Mailchimp is a great email marketing platform and very easy to use. It is intuitive and easy to quickly understand, and good for teams or organizations where members may not be particularly tech-savvy. It may be less well suited in situations where an organization needs more capability and integration with other services or platforms.

For me, in e-learning online courses, this works well with any online toll such as Thinkific. I was afraid it wouldn't work, and with the help of Thinkific, I was able to get MailChimp working with my courses.

[Mailchimp] is well suited for a team where you have limited tech/html resources to manually setup every mail. It is also suited well for organization where you send multiple mails daily or where the marketing team is very lean, as in 1-2 member teams, where improving work efficiency through tools is super important

Mailchimp is great if you send simple newsletter emails, marketing updates, or want to capture leads. It’s got a high threshold of users you can market to before having to pay for the service as well.

However, if you’re looking for a robust email platform for B2C e-commerce, there are better options out there. This platform is limited in its triggers and workflows, and [wasn't] built to collect data in a way that quantifies dollars attributed to emails.

Mailchimp is perfect for a smaller organization with limited staff and resources available for dedicated marketing. It's been great with just 1-2 staff members managing all aspects of campaign execution. We can easily create a newsletter or campaign email and schedule social posts to be delivered at the same time. We can resend emails to individuals that didn't open the email, or for example, to those that haven't registered for an event we are promoting yet. There are a few features for e-commerce that we don't use as a nonprofit organization, but I can't think of any situation where it wouldn't be an appropriate solution to business needs, unless your CRM features a similar communication platform.

If email marketing is something you're just starting out, Mailchimp is going to be the most user-friendly in my opinion but it also has the capacity to scale with your growth. It may be years before you grow out of its capabilities, but not likely--considering Mailchimp's tools are at the top of their game.

Mailchimp does a lot for you, despite taking some time to figure it out and all it's multiple functionalities. It's a great tool that should benefit communications with customers and keeping you top-of-mind. It is definitely not as easy as firing off an email to your group of contacts from Outlook, but your return is so much greater.

Mailchimp is a great tool for anyone who's looking for an email software that provides great inbox delivery. Their email deliverability is one of the best in the industry. It is also well suited for someone who's getting started with email marketing. Because it comes 'forever free' if you have less than 2,000 contacts and you intend to send less than 10,000 emails it's a great tool to get your feet wet.

Mailchimp is great for sophisticated marketing campaigns where you are advertising a product or service and it's obvious that it is marketing content. It is not great for creating automations that need to feel more personal.

Mailchimp is great for small businesses and organizations to connect with their clients through beautiful emails. It makes designing emails easy for people with little to no background in design. We love the stats and information we get from the campaigns we've used; we can see specific information about our people and how they're reading/clicking links in emails. Definitely helpful to track who is doing what.

There aren't any fancy email marketing automation triggers like some of the more robust software packages offer you; however, if you're a small shop running on Shopify and need something fast -- Mailchimp could work. There's a free trial or limited version you can use to see if it fits your operational needs.

For users who need to start their first steps in the email marketing, Mailchimp is my recommendation, and later, when their email list become bigger, it's easy to upgrade to the next monthly plan. It's good that at any moment you can pause the paid plan and activate it again when you are ready and have something to send to your audience.

Mailchimp (free version) is most suitable for independent freelance type of businesses as well as smaller businesses that have less than 2,000 subscribers on their mailing list. One does not need to be tech savvy as there is a nice drag and drop interface to build emails, though there is certainly the option to write your email in HTML code if one chooses.

Mailchimp is best suited for SMB businesses just getting started in eCommerce, companies with small lists and simple email strategies (ie monthly newsletters). Mailchimp starts to get expensive and loose functionality at large list sizes and complex lead gen campaigns, requiring solutions like Zapier (added expense) to combine use with other platforms.

Depends on what you want in your email tool. Small websites, shops who want to get into mail marketing and try out multiple aspects of it. Then go for it! The setup is easy, it's free to x subs and you can play around with automation, responders, editors etc.

If you are going bigger and want to make more complex automations, more detailed reports and already have a big list of subs, then there are better options for you. On the other hand many of the bigger tools have a free option or a trial option. So if you are starting just go and play with it. Hint: make a short list with functions you REALLY want and some that are optional.

If someone needs to send mass emails and guarantee deliverability, Mailchimp is an easy solution for that. If you have purchased lists from external sources, don't consider Mailchimp. They pride themselves on deliverability and won't let their servers get spammed by bad emails. Also they have easy to use drag and drop builders.

If you want to easily manage contact and email subscribers in one place Mailchimp comes highly recommended. It's very simply to create specific mailing lists and edit existing subscriber lists manually or automatically. Due to it's simplicity anyone in the office is able to (with very little instruction) create survey's, request feedback, or provide responses and results to those that need it. With a simple UI and visually pleasing layout it's fantastic to work with.

For clients just starting their email marketing journey, I recommend Mailchimp. I haven't used it for more advanced clients or clients with larger lists. It's great for newsletter distribution and easy email design. I haven't used their visual workflow builder/automation, but glad to see they finally built that.

Mailchimp is [the] best software to do email marketing as it gives us a feature to create our own content with inbuilt templates which is easy to use with the drag and drop facility. We can create content and publish it in a very short span of time. Anyone can use it as it is easy to use and manage. No coding skills [are] required to generate landing pages and getting data from different sources.

Mailchimp is a good tool for sending personalized emails to all of your mailing list subscribers in just a few clicks. It is easy to design, and for beginners the preset templates are quite helpful. It is fairly simple to study and make good use of the analytical tools integrated with Mailchimp.

Mailchimp is a great platform for businesses and solopreneurs. It is easy to set up and start using quickly. I especially like the design templates they have so you can build your newsletters without HTML experience. It may not be a good option for businesses that have large audiences as it can be quite pricey as you increase your audience size.

Mailchimp is ideal for businesses that want an easy to use, free and quick to set up software, in order to mass communicate with their users or clients. It's also ideal to integrate with your website for visitors who want to sign up to your newsletter, since virtually every CMS has an integration with Mailchimp.

It might not be ideal to run NPS surveys or do advanced email marketing automations.

Mailchimp is great, especially if you are new to email marketing. It is very user-friendly, and their templates are very easy to use. Even if you are very experienced and have coding experience, Mailchimp is still a great tool because you can custom code your emails in there to look however you want.

Mailchimp’s learning center and reporting is very robust, and the product is well known for its high sending reputation and deliverability rates. The product just works. Although customer service may not be available 24/7, it isn’t often that you’ll have an issue that you need to reach out to them for.

If you are looking for in-depth segmentation, more advanced native forms, or just an overall more advanced email service provider, Mailchimp may not be for you. However, if your email marketing strategy is more basic, and you are simply looking to do the standard sends, some drip campaigns, and perhaps a welcome journey, Mailchimp is well suited to that and will provide you with robust reporting on how your sends are performing.
