I am currently using Mailtrack and just started about a month ago. It is very helpful to me to be able to see if my emails are being opened and read. It also notifies me if someone has not opened an email I sent 1 or 2 days ago. I only have the free version but it is very helpful and I hope my company will purchase the professional version soon.
  • Tracks who opens an email.
  • Tracks which emails and who has not opened.
  • Daily report of emails sent, read, opened and unopened is excellent.
  • Only using this for a short period of time I am happy with its features.
During the course of the day, I am sending emails to other staff members to correct issues at their sites. It is very helpful to know when they have read the email and how long of time to correct the issues or respond to my requests. Mailtrack has definitely helped me in my position.

I am a licensed Realtor in Austin, TX. I started using Mailtrack because I wanted to be able to track when my offers were being sent to other agents. I ask for confirmation of receipt, but not everyone responds right away. It's any easy way for me to see if they have opened my email.
  • The ability to see whether your email has been opened.
  • When the email is sent to more than one person, you don't know who has read it.
Personally, I think it is a great way to send emails and know that they have been received. I don't feel like there are any scenarios where it is not appropriate.

Mailtrack has been an invaluable resource as a member of two boards of directors in an active Home Owners Association as well as running an online business, HoseGenie.com. As a board member, Mailtrack helps keep track of other board members' involvement and interest level. As an online retailer, I can tell how hot a lead is by seeing how quickly proposals and bids are opened and then shared. The application is intuitive, easy to use, and a great value for what it provides.
  • Real-time notifications of email opens without having to log-in and check is a real time saver.
  • Notifications when an email is shared helps show interest level of my recipients.
  • Easy setup and integration with Gmail makes using Mailtrack a snap.
  • No suggestions. I love everything about Mailtrack so far.
For anyone sending proposals and needing feedback on open rates, Mailtrack is a spot on.

Mailtrack does greatly expedite business communications in my company! It conduces the quality and productivity of the management activity. It is really easy and in the same time a convenient tool to use. I would like to recommend it to anyone who values their time. Mailtrack adds efficacy to your job in a subtle, but tangible way.
  • Convenience and discretion.
  • Reliability and accuracy.
  • Unobtrusiveness.
  • Operation in the environment of iOS.
  • SMS informing option.
  • Mail forwarding notification option.
The app is very useful for work and business and is unlikely to be suitable for personal use.

I currently us Mailtrack in my everyday work life. It allows me to identify when and how many times my email was opened and read. Previously I had no idea if the customer was reading my emails, or even getting them.
  • Easily identifies when an email has been read.
  • Allows me to track the full history of the email, including if it has been forwarded.
  • Supplies me with a weekly report if I desire.
  • It would be nice to know how long the email was opened. This might give me better insight as to whether it was actually read or just briefly opened and closed. If this feature exists I haven't found it yet.
Mailtrack is also good at letting me know when and how long ago an email was opened.

I am an individual user, but other employees within my department use Mailtrack as well. In my position it is often important to know if a recipient has read my email regarding a student and if I need to follow up to ensure things have been addressed. I am currently only using the free version, but can definitely see the merit in the paid version, and am seriously considering purchasing it. The peace of mind and satisfaction of knowing an email has been read is amazing, and has actually lowered my stress level in the time I've been using it. I highly recommend use of it to create a more confident and productive environment.
  • Quick notifications
  • Ease of use
  • The ability to see who specifically has read the email when sending to a group
It is well suited for most any scenario, although having the paid version where there are additional features available will probably prove to be the better option. The paid version also removes the large Mailtrack signature, which is more professional looking.

Mailtrack is extremely useful in our work environment, at least in our department. Before knowing about Mailtrack's possibilities, it was really impossible to keep track of the readings of the mails we had sent, and this great tool has practically changed our lives, allowing us to make decisions regarding the reading or not of those mails, in proposal applications, sending information and articles to journals, and confirmation of meetings.
  • It really does work
  • Its management is very easy
  • Non-intrusive
  • It should be better integrated into mobile environments
Any scenario where you need to have proof of receipt of an email is the scenario where you should have Mailtrack.

I'm a startup. When sending out cold emails, I didn't know if prospects were actually reading my emails. Sometimes, friends would mention that they hadn't received an email I sent from my work email. Mailtrack really helps with that. I like that I even get a summary the next day, which shows my open rates. They have different sized packages. The free version is just what I needed but I'm considering moving to the next level as it tracks emails with large attachments.
  • Open rate summary email
  • Simply know when someone has read your email
  • A minor annoyance is that it comes with an email signature promotion, but you can delete that.
Mailtrack can be used by anyone who sends personalized emails. It's nice to know what happens to them when you spend a long time writing them.

