I've tried giving Marketo more money! We want to expand our service through Marketo and add on, but it seems I can't get in contact with anyone at Marketo and get actual follow through! Love the product, but service is lacking from my perspective.

My issues tend to be with specific details that are hard to support. More general inquiries are handled well, and can generally be solved through the bank of solutions and answers available. For things requiring direct support contact, these tend to go fairly well. I do, however, tend to go to other resources before official support.

The clients that do have the support seem to have issues. They have had a number of complaints around training and fully understanding the issues before they fall back to the answer "it's designed that way"

During 2 years of using Marketo I have been using Marketo support a lot! Not that I always need it as many answers can be found in the community but it consistently prove effective, getting replies generally within hours and them being very knowledged.
Support is very involve into providing us with the best and when faced with difficult situation, willing to make some research and/or escalate cases to the proper stakeholder.

Support is very poor, takes quite a long time for any real response. They have a chat function that has no real support function, in my experience all they have done is searched the same resources I have and recited answers back to me.

On multiple occasions we've had Marketo support (technical and license based) issues. Technical issues were minor and resolved within a day. License based issues (even things encouraged by Marketo for partners, like provisioning another license) took WEEKS. They actually took so long to respond that the client we were working with withdrew from the contract because they were no longer convinced Marketo was capable of supporting their business. As an agency trying to sell the software, you can only explain away so much before they just made us look silly.

Support does not exist! The user community is what you are expected to depend on, and while nimble, it would be very nice to call someone up and ask for help with simple questions. Often, I felt like I was asking for help from a Google or Facebook style site

While they're very slow at resolving issues that seriously hamper producing good web (landing) pages, they eventually get around to creating solutions. It could take 6 months, 12 months, or more.
