I learn almost everything from the Marketo community! As I stated in a previous response, Marketo is not very intuitive and does not provide free instruction for their product. So the Marketo community is by far the best forum to reference when attempting to learn something new. The community has truly helped me expand my Marketo knowledge and expertise.

Marketo community allows you to post questions as discussions and has some of the smartest minds there and ready to answer. There is never a close of a discussion, so you can usually find the most up to date answer to questions that have been asked in the past. The Marketo community is the first place I turn to when I want a gut check on program setup, a look into what other practitioners are doing in their instances, or to learn methods in Marketo I wouldn't have thought of myself.

It contains a wealth of information and experts that most platforms make you pay for - use it every day and be glad for it!

It is so wonderful to have a large vibrant community. They are able to fill in cracks that no support team can hope to completely cover in a timely manner. Any thing you might be dream has likely been faced or at least dream by someone else... so getting help is only a few click away and most folks are super helpful and friendly. We got alot of help from a very active member that is one of the authorities on Marketo and Velocity. This is one of the most powerful things about leading platforms like Marketo, Adobe Creative Cloud and SFDC... the users are so active and friendly.

If you have a question, the Marketo community had likely answered it. It's possibly the best resource there is for troubleshooting specific things in Marketo. The community is well supported and very active! I myself am an active participant of the community almost every day!

There are often times many ways you can accomplish the same task. When you ask for help on the community you may get several different answers. It's helpful to get different perspectives so you can determine which method best aligns with you. I recommend using the community to get to know power users who can be a great resource when you need it and have time to wait for a community response.

I've learned that no question is a dumb question, and that there are power users who will be willing to guide you to the end in any kind of scenario. Lead scoring tips & tricks are also abundant, so it's great that we're able to leverage the community to learn who's involved in the scoring process [sales and marketing], how to set up for success [lead scoring templates from Marketo are life savers!] and where the handoff should be from marketing to sales.
