Reviews
(1-23 of 23)- Creating beautiful, effective email campaigns
- Tracking stats and engagement
- Creating amazing landing pages super easily
- Customer service is TOPS and always available 'round the clock
- The only thing I'd like to see more of is Woocommerce integrations/automations, such as Abandon Cart sequences.
MailerLite was a great choice
- Create automations
- Create landing pages
- Campaigns analytics
- Sometimes the text gets messed up while I'm writing the body of an email. The font and size change all of a sudden.
MailerLite makes it easy to send newsletters and to create landing pages and forms. Well prices, well worth a look!
- Easy and intuitive to build and send EDMs
- Simple, hassle-free website construction
- Responsive and helpful customer service
- The photo editing feature could be better, such as allowing switching between landscape and portrait orientations, and more sizing/cropping templates
Our biggest problem in communications is that we serve multiple subcategories within the music industry, and each of these are managed as singular businesses within our larger org chart. MailerLite is invaluable in that regard; we can serve each of these singular businesses within our org and their customers and also our fans at large.
- Customer Service!!
- Easy drag and drop editor (really clean design)
- Help us send messaging while maintaining good email standards
- Automations and Triggers
- Form HTML output could be cleaner and shorter
- Form design could be more editable
- Landing pages could deploy through proxy to appear as our domain
Also if mobile is super important for you, then you'll be able to hide sections on mobile but you can't change how they are stacked on mobile.
MailerLite support team came to my rescue!
- Creates landing pages
- Sends automated emails
- Sends email campaigns to my email list
- I have definitely had difficulties, both in the past and currently, with the Stripe integration withing MailerLite - getting it to work properly.
- Easy to build emails
- Provides a platform to sell digital downloads like ebooks - that then sends a link to the purchaser to download their preferred format.
- It would be awesome if Mailer Lite or Stripe could store the ebook files on site instead of then needing to be stored elsewhere, like an author's website/story0rigin/Bookfunnel.
- Integration
- Reporting
- Landing pages
- Email marketing
- Customer service
- More granular logic for automations
- Automations that don't kick-out a subscriber because the send date has past
Poor website builder capability & technical support

- Landing Page
- Popups
Mailerlite delivers world-class value before you even pay. Worth the value and the premium upgrade!
Rating: overall A+
- Automation is unlimited even if you're in the free tier.
- You can have as much as 1,000 subscribers before upgrading with at least 12,000 generous free emails which rolls over monthly.
- There's always their quick email support. To think I don't pay a single cent using their service yet, they have given so much value back to me already.
- Detailed overview of reports with easy downloads of comparative analysis
- Subscriber preferences (unsubscribe is per group only, people can't customize how often they want to receive emails etc.)
Not sure if they'll be suited for high transaction emails (e-commerce).
- Free automations for any funnel you can think of.
- Regular campaigns, A/B testing campaigns
- You can easily create landing pages with its drag-and-drop editor.
- Perhaps the creation of Workflows needs tutorials for those who are just starting out.
Great software, Easy to Use, Especially Creatives
- drip marketing
- visual interface for the whole email segment/series
- easy to read reports
- learning resources
- nothing to fix
- I love this website
- can't wait to grow and upgrade to paid services
MailerLite will make you want to develop newsletter campaigns
- User Interface.
- Customer service.
- Workflow management.
- The workflows are pretty easy to manage, but the groups/segments can be a little confusing.
- The use of affiliate links is clear as mud (I mostly blame the big retailer who shall remain anonymous for this).
- Certain integrations with my website are a little clunky.
- Would like to be able to integrate with my FB page, but apparently don't have enough followers. Kind of a bummer.
- Would love to have a LinkChecker feature to check that my newsletter links aren't broken without having to check links manually.
Solid email marketing tool that I'll keep using for years
- Send out automated emails
- Email broadcasting to our entire email list
- Creating good looking emails that get delivered
- Could use extra automation options (for experts)
- Extra landing pages are always welcome
- Automation
- Assignment to Groups (We can set up 'rules' on each form, to use entries in various fields, to automatically have each person added to a group).
- Customer Service! Two or three times I've needed assistance and they are amazing to work with.
