LinkedIn Talent is a versatile platform that caters to a wide range of recruiting needs. Users, including the recruiting department, business and technical teams, and individual hiring managers, utilize LinkedIn Talent to find top talent in specific areas of expertise. The platform allows them to post open positions, source candidates, and send messages through the LinkedIn Inmail feature. With job postings on LinkedIn, they are able to attract both active and passive candidates who may not come across job postings on other platforms. The platform's easy-to-use search filters enable users to find candidates based on criteria such as current company, education, job tenure, and openness to new opportunities.

LinkedIn Talent is particularly useful for finding candidates for direct-hire roles and short-term contracts lasting 12-18 months. It helps identify active and passive candidates on LinkedIn, expanding the pool beyond traditional job boards. The response rate from candidates sourced through LinkedIn Talent is around 20%. It helps with fast-paced hiring, improves connectivity with professionals seeking new opportunities, and provides a global reach for recruiting needs. LinkedIn Talent Hub is also utilized by non-profit organizations to gain visibility without relying on expensive marketing agencies. LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for my higher position that require a certain skillset. I am almost always guaranteed to find PGY-1 or PGY-2 Residents on LinkedIn, open to new opportunities.

On the other hand, I find it hard to find some of my other positions that don't require a 4-year degree. The people with those skillsets aren't always on LinkedIn, like they are Indeed or Glassdoor.

If you need a lot of talent, and are looking for good source pool, this is a great option. Certainly LinkedIn is the defacto location of professional profiles. However, if you are on a tight budget, might not be the best option. However, easy to use, as previously mentioned, a place with an abundance of update to date professional contacts/profiles.

LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for any process that you need to hire someone. It is simple and easy to use for the entire hiring process. Almost every organization should use it if you hire people because it is popular among individuals looking for a position, so it is easy to drive relevant leads to your job postings.

LinkedIn Talent Hub is primarily suited for larger organizations as it is expensive and pricing doesn't have any differentiation as of now. So larger organizations (primarily service based) where hiring is a critical and resource intensive function will benefit the most from it. Also, it can make sense for very small organizations who don't have proper recruitment team and hiring is also taken care by the line manager.

Talent Hub is more suited for a recruiting department and smaller businesses like ours might find it less feasible. However, we have found that the software will allow us to be more efficient and that saves us time and money in the long run. Other, smaller businesses that do not do more than 5 hires a year might not find it valuable.

LinkedIn Talent Hub is great for companies that are constantly growing and bringing in new talent. If you do a lot of hiring, this is a great place to start. I would not recommend to smaller companies or those with low budgets, because it is a paid feature and only really pays off if you hire often.

I believe that LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited specifically for the times that we are living with the COVID-19 situation, where the search for professional candidates with specific skills is now more virtual than ever. In our case, candidates for remote positions can be located throughout the entire LinkedIn network based on their career/expertise instead of just location.

LinkedIn Talent Hub is well suited for anybody who wants to simplify the hiring process and make the application process easier. Almost everybody could benefit from this software if they hire people. If your team does not hire anybody at all, then you may not need this software, but otherwise it is very helpful.

LinkedIn Talent Hub is best suited for smaller companies looking for specific skill sets and willing to hire from out of state and recent graduates. It is great for marketing and getting your company brand out there especially if you are a business-to-business seller and do not have a loyal customer base who might want to apply.

It lets you post a certificate of any course that a candidate might have done. Shows the recommendation that a candidate has. Connections that the candidate has. Easy to look for people. I feel it is very suited to find a candidate. I don't think there is anything that LinkedIn Talent Hub will be less suited.

the tool itself it fine, and easy to use when it comes to the usability and the interface, however the logic itself of scanning job descriptions sometimes fails especially for positions that not common.
For most common positions that have multiple descriptions available in the database it works well and does a great job finding candidates.

If you are doing a lot of hiring in a year and you can afford to pay for one of the premium plans that allows integrations and collaborating with your hiring team. If you only need to hire a few people in a year, I would consider a different service.

When you are in the recruiting business it is a necessary tool to have. we buy annual licenses for every single users (mandatory) and pass on the license if someone leaves the company so it is convenient. Not if you are on a budget and use it for a few months but pay for the annual fee. The platform is very well done and we find every single candidate using the App.

Linkedin Talent was very well suited in helping us fill specific roles that we had trouble filling. Roles such as data scientists and senior software developers. It helped our company put our brand out there with the other tech giants. It is not too appropriate for non-IT roles. We had no trouble filling those to begin with.

During the age of COVID-19, it is extremely effective. It offers tons of information and insights on jobs, careers, and offers learning portals to those who are seeking a new career, or to advance their current role. It is a one stop solution for sourcing and managing candidates all in one place. We are able to filter from different categories to find the best candidate and we can also create and mark notes about the possible candidates in the future which saves us lot of time and energy.

I really feel like [LinkedIn Talent Hub] has great potential to be used by many many companies. I think if it is made a little more user friendly with a little more development on the back end to remove some bugs, this could be a potential game changer. I have enjoyed working and getting to know this.

I think LinkedIn Talent Hub is best suited for professional services firms such as mine where highly technical talent can be found. There are greater resources for other industries, such as construction, mining, or other similarly-situated industries.
