Micro Focus Operations Bridge Manager is a Unified monitoring solution along with Event Management tool Used in our couple of customers we support. This address our proactive monitoring and event management uses cases
  • Good Coverage of datacenter technologies monitoring
  • Got decent plug in options to integrate with other monitoring tools for event Management
  • Overall dashboards can be better
  • Agent onboarding can be more automated than manual
Any customer who is looking for a unified monitoring solution with event Management and also looking for AIOPs.
Good coverage of technologies coverage, however if any customer looking for better dashboarding solution then it may not fit.
thou MF got BVD but it seems like more complex.

  • URL Availability monitoring using Sitescope
  • Monitoring, OOB plugins, Event Management and AIOps are good
  • Dashboard and agent onboarding could be improved as one of our customer was not happy with the same
SCOM is excellent monitoring tool however it doesn't cover Event Management where as Micro Focus Operations Bridge Manager does both monitoring and Event Management
