What is Adobe Marketo Engage?

Adobe Marketo Engage, from Adobe since 2018, aims to help marketing teams drive demand and growth in their companies by delivering exceptional experiences in concert with sales at every stage of the customer journey.

The challenge these teams face is that everyone today expects a personalized experience whenever they interact with a company - they don’t have patience for generic marketing and the last thing they want is a cold call from sales. So to stay competitive, marketing teams are scrambling to understand customers better, so they can give them a better experience, because this is disrupting entire industries. And a big part of what’s needed is figuring out how marketing and sales can do a better job together.

Adobe Marketo Engage aims to redefine Marketing Automation by helping these companies bring together the customer data, content, automation and analytics needed for marketing and sales to coordinate engagement with customers that’s personalized and measurable at every touchpoint - and do it with efficiency and scale.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Folders, and archiving assets. I use these to keep my instance organized and it's up to me how I want it to be organized. I can change things. Then I also follow a naming structure to keep everything easy to find and for anyone else who uses the system.

Workspaces, folders, and programs all help keep me organized in Marketo. Workspaces allow you to segement out different users/ use cases in Marketo, for instance separating out customers and prospects. Folders keep everything nice and tucked away to help you easily find what your looking for. Programs & Channels help you keep naming conventions for Salesforce campaigns in Marketing's control and help you determine how people flow through with ease.

The ability to set up folders and put programs into those folders with the content, smart lists and reporting.
The ability to rename a folder, smart list, smart campaign, list, etc.
The ability to clone programs, forms, and other assets so they it is simple to reuse base parts of your assets

I really appreciate how folders are organized using the tree system; the archive is also extremely helpful for hiding things that we no longer actively use, but would prefer keeping just in case! The one thing that would better help organization in Marketo would be an easier way of opening new tabs while inside the software.

The foldering. While I don't love how everything lives in one place, once you figure out a dedicated foldering system, it makes a lot more sense and it is easier to find what you're looking for. The search function is also great! And the campaign queue!

The tree structure is very familiar to anyone, so the organisation of contents can be pretty much the same as the organisation of documents in a computer/cloud. The only thing making it less helpful is that there are some elements that cannot be moved to other locations for some reason.

There is a history list that shows all the items you visited recently. Marketo has a folder structure that is easy to navigate (if you set it up correctly). Marketo has clear places to work on different areas of the platform, and you don't have to go to a lot of different places or tabs to get to everything you need.

As a Marketo admin, the campaign inspector is an important tool for me, so that I can see what's running or scheduled to be run by someone on the team. It's been particularly useful when we've had to re-prioritize campaigns at the last minute. Another great tool for staying organized are channels and tags. By giving each of our programs a channel and other specific tags that align to our business needs, the team is able to easily find the programs they need and we are able to report more easily in a systematic way.

The ability to create folders and subfolders is important to the way my team works. We use a folder system that is mirrored from program to program so that you can find the assets, campaigns, etc. more rapidly and efficiently. It also makes cloning programs much easier. We use template programs that are blank versions of our live programs so that we can quickly create new ones.