It is used by professors or someone in the education field. As I am a teaching assistant, it is very important for me to track emails as it gives me confirmation that the receiver has seen it, maintaining transparency between the sender and the receiver. In my case, between me and the students whom I am guiding. Mailtrack is providing an excellent service for professionals in the academic field.
  • Giving confirmation to the sender immediately regarding the delivery of the email and whether the receiver read it or not.
  • If an email is attached with documents, it gives an idea of whether the receiver read the document or not.
  • Gives information to the sender regarding how many times the receiver reads the email. It gives an idea to the sender regarding how important the email is.
  • Should at least allow 5 to 6 mb attachments without subscription.
  • Mailtrack should eradicate the sender notification sign as it might interpret a wrong impression towards the receiver regarding the email tracking process.
  • Mailtrack should be free for students and professors.
Mailtrack is suited for professional emails.

I utilize Mailtrack to track how many emails have been opened and when they have been opened. We also track how long it takes to receive a response to our emails once they have been opened, or if a response is ever received after they are opened. We also track the unopened emails as well.
  • Email Accountability
  • Email Response Time
  • Number of Emails Opened
  • I really don't have any cons. I have been very pleased with Mailtrack.
This is a great program for tracking emails, particularly in marketing departments. It works quite well. It provides reminders of emails that have not been opened. It provides you with daily tracking reports. You have an activity dashboard, link tracking, and it even tracks emails that have attachments. I find this an excellent program for judging email effectiveness.

It is key in our line of work to know exactly when emails are opened so that key milestones in the timeline can be confirmed and tracked. Time is money and just knowing that an email has not yet been seen can force a phone call to get the schedule back on track.
  • Real time tracking of the opening of emails is crucial.
  • Notice of emails that have not been opened allows for timely adjustments to the schedule.
  • Recipients seeing the Mailtrack logo and knowing they are being track helps expedite a response.
  • Coordinate with email providers to allow sorting Mailtrack analysis.
Critical for anyone who needs to know if a when an email has been opened. In real estate, all transactions follow a strict timetable between events.

Mailtrack is being used, obviously, as an assistant to track email sendings & readings. I recommended it across the whole organization, and 2-3 colleagues are using it. The app is helping us manage follow up on e-contact with clients, after emailing on certain subjects.
  • Sending/reading marks (v) before the sender's name.
  • Counting the number of email sendings/readings.
  • Calculation of period between sending the message and when it was read.
  • Providing info about response of clients on emailing.
  • Some dysfunctions between PC and mobile app.
Mailtrack is appropriate in professional email situations, whereas it may not be necessary for private use.

Mailtrack is a wonderful software to use. I have been sending emails to my prospects and clients through Gmail. There is no email tracking mechanism provided by Gmail. Mailtrack solves this grave issue and helps us to know who has opened our emails and how many times. It is a wonderful piece of software which easily syncs with Gmail. The software also gives a daily report as to how many emails were read, etc. Mailtrack helps us to focus on those clients who are interested in our emails. It helps us to sell our e-publication subscription. Thanks to the entire team who has made this wonderful software.
  • Mailtrack tells you who has opened your emails and how many times. This helps us to focus on interested prospects.
  • Mailtrack has a feature called as Campaign wherein one can mailmerge more than one email address and send the standard sales mail in one go. It really helps.
  • Mailtrack helps to get a daily report about the emails sent and read.
  • Mailtrack helps us to identify hot leads by telling us which are the guys who opened our emails multiple times.
  • Mailtrack should give a separate dashboard to check datewise statistics separately. Mails notifying unopened emails becomes a clutter.
  • Mailtrack should also allow to merge the individual names in Campaign option.
It is best suited for sales teams who need to know in real time about the status of the emails sent. It is less appropriate for sending personal emails. Mailtrack is well suited for internal teams also. It can help the team member to know whether or not their previous email was read. Many a time, people often feign ignorance with respect to having received the email in order to skip responsibility. If Mailtrack is used no one can give an excuse about not reading an email.

I primarily use it to track emails sent to students for tasks or appointments. It has been very helpful during distance learning since we no longer have that face to face, all day interaction. I am able to track which students still need to complete certain assignments, and if they are aware that there is a task needed to be completed.
Communication with staff has also been better since I can now track when they read my emails and how long it took for them to respond, when I reach out to set meeting times or even ask for ideas.
  • Email tracking.
  • Weekly Summaries of all emails sent.
  • Notifications of which emails haven't been read.
  • More affordable.
  • Maybe a setting to turn off each time it's being opened.
It helps me keep track of my emails sent to students as well as with coworkers. I have the free version so the Mailtrack signature looks so unprofessional, but it has been helpful when tracking my students' responses to tasks or appointments. This has been a great asset to the distance learning and I recommend it to the educators I work with as well.