- Guide Search: Sometimes the right instructions are terminology challenges. A terminology introduction would be helpful, and search settings default to the specific content entered for the search. (Maybe this is a Titles and Content setting)
- Dates on Dashboard Notifications: When something is new or updated it has been difficult to find out when the change happened. Important because changes may mean we need to do something. Example: The feature 'Authentication' of Domain launched and we needed to authenticate the website (although verification had already been completed). We THINK it caused bouncing because once we updated the bounced emails were resubscribed and sent. TIP: Several started on the same day 2021 September 4th, but, we don't have dates on notifications so we are not sure that is why it happened.
Wonderful: Instead of troubleshooting, I can do what I'm good at =)
- E-mail management and integration with Wordpress: elegant, customizable e-mail designs and easy integration.
- Landing pages: easily put together and doing the job beautifully.
- Customer support is ACE.
- Integration with WooCommerce: easily managed and very handy.
- I'd like the possibility to have a non-repeating background in landing pages.
Keep your email marketing light and easy with MailerLite
- Landing Pages
- Email Campaigns
- Customer Service
- Their own community creation & treatment
- Some key functions are named different to other platforms
Great Service for Authors and Other Creatives
- Landing pages
- Author centered content
- Support 24/7
- I'd love a mobile app to craft campaigns on the go.
- Direct integration with Canva would be amazing.
MailerLite is a solid Mailchimp competitor
- List management
- Scheduled sends
- Easy to use templates
- Onboarding was difficult when setting up a non-paid account to try it out.
The product is very focused on adding subscribers, which makes sense since their subscription plans are based on subscribers emailed each month.
A must-have marketing tool for small businesses
We have been able to use Mailerlite tools to promote our digital freebies, online events such as seminars and webinars as well as launching new courses. It is one of our favorite go-to automation tools to help delivery email marketing campaigns, schedule newsletter releases as well as drip 5-10 day online challenge.
- What MailerLite does really well is providing small businesses on small budgets the opportunity to create attractive and easy peasy landing pages without breaking the bank.
- MailerLite over the last year has really stepped up its game by integrating with popular third-party tools to help small businesses work smarter by creating automated systems and processes.
- Their online educational webinars and training videos have improved tremendously in helping to educate small business owners on how to use email marketing more effectively.
- Although they have started working with popular third-party tools there is major room for improvement. Due to them not being on the list of integrated tools for some very well known CRM's it has been difficult to fully use MailerLite for all our online email management systems.
- They have a great selection of landing page templates that work well for new business start-ups but unfortunately they have yet to be added to in the two years since I switched over. This is an area I hope they plan to improve, whether it be only available on pro plans, it's just time to add to that library.
- The other major part I hope Mailerlite can improve is the option to upload and store PDF's and videos instead of having to link to outside sources.
A+ Design Capabilities, Easy to use, Export Newsletter as PDF
1) To send bi-monthly newsletters to our mailing list
2) To send bi-monthly in-house newsletters to the rest of the team
3) To create sharable pdf brochures showcasing our past/current projects. These "brochures" light and the images are clickable linking to the projects on our websites, this way when sent to clients/potential clients on WhatsApp they can know more about us without having to go to our website.
- It's easy to create newsletters that look good both on desktop, tablets and on mobile.
- This might not be a big reason for most people, but I love their design capabilities and how easy it to create sections within a newsletter, I also like how some templates allow you to have a button attached to an image. I also love the various "heading" for the newsletter where I can choose to have my logo at the beginning of the newsletter, the logo, and the company name, or just the company name.
- I like how I can have the logo aligned to the left or center. Compared to MailChimp the design capabilities are more impressive.
- It was surprisingly easy to connect Mailerlite to my domain, the verification process was smooth, I'm not sure if it's this way for everyone or because i had done the same with MailChimp so it was easy for me.
- Unlike the newsletter design, their landing page design leaves much to be desired. More templates would be great as well.
- My emails kept going to the spam folder, I contacted support and was told it's an issue they working on as they had been blacklisted (or something like that). This was such an issue that even my internal newsletters sent to the team went to their spam folders.
- On outlook (desktop app), my newsletter rendered differently, specifically the "featured image" element. Instead of appearing as one large image, the images appeared as a grid, with nine images of the same image taking the space instead of one large image.
Mailerlite - a great way to market to your customers
- Segments
- Workflows
- Email customizations
- Faster loading times to new subscribers
- More landing page customizations
- Easier HTML coding of emails
The best hidden gem for starters!
- Ease of use/no learning curve
- Affordable for starters
- Various integrations with other apps
- Would like to see even more integrations in the future
