We use Mailchimp to run our organization's email marketing campaigns exclusively for all of our clients. It's been a great resource to make each email meet the marketing needs of our clients and the deals and information that they are trying to portray to their customers and grow their networks.
  • The best contact management platform.
  • The customizable triggers to send emails.
  • Intuitive user interface.
  • Could have more advanced automation features.
  • Emails aren't as targeted due to a lack in tagging.
  • Could use more pre-structured templates.
All we need is a marketing campaign, it's been an excellent choice. The more we have used Mailchimp the more familiar our team has been able to get with the interface and its customizable options for creating emails that are specific to all of our client's different customers and patients.

Our organization uses Mailchimp for our email marketing campaigns. We are able to provide the customer base for each client with deals and information specific to each of our clients. It helps increase website traffic and new patient and new customer interactions. It's so helpful to have an email platform that allows you to create emails that are specific to the needs of our clients.
  • Can send email to large contact lists all at once
  • Can create automated emails
  • Provides data regarding email success/responsiveness
  • A more responsive support team when issues arise
  • Analytics can be complicated
  • Webforms could use an update
Mailchimp is a great tool that offers simplicity when learning how to use and utilize its tools but also provides extensive data and tools for those wishing to get a deeper understanding of email marketing campaigns. We've been able to train some of our clients to use it and then also provide detailed data back to them when needed.

Mailchimp was used to distribute marketing emails and materials to customers. These emails contained weekly specials and photos of merchandise and sample products. Previously we had relied on print ads and signage in order to convey marketing updates and Mailchimp allowed us to reach a broader audience and see an increase in engagement.
  • Templates allow marketing to look high end.
  • Tracking engagement with the end user.
  • Storing email campaigns in order to reuse and update emails.
  • Templates can sometimes be too rigid and do not provide enough flexibility.
  • Scheduling campaigns could be more user friendly.
  • Better metrics on users that are not engaging with campaigns.
Mailchimp is a great tool that allows users with little to no experience to create marketing content that looks professional and eye-catching. Templates allow users to essentially drag and drop content while distribution lists allow users to select their target audience. Users who are more tech-savvy might find Mailchimp a little restricting but all in all, it’s a great product that serves its purpose.

We use Mailchimp for our own email marketing as well as for small business clients. It is easy to deploy, train on and use for novice clients who want to manage their own email marketing. Automation and other tools in the Mailchimp system give users high-end email marketing capabilities at a low cost.
  • Sending bulk emails.
  • Accessible to novice users.
  • Deep levels of customizability.
  • List management.
  • Deliverability management.
  • Web forms can be difficult to customize in some ways for more technical implementations.
  • Analytics could be easier to use.
Mailchimp is ideal for small to midsize businesses where your marketing staff is able to do a lot with little support. Mailchimp can’t adorably scale to an enterprise-level, but there may be things about that I have not seen just yet in my usage. As a design agency, switching between customers was made a lot better but it still needs work.

The Mailchimp e-mail platform is used to communicate to the membership, prospective membership, event attendees, and other relevant constituents. The tool integrates directly with the CRM and allows for detailed segmentation, based on demographics, interests, event attendance, and membership. The product solves the issue of having limitations to communicate effectively and promptly.
  • Segmentation.
  • E-mail template design.
  • Ease of use at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to use more than a limited number of tags for filtering.
  • Easy to add responsive video.
  • Management of unsubscribes.
Well suited to email distinct groups of people.
Good for segmenting audiences effectively.
A great feature to add custom fields and synchronize them for meaningful messaging and data merges.
Template building system that is flexible and intuitive to use.
This helps to match up the branding of any organization to send tailored messages.
The flexibility also allows the inclusion of sponsorships with ease.

We create cultural communications campaigns based on the strategy opted for by our clients. Such typically includes digital, print, and mass comms. We use Mailchimp as part of the digital reach to expand awareness, inform, and prompt audiences to engage with the project assets and goals.
  • Offers a reasonable amount of start-up templates
  • Drag & Drop features are simple and appealing
  • Allows color customization
  • Has a considerable API catalog
  • Easier "connected funnels"
  • Offer free/essentials plan for training team members with several seats
  • Move "go" buttons around so that they head on the dashboard and not in the footer
  • Add diagram "logic" to pages while creating campaigns
If a project is well-tailored with specific outreach goals and the PM has identified the audiences that are likely to engage via email then Mailchimp is a really good option. Creating a customer experience via the platform with a landing page, logical funnel, and follow-up emails is best for a beta launch. The only place I'd suggest Mailchimp not being an option is if someone is only interested in the email marketing feature. There are other platforms that offer email marketing only. It's not economical.