I have been using Mailtrack during the past 3 years across different organizations. I used it personally, it is not deployed organization-wide. It integrates easily via Gmail and it is really a very helpful tool. I can know instantly when people are reading my mail and also when they are reviewing the mail once more. It helps me to make sure that my mail is read properly and helps in planning follow up calls and meetings.
  • It helps in knowing when mail is read.
  • It integrates easily with Gmail.
  • It helps in providing dashboards and summaries about the mail sent and read.
  • Gmail integration on mobile.
  • Notifications on the task bar.
Mailtrack can be used during the sales and pre-sales process. After cold calling, it can help to monitor a follow-up call and know for sure that the mail is getting the right attention. If not, proper actions can be taken. It also helps to manage team members virtually. To make sure that the mails are delivered properly and read on time.

Mailtrack is the only tool I use on all my accounts. It helps track customers and all feedback and to get a hold of how "hot" the mail is to see if it converts or not. I have been "saved" a lot of times by Mailtrack by getting ahead of many conversations. I recommend it to all my friends and all the people I work with.

  • Easy to use
  • Notifications are a big plus
  • Reporting is good
  • Limit of 3Mb per mail for the free version
  • Sometimes there is no feedback
  • Sometimes installing takes time
I always recommend Mailtrack.

I have been using Mailtrack for 2 months. It is very, very helpful for me to track how much my clients and customers are interested in our emails. We segregate the customers according to their opening times of emails. Due to this feature of Mailtrack we are now able to observe our customer behaviour. It help us to find more interested customers with conversion potential. Kudos to the Mailtrack team.
  • Perfect tracking of email reading.
  • Real time notifications of email opening.
  • No suggestions at this moment.
Mailtrack can be used while targeting a specific audience for email marketing. After sending mass emails we can track the interested customers by their reading time duration, email forwarding counts & opening counts. It helps a lot with funneling. Potential customers can be found by this very easily. We also get the information about the device from which email got opened.

I use Mailtrack on a daily basis to track my emails with current clients, leads, and other professionals in my industry. Since I'm a freelancer, It's only being used by me, but it really is helpful. Getting notifications when an important email has been read is extremely helpful in knowing when to follow up in case of no response from them.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test out the paid version of the product yet, but I'm highly considering it with how great just the free version is. My only issue with the product is that every email has a watermark on it when you send it, HOWEVER, you can delete it extremely easily, and the company even shows you how to do it! I have seen no other email tracking software out there that 1) allows you to delete the watermark, but also 2) shows you exactly how to do it! They're an extremely user-friendly service and I would highly recommend them.
  • Tracks emails
  • Allows you to remove watermarks
  • Desktop notifications
  • None I can think of
It's honestly well-suited for any email tracking needs you may have. I can't think of a single situation in which I wouldn't want a read receipt when the other party has opened the email, and Mailtrack provides that ability. It's extremely beneficial when you need to know if a client or lead has read your email. Yes, they offered me a 3 month free trial of the paid version to write this review, but that DOES NOT affect my statements.

I use MailTrack to keep track of sensitive emails and make sure the recipient reads them. This is the first program of this type I have used and I think it's very good. I don't even think they make other programs like this.
  • Shows when an email has been read.
  • Lets me know if a follow up is required.
  • Keeps track of emails.
  • Does a great job.
  • Ability to hide that you are tracking emails.
  • That's about it.
If you need to know if your email is actually being read or opened, its the perfect program. I haven't tried any other programs so I do not have anything to compare it with other the Outlook, which I do not like.

I use MailTrack to make sure that the students are reading my email and to see whether the Professor is online or not. Emailing has been so much easier with MailTrack and I am really glad that I downloaded it. I am a TA for about 100 students and it is not easy to make sure that they got all the announcements. But with MailTrack, I can track how many students are actually reading my emails. I also like how it notifies me that the person has not read the email. It makes it easier for me to notify my professor with information that he did not read. He receives simply way too many emails and I know that it is not easy for him to read all my emails. With MailTrack, communication is just much more efficient and easier.
  • Tells how many people have read the email.
  • Notifies you when the other person has not read the email for a long time.
  • Easy to use.
  • Free trial of the pro features would be nice.
  • I can’t use it with my phone.
  • When I send it to multiple people, I would like to know who hasn’t read my email.
My professor always seems to be late with emails because he simply receives too many. Because MailTrack notifies me when people haven’t opened the email for a long period of time, I can easily remind my professor with important information again knowing that he doesn’t know it yet. I often send emails to many people at once, and it is hard to know who opened it and who did not. It only lets me know how many times it has been opened. I am not too sure about the pro features, but with the basic version you cannot see who actually opens that email.

We use it to track all emails that we send to see if recipients are professional enough to respond.

I have pointed out to multiple prospects that I had noticed they opened my email but had yet to respond; the majority of those prospects became clients as I was able to subtly emphasize how my time is important and extremely valuable.

