MemberClicks serves as our association management software - database, events, and listserv.
  • Our members loved the listserv function, although searchability was limited
  • Terms, conditions and pricing changed with limited notice
  • Customer service was untimely
  • No client relationship, despite purporting to have one
We've had a very disappointing experience with MemberClicks. Purchased in 2016 for our small association, and enjoyed years worth of amazing service. After the company was purchased, in my experience, service began to wane. Emails begin to say "response may be delayed." We had to add a calendar invite to follow up with all service tickets. No new functionality was introduced. COVID was a challenge for our association, and MemberClicks kept increasing prices - "client success" was removed. Terms and conditions changed in March 2023 with limited notice. Pricing increased by 20% in July 2023. Based on confusing terms, we requested a phone call. I received an email: "Thanks [...], we do not have phone support..." In my opinion, this is a stark contrast to the opening of the company's mission: "We talk with you..." In fact, in my experience, they don't. For us, a very disappointing conclusion to a relationship that we relied upon to connect and engage our members.

We used MemberClicks in one of our public speaking groups to help ease out membership management and plan our events in a more effective manner. Certainly the tool stood tall to it's promise and we've conducted many events with this tool. It can even manage payments seamlessly removing all the hassle of traditional options.

MemberClicks is well suited if you want a clear visibility on your members' engagement and process their membership renewals in an automated manner. Another use case where it's well suited is invoicing for events and taking payments for the same. It's not so well suited for cross-sharing of tickets or supporting a large number of payment options where it can be improved.

MemberClicks was one of the first tools I used and really hit off well with it. Prior to this I used to manage everything on Google sheets which was cost effective in short term but considering the amount of time I invested into it in long-term certainly Memberclicks was much more cost-efficient.

ANHC Pro uses Memberclicks to manage membership and run our website.
  • MemberClicks does an excellent job at managing our memberships. It collects payments, sends out reminders, updates member status based on payments.
  • We also use MemberClicks for invoicing for special services. Through Memberclicks we can produce, track, and receive payments for invoices.
  • Our MemberClicks website is easy to manage. We can add pages, blogs, events, and announcements easily.
  • The contact center works well for contacting individuals or groups via email.
  • Memberclick would be better with email sequencing capabilities
  • SMS messaging would also be a nice addition to the platform
  • Eventbrite data collection would be great. ANHC Pro uses Eventbrite instead of the built-in event management system because of Eventbrite markets to a wider audience.
Memberclicks is especially designed for associations. I would not recommended to other businesses.
  • We were able to increase sales by nearly 100% in one year, more than covering our investment.
MemberClicks is more robust that Wild Apricot and easier to use. Memberclicks understands the needs of associations more than HubSpot.