We use MailChimp to create, design, and write engaging, personal emails for our clients and prospects to learn more about our company and how we can help them. We also track results, such as click-through rate and open rate. It is also a great place to store email addresses and contact information.
  • Email designer
  • Email address storage
  • Tracking
  • Automations
  • Email designer
  • Organization
I think Mailchimp is best suited for smaller companies that do not have a large marketing budget. All of the basic features are there with decent functionality and even a free plan. However, it would need to implement some more powerful features and automation to compete for the business of larger organizations.

We utilize Mailchimp to send quarterly email newsletters, company updates, and create landing pages for our campaigns. Mailchimp has helped us to send appealing email newsletters to our audiences and build those audiences as well. It has been an easy software to use and implement with our website and through other integrations.
  • Mailchimp is extremely user-friendly.
  • Mailchimp provides clean templates for newsletters.
  • Mailchimp makes it easy to import new contacts.
  • In Mailchimp, you cannot integrate video to play within your newsletter.
  • With the free version, you are only allowed to create a certain number of lists for your contacts, which should be changed considering your contact limits.
Mailchimp is well suited for anyone who is looking for software that is easy to use to build out landing pages, email newsletters, marketing automation campaigns, and more. I haven't had any issues that would cause me to not recommend it for certain scenarios.

I recommend Mailchimp to my web design customers for multiple reasons. Cost, ease of use, and reliability. I have used other email services and have found none of them to be as easy to use as MailChimp. I will continue to recommend this over other services to my web design customers.
  • Manage list
  • Compliance
  • Template
  • Automatic footer completion with company name and social media.
Marketing and new product newsletters and promotions. The free plan is especially helpful for a small business to get started, and it's simple to upgrade to a larger email plan.

We use Mailchimp to collect and store email addresses from our e-commerce website. We then send out newsletters and utilize funnels to keep in touch with our customers. The product helps us to easily capture these emails, organize them, and then leverage them.
  • Building databases of contacts
  • Creating funnels for different customer segments
  • Provide analytics of customer outreach
  • Provide organization of new customers and contacts
  • More nuanced ways of breaking out customers
  • More design elements for the email templates
  • More collaborative tools for teams
We are a small retail business, and Mailchimp has certainly served its purpose for us. We use their plugin to collect emails from our e-commerce website (hosted on Shopify) and then organize these contacts into different customer segments. We then send out occasional updates and newsletters, as well as funnels related to customer actions on the website. To this point, it has been a sufficient solution for us -- but our needs are quite simple. If you're a more complex business with nuances and intricacies to your email marketing outreach, you may have other requirements. However, I can say that Mailchimp has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that has offered more than enough for our needs.

It is a useful email marketing tool that provides the best features for all types of businesses. It is easy to use and best for beginners. We used this in our company to send our users or visitors newsletters, promotional emails, etc in bulk. It helps to add contacts easily and use them in email marketing. It is the path to interact with the right people to convert into sales. Here you can create signup forms, landing pages, social posts, and many more. It helped us to track our user activity and to find with whom we should talk. With marketing automation, it minimises the time and cost as well. Integration with other tools is easy and gives a boost to sales.
  • Creating email templates according to your business requirements.
  • Track website visitors' activity and give analysis on the dashboard to understand users easily.
  • Sending bulk emails without any error in a moment.
  • Free plan for beginners with various features.
  • With free version it should provide email scheduling facilities with support team.
  • It doesn't notify to attach files while I am sending such emails without attaching files.
  • All the processes are little lengthy for new users.
I would recommend this tool as it has a free plan for beginners with a variety of features where they can learn from scratch. Here it is easy to create email templates and landing pages according to your business type. I love this as it is giving the best email delivery scores with spam protection. But while it comes to service they are a little slow in support. They take time to resolve issues.

I acted as a growth consultant for a small business that offers entertainment magic shows for young children. Our target audience was the parents. We used Facebook ads to generate leads, which we integrated with an API to Pipedrive CRM. I used Zapier to integrate MailChimp and Pipedrive to create an email marketing campaign based on the steps each lead was in the funnel. We used it on a daily basis, as every lead that got into the system was inserted into the email funnel.
  • Super easy integration to Pipedrive via Zapier, and I'm guessing it integrates seamlessly with hundreds of other CRMs.
  • Intuitive UI when designing the email templates, you don't have to be a designer to use the templates that Mailchimp provides (although using a graphic designer to create newsletters etc. is always a good idea IMO...)
  • Simple functionality when it comes to creating an email marketing funnel - no redundant complications that make your life harder when building the funnel
  • Hebrew support and RTL functionality [need] improvement. The system isn't 100% friendly to RTL emails.
I act as a solopreneur and I always use Pipedrive as my CRM where all the leads are at. If you need a simple email marketing tool that integrates seamlessly with your CRM, and you're not SUPER avid with building email marketing templates, Mailchimp is a great option. If you're using it for RTL campaigns you might need a different system, depending on how far MailChimp has come since I've used them.