I have only used the free version but have been extremely pleased with the functionalities.

I am very inclined to try the pro version!
  • Track when my email has been opened.
  • Notifying me when a past email has been opened again by the recipient.
  • Seamlessly integrate the tracking service into each email.
  • I can't say since I've only used the free version.
  • I believe that the improvements I wish to see are provided in the pro version.
It is suited for ANYONE who values their time and expects transparent communication.

From personal emails to business/professional emails, everyone needs this!

MailTrack was used individually by me mostly to track email opens. It was used sparingly by limited members of no particular team when we didn't have a proper product in place to track email opens.
  • Very accurate email open triggers.
  • I also like the green tick and how it mentions how many times individual emails in a thread have been opened and which haven't been. You can resend the email that probably hasn't been read or hasn't been read by enough people.
  • MailTrack in its existing form and use cases does what it is supposed to, but most products help track email opens, which is why you can use any alternatives with a lot of other features, e.g. Mixmax, thus they need to improve and add a lot of features.
When you need a free email tracking tool, I find MailTrack the best. When you want to pay for one, you might want to look at products that provide more features, and which one makes the most sense will also depend on which other CRMs you use. I have yet to see the paid version which might have as many features as others but we never evaluated the full product features.

MailTrack is one of the most used tools to track email delivery and whether the recipient has opened it or not and, if yes, when they first opened it. MailTrack helps us to track business emails for various purposes. It is not widely used in our organization. It depends user-to-user and case-by-case. But MailTrack surely helps us to track email delivery.
  • It offers a free version.
  • They update us in seconds that the recipient has opened the mail.
  • They send tracking emails more often, even when it is not required.
  • They should add the recipient name at least in the free version, too.
For someone who has little technical knowledge but wants to get information about whether the recipient has opened the email or not, and if yes, at what time or date, MailTrack is well suited. I've been using MailTrack for a long time, but I'm not able to integrate it with Gmail on my android phone. MailTrack is a little bit complex.

I use MailTrack to track opens for both candidates and clients. It's an immensely helpful tool that is hard to live without once you have had it. While I don't frequently use it for anything sales related, just being appraised by when someone is reviewing my emails helps me be prepared to answer quickly. That allows my customer service to be that much better and helps me not be surprised out of the blue by important emails.
  • It automatically tracks anything sent from the computer, which is nice.
  • The notifications via Chrome are pretty reliable and when I'm at my desktop, always keep me aware of opens.
  • I think they have the right price. There aren't many tools that do this, and many are included in a much larger monthly service, so an individual tool like this at an affordable yearly price is very welcome.
  • Their biggest issue is mobile implementation. I have it successfully implemented on Android, but still barely use it. In order to use it, you have to specifically go into an extension and click "new tracked reply" for every message you send. It's cumbersome and inconvenient, and I forget to do it the majority of the time.
  • Notifications are limited to desktop, seemingly even when you use Android to track the messages. This really limits the usefulness on the phone which in my mind is a big negative.
  • Randomly I get a message that recipient is untrackable or I get confusing notifications when they're actually group emails. No service is all that great at group email read tracking, but I'm unsure why some recipients are untrackable seemingly at random. It happens to people I have very successfully used this with, and continue to do so, but sometimes it just doesn't work.
Mailtrack is great for tracking emails if you do not want to pay for larger more complicated tools that do the same thing. If you already love your system but just want to add some convenient read tracking, that's exactly what this is for.

If you have a system that doesn't work well, I would take the time to evaluate alternatives that also include read tracking (Salesforce for example). This also applies if you're trying to use this for large outbound sales emails - there are a lot of applications that have email tracking built in (Outreach.io is a great example) so it may just be worth switching your whole system.

It was being used to track when business emails were being opened. This is very useful for keeping in touch with clients for project management and following up on leads. MailTrack offers a very clear and simple way to see this information right within Gmail. I was briefly using a paid version of the software.
  • It has a clear and very simple way of displaying within Gmail (it didn't work for me, for whatever reason though)
  • For whatever reason, this didn't work on my computer. Not the point of this review though, I know sometimes things don't work and that's OK. I tried to get a refund (within 30 days and within their terms), which was almost impossible. After emailing their refund address 4 times and no response, I tried messaging their Facebook to request a refund. I was told to try reinstalling it and the request pawned off... and follow up messages ignored. I emailed their feedback email address and also ignored. I even opened a ticket within the PayPal resolution centre which was also ignored.Funnily enough, when escalated to a claim on PayPal, they resolved it within a couple of hours.
  • DO NOT give these people your money. They do not honor their agreement and will do anything to avoid it. Terrible.
Useful for tracking whether your emails have been opened. Easily viewed within your Gmail. Will very clearly show when an email has been opened.
