I would say that Mailchimp is good for beginner businesses trying to get started with their email marketing campaigns and customer list. But I would say it's temporary until they find a better solution that will fit their needs. I would do research into more robust and reliable platforms such as ConvertKit and ActiveCampaign. It's important to find a solution that will integrate with the software that you use for your business. Mailchimp has to rely on third-party software integrators such as Zapier to make automations work. But the more moving parts the harder it is to be reliable.

Mailchimp offers a complete marketing solution that an online media organization ever needs. The automation features provided by Mailchimp can not be seen on its competitors. The integration of Mailchimp with popular CMS platforms like WordPress is very easy and stable than other email marketing solutions that I have used before.

I think for those just starting Mailchimp is much better as it is free. Constant Contact is a bit better due to their editor and some of their other features. I really only use Mailchimp though as I haven't had a list over 2000 that I have needed it for.

ConvertKit vs MailChimp ConvertKit Offers free trial———-MailChimp offers free option ConvertKit Allows more than 100k contacts —————-MailChimp allows less than 100k convert kits landing pages are better than Mailchimps as far as the design. the editor inside of the convert kit was harder to use than mail chimp. Mail chimp is the number one go-to email marketing platform for beginners. Convert kit is more for artists and creative persons trying to grow an email list. If I had to pay for something I would pay $30 a month for ConvertKit. But that is because I take design as a priority over the content.

Mailchimp offers a lot of customizations and automation in a simple form that is available in larger, more expensive platforms. The email builder is probably the best in Mailchimp out of the other platforms because of the ability to easily customize the templates and also code them so that front-end users can utilize customized options on custom templates without having to go into the code. The pre-provided Mailchimp templates are also beautiful, optimized for mobile in most platforms, and have a lot of module options. However, the database segmentation capabilities in Mailchimp can be very clunky and hard to manage, and if it's not set up to use a master audience and the right segments or groups, then the likelihood of duplicates existing in the system, and you getting charged extra for the duplicates, is high. Also, the location of settings within the tool is not intuitive.

The Amazon product was too complex. We had simple needs and wanted a simple solution. The Amazon product might be far superior but that does not matter if one has simple requirements. With Mailchimp, we were able to do 100% of what we needed to do. We did it quickly and simply and got the job done with good results.

I have used Constant Contact which was good and the emails that were sent out were about the same quality, but Mailchimp seems a little more user-friendly on the creator side. The campaigns and templates are easy to create and the site is clean and user-friendly.

Mailchimp stacks up well against its competitors, including Constant Contact. Comparatively, Mailchimp's user interface is easier to learn, especially for new users. Mailchimp offers better reporting features, both for email reporting and contact management. Both products lack in customer service, and you should expect very slow response times if you are not a premium customer.

I have never in my life used another automated electronic mail service that is a competitor to the company known as Mailchimp. Because of this, I do not have a competitor to compare Mailchimp with. Mailchimp is largely known as the go-to company for services that they provide.

I used MailKitchen earlier, but my experience was very bad with it. That was not at all a user-friendly software. The email bounce rate was very high in that software. After that, I signed up in Mailchimp and I was amazed to see its user interface. It's very easy to understand and it has all the features to create a good email campaign.

Mailchimp has all the features you'll need for the most part in its free version. The advantage HubSpot has is just its connectivity with its CRM and other tools. Constant Contact is outdated and antiquated, in my opinion. Even if you have to get more space in Mailchimp for emails or contacts, it's still cheaper than the others.

ActiveCampaign is easier and more powerful than Mailchimp, but also way more expensive. There's a certain point in business where you might need something like ActiveCampaign, but some businesses could make it perfectly by using Mailchimp only. Overall, Mailchimp is slightly simpler in structure and it has fewer features available, but a lot of the features are present at about half the price.

We selected Mailchimp against other alternatives for its non-technical workflow and cheaper pricing suitable for small and medium businesses. Also, it offers a ready-made landing page, signup forms, and email templates suitable for any type of business.

I started on Mailchimp and then branched out on trials to other products (Apollo and Outfunnel). Since Mailchimp is reserved for our marketing department, the addition of Outfunnel has come in handy (simply because it integrates inside of our CRM). Apollo was a wonderful product in theory, but, in practice, it wound up being a nightmare. In my opinion, Apollo became one of those platforms where they promise you all these bells and whistles but haven't worked out the kinks, leading to headache after headache. Outfunnel is basic in comparison to Mailchimp, the statistical reports are flat and the ability to A/B test is non-existent.

We use Mailchimp for campaigns and efforts primarily focused on email and email deliverability because it does that exceptionally well. For our overall use, we use a different CRM that has more tools and capabilities, even though its email performance is not as strong.

Mailchimp was easier for the team to learn without extensive use and training, and we felt like we could get everything we needed in a very easy way, from scheduling and design to segmenting, etc. Overall, our Mailchimp emails look custom and match our branding very well - others didn't offer this level for a reasonable cost.

Mailchimp offered many of the same features as the other email products; however, the price and ability to scale for similar quality results are why we chose Mailchimp. The other applications would be more suitable if the other CRM components were needed. However, Mailchimp allowed us to offer a dedicated marketing platform for any resource (internal or external) to manage without access to other customers, products, or business information.

I've used other email services to send out mass cold emails, but nothing except Mailchimp when it comes to an email newsletter to our current audience of stakeholders. I'd recommend that most companies that are interested give the free version a try and if it works well for your organization, then upgrade when needed to the larger audience capacity and elevated features.

Mailchimp was usually already in place and needed to be set up for growth. In general, I found that the lack of phone support at the lower tiers and the rigidness for opt-in rules made working with it long term not that easy.

I would still recommend Mailchimp to most people starting out. It's easy to use and set up and doesn't require a lot of extra support to get started. Other than ActiveCampaign or Keap, which are for larger lists and more complicated, Mailchimp is a good choice. If you have any design or technical skills, I would recommend some of the others though, mainly ConvertKit.

Mailchimp is easier to use but ActiveCampaign has CRM features and automation features that far outstrip Mailchimp, but it's another level of difficulty to learn compared to how easy Mailchimp is. Mailchimp holds it on against it though because of how easy it is to set up and execute a send out.

We only ever looked at Mailchimp. We're an Atlanta-based company, and since they are from Atlanta, only around 3-4 miles from our office, we only looked at them. We started with a very small customer base, and they have allowed us to move up with them with our increased volume. I think it's [an] extremely valuable service that we will continue to use. I am not sure about their future, considering they were just bought by another company.
