedIn Jobs so I should recommend to colleagues.

We have used LinkedIn Jobs in our organization. it will help to find the right candidates and we can directly connect them and we can directly communicate with them through messages but only if they accept our request. It will reduce our work time and If anyone has not uploaded there resume on CEIPAL ATS so we can find out here.

Pros

The LinkedIn Jobs is good platform to find the right jobs easily.
It's an easy way to figure out the good companies.
It's an easy access to apply the jobs and we can get a direct notification also for job opening so we reach them easily

Cons

If we receive notification of job openings, we can directly apply for these roles to gain knowledge and skills that match the ratings of those openings.
We add the skills through jobs if that match or not.
It will be more helpful to apply the job openings, and we can reach out them directly who post the job to gain all information from them.

Personally I loved the LinkedIn Jobs actually in my current job I found through LinkedIn Jobs even my career also improved so I would definitely refer to my colleague.

I use LinkedIn Jobs to recruit for my hard to fill positions. The positions I utilize this for are positions with a very specific skillset and qualifications. This particular engine doesn't generate a lot of candidates, but the right candidates. I don't have to worry as much to receive an influx of unqualified candidates.

I used LinkedIn Jobs recently for a director position. I sent the instructions to another Director to also post on her LinkedIn. While this is not where we found our candidate, it was a great tactic to bring attention to the posted position. The form used allowed us to detail the position to its full extent.

Our organization utilizes LinkedIn jobs for the purpose of recruiting for specialty and professional positions. It allows us to connect with candidates of all levels of experience and possibly organizations we can pair with for ongoing recruitment efforts. Typically, we use LinkedIn Jobs as a secondary sourcing outlet, but it has been useful for filling specialty positions and advertising hard-to-fill jobs and events.

Diversity and inclusion
Removing candidate personal information, only provides the essentials for job qualifications.

I feel LinkedIn Jobs is less appropriate for diverse and inclusive recruitment due to the amount of personal information that is shared with anyone seeking candidates. Instead of solely matching with qualifications, anyone is able to view the full profile.

LinkedIn has several functions within its tool, but Jobs is certainly one of the most complete and efficient. Its structure is well detailed, organized, and easy to use, having a beautiful and functional design. It becomes very useful in our company because it makes it easier for both the candidate and the company to choose, it filters in a simple and organized way the best profiles for the ideal vacancies and also has a good selection process within the system.

Companies that look for specific profiles and aim at agility in the hiring process. I was hired using LinkedIn Jobs and there are a lot of opportunities for you to search. Sometimes, when I want to inquire, I [could] connect easily to a recruiter or manager for me to follow up. There [are] a lot of challenges in looking for a fit position that qualifies your eligibility, but LinkedIn Jobs helped me revise my profile for potential employers [to] check and review my qualifications based on my applications submitted to them.

I don't have any problem with LinkedIn jobs. It is useful to find new jobs and new employees. I like the fact of the filter method of LinkedIn jobs. It is easy to find anyone from particular places. Overall it is really a good product for HR management and companies.

Pros

- LinkedIn allows us to have an online personal brand that makes us visible worldwide.

Cons

- The big disadvantage of LinkedIn is lack of content, and LinkedIn groups are not really useful

I use LinkedIn Jobs to post ads. Although I am a “sourcer” and proactively seek out job candidates, this often leads me to passive candidates who aren’t open to new opportunities. Posting an ad on LinkedIn Jobs can be more efficient and increase time from first contact to a hire because anyone who applies is seeking a position.

Pros

Customizable screening questions - they somewhat recently improved this!! Custom questions used to not be an option but now that it is, it’s definitely a step up.
Helps automate the process - can send auto-rejection email if I choose. I like to notify candidates that I did receive their application and am not just ignoring it.
Tends to offer high-quality candidates. If not a fit for the job they applied for, sometimes we have a different position for them.

Cons

When adding skills under the job description, they are limited. Sometimes a skill that seems basic to me is not an option and you may only enter skills which appear on their drop down list.
Limited screening questions with awkward wording… but they fixed this! Custom questions are now an option
I’m not so sure that the advertising selects accurate candidates. LinkedIn tries to target your audience based on the “skills” section but what a candidates lists as their skills may not be the best picture of them.

Likelihood to Recommend

LinkedIn Jobs is well-suited for some job positions over others. At our company, we do both temp-to-perm and direct hires. I’ve had luck with direct hires for positions such as sales reps, RNs, landscape architects. My colleagues working temp to perm have had less luck with their jobs such as MAs and front desk.

LinkedIn Jobs is like the "Who's who" of job searches. My experience with it from a user searching for a job opportunity has been a great experience because the platform allows me to not only understand what the role of a job opportunity is (this is common on most platforms) but Jobs, it feels like you already put your best foot forward because it's not just a resume the recruiter is looking at but rather your professional social media profile. Yes, you can apply for a position and not hear back, but having the InMail options access to others within the company through the connections is a great tool to help get your resume in front of the right people.

I can't think of any reason why anybody looking for a job opportunity would not be involved with LinkedIn Jobs. It's one of the more active social media job sites and if you are active on LinkedIn (which you should be) you have a great opportunity to show your achievements and talent to job posters. The "Easy Apply" link, although great for companies hiring large groups of people may not be for somebody who is looking for a specialized role as that would take a more personal approach.

I use LinkedIn Jobs in three ways. The first is to find new employees/team members. The second is to find jobs in the field and reach out to those companies for advertisement slots on a podcast. The third is to find new jobs for myself. LinkedIn Jobs is my favorite app for all three methods of job search. It streamlines the process with integration with LinkedIn which makes it stand out compared to competitors.

Cons

Would be ideal to have an option for remote as the location of the position, or have it be a secondary location to the physical address of the company.
Some of the key terms are a bit generic, would be great to see main key terms and then secondary as many jobs fall under two different specialties/fields.
Repetition of the same jobs being sent out over the email digest.

Likelihood to Recommend

Best platform/app out there for job searches. Not only on the side of the job seeker but also the hiring staff. It is fantastic that both sides can view the company's page and the job seeker's page to have a quick glimpse and treat this as a live resume. Also fantastic to see who works at the company and if there are any mutual connections there.
