Fortinet FortiExtender provides broadband access to the internet and allows for our agency's business integration with practices that require remote connections to complete our work. Fortinet FortiExtender is easy to use, not too difficult to implement and manage and is a good WAN solution.

Fortinet FortiExtender is well suited to delivering fast 5G and LTE service. The cloud-based system is great so that our agency can manage the cloud from anywhere which is great during remote work. The Fortinet FortiExtender was easy to deploy and the system has been easy to manage. The Fortinet FortiExtender is less appropriate when it comes to the cost to implement and the customer support could be improved.

With new technology improvements, we had to move with 3G , 4G connectivity requirements and new 5G changes to improve WAN connections with SD-WAN feature set. Fortinet FortiExtender gave us quick adaption with new technologies without big infrastructure changes and with lower TCO. This gives high flexibility to provide main or backup WAN connections to company with stable internet connectivity.

Fortinet FortiExtender well matched to quick WAN additions and extending scenarios using 4G and 5G networks. this gives capability to rural areas which have 4G connectivity to extend WAN capabilities beyond lower speed networks or very complex ground level connectivity options. also since 5G is still in evolution stage for many countries, 4G option gives total capabilities for WAN backup links.

With Fortinet Security, FortiExtender helps to achieve high-end internet scalability and high-end connectivity in the organization. IT's wireless scalability and out-of-the-band management enabled us to achieve the scalability and easy connectivity of the internet in the organization. The cloud-based management increased efficiency and helped us manage the user and other related activities for monitoring and planning.

Fortinet itself is a well know name in managing the firewall and security. With FortiExtender they gave an excellent solution for increasing the connectivity within the organization and helps to manage it with the cloud-based system. The implementation helped to achieve lower latency and higher efficiency for the users in the organization.

As a learning entity, Business Technology University has several libraries and labs, where students should be able to make homework and have access to some cloud platforms to stay up-to-date and use proper materials and test labs. Using old, outdated, and insecure products is inappropriate for a learning institution. So there were some challenges, namely: stable and secure connection, the ability to monitor the sessions, ability to optimize the working process.

We use Fortinet's fortiextender for our parking lot on warehouse WIFI backup system. It works great when our primary WIFI system needs to be updated or simply fails. Fortinet's platform works seamlessly with our Fortinet Firewall.This product is fairly easy to configure and provides easy access GUI for future patching.

Fortinet FortiExtender works best in our open air warehouse environment and our parking structure. It provides ease of access for our technicians to connect wireless while roaming around our warehouse.

our departments as well as to provide us backup when our cable network gets

failed due to any of the causes. It is great in providing us backup in critical

situations and is also managing some of the department’s critical processes. We

are integrating it with other Fortinet security.

then it is one of the finest choices which they'll definitely never regret. I

admit that we took a long and evaluated a lot before buying it but the ease,

security, and great coverage it has provided us is enough to praise it and

makes it worth appreciating.

year back and it helps backup our fiber cable. and it is helping us out in

managing our critical processes in case of any mishap and if our internet

connections run out. It is great with great signal strength. and its

integration helps in [providing us more secure.

Fortinet is great for the big companies that can't afford

any network problems and must have some backup network connectivity tool.

Fortiextender is stable, provides strong signals, and is a much secure tool.

and I think it is a perfect backup solution and we are using it as a secondary

solution and are utilizing it for almost daily purposes.

Great devices from Fortinet if you need to have mobile 4G coverage in those remote branches, even for the main connectivity or for the backup connectivity as in our case. We do believe these devices provide really good service, as signal strength even in a remote location gets enough bandwidth for daily operations of the whole branch. Also Fortinet FortiExtenders are well integrated into the Fortinet security fabric, which provides that extra layer of security.

If you have Fortinet's SD-WAN solution, this might be the perfect backup solution, as we switch over to 4G in case our primary network fails by using these extenders. It works in around two or three seconds to establish the connection backup. Also we do use it daily as secondary link to utilize a mobile connection for non-business-critical tasks like PC patching so we don't have an affect on the primary link of the remote branches.

We currently have FortiExtender's installed at our facilities to back up our Fiber and Cable services. It's primary purpose is to ensure uptime for credit card processing and other critical services when an outage on hardline internet connections is down. Our facilities are located well away from population centers, and the FortiExtender has allowed our business to function through multiple outages in the last 3 years.

FortiExtender requires a connection to a FortiGate firewall. If you are a FortiGate shop and are looking for a 4G backup connection, then there is no reason to look elsewhere, the direct management from the FortiGate, the ability to use usage statistics and status in your SD-Wan config are worth it. If you do not use FortiGate firewalls, then please look elsewhere, you can not configure this device independently.