We send e-mail newsletters to our members on a regular basis. We needed to automate this work as we have too many members to post manually one by one. We collected our mailing list in Mailchimp and sent emails to our members at the same time. We can see the statistics and measure our success, and we can easily prepare stylish e-mails.
  • Beautifully designed email templates
  • Statistics
  • Tips for our success
  • Sometimes emails can end up in spam.
I used it to send emails to a lot of people at once. I prepared a nice-looking e-mail in an easy way. I sent it to my registered user list. I have accessed a lot of data about the e-mails I sent. In this way, I learned what to do to achieve the best performance by trying and looking at the data.

We use this to send out our monthly outreach emails as well as follow-up emails for events. We also use Mailchimp to host some of our commonly used files.
  • File hosting
  • basic email templates
  • relatively easy to use
  • More customization for emails - 3 column layout
  • More customization for emails - button customization
  • Adding new subscribers can be frustrating, especially if there are multiple to add at once
Mailchimp is great for email marketing that is simple. It works for small businesses and both for designers and nondesigners. It has the capability to automate workflow- but I have not used it enough to comment on it.

I use Mailchimp to keep track of email subscribers, send out monthly newsletters, track analytics from campaigns, and a few other odds and ends from time to time. It has been absolutely amazing, simple to use, and a huge help in solving the problem of staying connected with my community, especially during times of social distancing and things changing at a rapid pace.
  • Save email templates you’ve created
  • Keep contact emails / groups
  • Make automated email sending easy
  • Provide suggestions for different email needs
  • Functionality of adding and moving items to an email can be difficult
  • Ability to upload personal fonts
  • Saving the template / email easier
Mailchimp has been great overall, especially against the few other email platforms I have looked through. Once you get to know it, it’s very easy to send and monitor email campaigns, segment audiences, and read reports. I can’t speak much for extremely large organizations, but it’s been working great for my small business quite well.

  • Analytics.
  • Provides you with an optimized time to send emails, based on your lists.
  • Provides many templates to choose from.
  • Some items are difficult to customize, the template only offers so many choices.

We had a very, very non-user friendly e-mail list that we used to promote sales and events to our customers, and after a series of events at our college (including Covid and a network outage), we lost the ability to use that e-mail list. I immediately turned to Mailchimp and it answered my prayers and more - it is so easy to use and takes away the majority of my stress when it comes to sending out a mass e-mail to thousands of recipients. It not only looks more professional, but it makes my life so much easier.
  • The ability to schedule out when emails go out to your audience.
  • The ability to make a simple email look professional and legitimate.
  • The various templates that are provided can help you put together an email in minutes!
  • Learning how to import contacts can be a little confusing at first.
  • I wish there were a few more options for which plan to sign up for to fit our audience size.
  • The audience dashboard could be a little clearer.
Mailchimp is great for when we want to promote a sale - it literally allows you to put in clickable blocks that take customers right to your product and you can track how many people open your email and click on them! It does not work as well for just information-based emails as text can be a little tricky to format correctly.

We use Mailchimp to do all our email marketing for weekly specials, discounts, and customer communications of events. Also, collect emails from our website and send out automatic responses to form submissions. This automation makes it easy to get direct contact with clients and collect addresses without having to manually monitor every form submission. This was easy to set up and configure and works seamlessly with our marketing efforts.
  • Automatic emails.
  • Great templates.
  • Schedule email campaigns.
  • Manage our lists.
  • Import lists.
  • Reporting.
  • Organizing campaigns.
While collecting emails from our website, we are able to give instant feedback to our prospective clients. This gives them a sense of customer service before they are customers. Since after they sign up they are added to our groups they then receive constant emails scheduled to give them more information and special deals to convert them to paying customers.

We used Mailchimp to send out our newsletters to members and non-members alike; the ease of using Mailchimp's template builder allowed us to easily adjust our content week to week.
  • Newsletter templates - whether building from scratch or editing an existing template.
  • Audience organization - adding labels, creating specific subgroups of contacts.
  • Audience addition - easy to import new emails individually or in bulk!
  • Periodically, there was trouble with ensuring delivery to inboxes.
  • Price.

MailChimp is used in my organization for direct marketing purposes. It enables us to communicate with our newsletter subscribers and send out emails to our donors. We use the segmentation function and lists in MailChimp, as well as its design capabilities, to reach different audiences and subscribers. We use MailChimp on at least a weekly basis to send out merged emails, newsletters, donor solicitations, and more.
  • List segmentation
  • Email design
  • Metrics and reporting
  • Ease of use
  • Functionality
  • Options for training/skill development for new users
  • Greater reporting availability and granularity
In my opinion, MailChimp is the best option for a smaller organization or an organization with limited staff capacity and email marketing needs. If you want a simple, easy to use, and well-designed platform to send out the occasional newsletter and email campaign. I think that MailChimp is less appropriate for a large organization, with complex needs. For example, it was difficult to link MailChimp to our CRM, and to do advanced segmentation and reporting with the results. But for basic needs, I think it is the best option out there (better than ConstantContact, etc).

I work with multiple companies with their online marketing plans. Mailchimp has been a popular choice for companies starting email marketing. I help companies decide which software to purchase as well as help them implement email campaigns and automations. Mailchimp is the software solution for email marketing. Mailchimp has multiple tiers for their plans to suit businesses' needs at their level.
  • Free plan is usually what most businesses need starting out
  • It's easy to start and understand how to use
  • Very helpful tutorials and help articles
  • There are a lot of integrations with other software that you need third-party software such as Zapier to make automations happen.
  • I have experienced Mailchimp integrations failing to work properly during crucial marketing campaign launches which resulted in the loss of revenue for my clients
  • Even though it is fairly easy to get started with Mailchimp, I believe it could be even easier for non-techy people.
I would give Mailchimp a lower score but they are very good with businesses starting out. The reason I don't score Mailchimp higher is because of the number of times that it failed for my clients over the years. When you're in the middle of an email campaign for a product launch, email delivery is critical. I have seen forms not accept information properly. I've seen automations fail. If you're looking for a more robust and reliable platform, I would look at ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit.

We have used [Mailchimp] to send out program updates. We have used it to connect with donors. We have used it to create a volunteer base. We have used [Mailchimp] to distribute our newsletter. We can use the analytical data easily. [Mailchimp] offers a way to do mailings and track mailings in diverse ways and can be used by anyone who is trained.
  • Creating Different mailing list
  • Creating Different Groups
  • Sending on a schedule
  • Easily seeing who is engaging
  • It is not overly intuative
  • It can be cumbersome in moving lists
  • It is sometimes difficult to merge split and move groups around
Mailchimp is an easy and powerful tool for marketing. You can capture data, send newsletters, create landing pages and measure your development, all in one tool. And the best is that most of it is free, which is a good start point. It is a way to make these things accessible with templates that look sleek and professional.

As an online media, sending weekly article update to fans is one of the critical marketing requirement, and through Mailchimp, Nerdynaut is able to fulfill that goal in a very automated and feature-rich way. Especially the integration of RSS feeds directly to Mailchimp makes our workload very simplified. Also, Mailchimp has a very initiative interface that could easily understand every feature with a short learning curve.
  • Automated Email Newsletter
  • RSS feed integration
  • Email subscriber list maintenance
  • Email templates
  • More integrations with CMS platforms
Mailchimp is the best email marketing solution for businesses on any scale. Especially, bloggers and online media organizations can improve their productivity of marketing workload using the automation and third-party integration features of Mailchimp. Handling subscriber registrations and sending scheduled email campaigns are a few of the Mailchimp features that cloud be highlighted in bold.

Mailchimp allows you to start a mailing list for free. It easily integrates into many things including WordPress, Woocommerce, and Divi. I can easily get people automatically added to my list. Their email creator is quite easy to use and you can make great emails quickly and them send them to your whole list or tag people and send it to specific people on your list.
  • Email Marketing.
  • Integrations.
  • Allowing people to be tagged.
  • Sometimes the email creator can be a little limited.
  • And not always easy to find things in the interface.
I have on many occasions recommended Mailchimp to my web design clients. For startups, you have to use it. It is really the only thing of its type that is free of charge and allows up to 2000 subscribers. And if you get over that many subscribers it can easily grow to your business.

Mailchimp is basically the go-to email marketing platform when you are new to email marketing and you want to play around with email automation. You can create emails and send [them] for free up to a certain number. But once you get the hang of it and determine what automation features work best for you then you can upgrade.
  • Has a free option
  • Can integrate with 90% of other softwares
  • Analytics show a decent amount of features so you can see how to strategize your campaigns.
  • They have upgraded how to “design emails” but once you start one way you cannot easily convert another way. So I’m used to using the old method for design and so I wanted to try the new method to design the emails but I had to recreate the design and add the images. I think it would have been easier to switch back and forth if that was an option.
  • The free version doesn’t allow for robust analytics. So if you want more information to view you must upgrade.
  • The upgraded versions are limited to the [number of] email contacts you can have. Once you have built your list vastly you will want to consider switching platforms.
I would highly recommend MailChimp for a newbie or one who is starting their email marketing experience. This allows for them to experience a little bit of automation time-saving experience so they can work on other things. This platform can also integrate with just about any other software cause it’s been around longer than new ones.
