Our entire organization uses the complete Microsoft 365 suite. Email, Office, Teams, SharePoint.
It enables us to communicate effectively without and outside of our organization. The collaboration that it allows with the use of Office & SharePoint is extremely beneficial. SSO integration with other apps also allows us to use other applications with the security of M365 and convenience of a single login.
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Security
  • Integration within existing Microsoft apps
M365 is beneficial for a business that requires collaboration on files amongst users and across multiple locations. Being able to access files from anywhere is a common requirement and M365 allows that to happen easily.
An area where M365 may not be a requirement is when a business wants to own their products without a recurring payment.

MS Office 365 is simply the gold standard for office productivity. As a team we routinely use nearly all the different software packages to perform daily functions such as word processing, spreadsheet activities and presentation development. The ease of use and integration between all users, both internally and externally, is second to none.
  • Word processing, spreadsheets and presentation development
  • Integration with email / Outlook and simple mail merge functions
  • OneDrive integration and sharing of files
  • OneDrive is actually a double-edged sword: it's good, but we encounter access issues more often than we'd like.
  • It also includes access to the online versions of Word, Excel, etc.. I wish the functionality of the online versions was exactly the same as the desktop version.
  • Formatting sometimes gets wonky when moving a file from online to offline or vice versa.
Again, MS Office 365 is just the gold standard. Nearly everyone is familiar with it, nearly everyone knows how to use it, and nearly everyone has compatible software that makes things really, really easy to share without issue. We don't use some of the tools such as Access and OneNote, but for word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, there's just no match.

Microsoft 365 is useful across our entire organization. The cloud connectivity and interpersonal communication is invaluable. Coupled with our other practice management software, Microsoft 365 is one of the backbones of our office. We also appreciate that it's HIPAA compliant, provides calendar functions, note taking, spreadsheet functions, etc. It has everything required to run a business.
  • cloud storage
  • interoffice communication
  • sharepoint
  • file sharing
  • word document
  • excel/budgeting spreadsheets
  • syncing
  • user interface navigation - harder for my nonproficient staff to use
It's great for any business that depends on communication between staff. Even in smaller businesses, it's very useful for accounting, writing letters, storing useful files, HIPAA compliance, and writing emails. The user interface can take a little while to get used to and there is room for improvement there. Highly recommended over Gsuite.

Microsoft 365 is the go-to suite for office productivity-spreadsheet, word processing, PIM Outlook and presentations. It has improved significantly in terms of usage and settings across multiple devices and platforms. The subscription model has helped with keeping users on the same version and up to date. We also find it is very effective with One Drive.
  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Spreadsheets
  • Presentations
  • Sometimes difficult to find particular features and functions
  • Capabilities are so extensive that many go unused with substantial training
  • Should have secure email built-in
It is the foundational software set for office professionals who use spreadsheets, create or edit documents and presentations, and maintain calendars, to-do lists and contacts. It is fully featured beyond the needs of many users but an essential set of applications. I can't think of an office scenario where it isn't appropriate or essential.

I used Microsoft 365 in the day to day operations of my business. Creating documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The problem it addresses is the need to create documents that are easy to share with a wide number of people and, in my experience, more people have programs installed that can open Office documents than any other similar software. I choose Microsoft 365 specifically for this reason.
  • Word processing
  • Slide deck presentations
  • Spreadsheets
  • A one time license fee that includes ongoing support for the product
  • An easier way to opt out of the pop up that asks if you want to save a document to the cloud
  • A wider variety of available fonts would be fantastic
If you are going to be sending a lot of documents to clients, or presenting at conferences that use a projection set up developed in the stone age, Microsoft 365 will make life a lot easier. It's also a great choice for many B2B scenarios, as very many larger corporate entities use Office almost by default. If you're running a larger team, Office is a good choice, too, as most people have experience using this software, so onboarding takes less time.

We use Microsoft 365 enterprise-wide for reports, PowerPoint for training, email, contracts, documents, etc. Everything is highly intuitive and easy to use, [and] offers more functions than we need. One aspect of this product that needs serious work by the developer(s) is the Outlook email function. It is cumbersome and applies "rules" inconsistently. I frequently find valid email in my junk folder, after I created a rule for that originator (multiple times, actually). I occasionally find junk email in my inbox. Google's and Yahoo's algorithms are excellent at separating valid and junk email. That is the only complaint about the product. The support.... different story. Microsoft continues to use the pandemic as the excuse for poor customer service ("during these difficult times"). Funny how other companies of similar size and stature have rebounded and found a work-around to the COVID issues.
  • Document creation and editing.
  • Excel is highly intuitive and the Help function actually has helpful hints (for a change).
  • PowerPoint remains the dominant delivery method - also highly intuitive with new graphic options.
  • Outlook email - see previous comments about junk mail rules.
  • Customer service needs serious leadership.

Microsoft 365 is excellent for small and large companies, desktop document manipulation, PowerPoint and database management.

We are using Microsoft 365 cloud edition in our organization along with some native applications like Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint installed on the systems of the employees. Microsoft 365 is an incredibly great solution for performing most of the routine work for any type of organization, as we get the best email service in form of Microsoft outlook and a wonderful collaboration solution in form of Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint. Other applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote are almost the fundamental requirements of any professional in today's world. Microsoft 365 has solved all of our basic work-life issues and being able to use the applications in the cloud, we can access our work on the go from anywhere without any problems. As Microsoft Teams is also part of our enterprise license of Microsoft 365, we can communicate and conduct team meetings virtually whenever needed. Microsoft 365 is available to use for all of the employees in the organization through the SSO facility.
  • Have all the necessary applications available under one bundle to perform most of the routine office work.
  • Availability of cloud version makes it accessible from anywhere and anytime without losing any continued working.
  • Best solutions for emailing and collaboration with the team.
  • Great data backup and collaborative working solutions through OneDrive for business.
  • Ease of use and SSO availability.
  • Pricing of enterprise license is high.
Microsoft 365 has everything available within its applications bundle to perform any type of routine job and has a lot of potentials to get the job done in a more perfect and easiest way. Applications available with the Microsoft 365 are equally useful for any person, organization, or business in multiple use cases. I would recommend everyone to must try Microsoft 365, if looking for a complete office solution.

Office 365 is used as a comprehensive suite for productivity enhancement and document sharing purposes. We use it across the organization. It solves document management and sharing-related complexities in an extremely easy and transparent way.
  • With help of Office 365 cloud version, all the Microsoft Office Products become available on the cloud where one can easily edit/create/delete the documents. These documents can make available at any place and time without carrying them on a computer.
  • Sharing documents becomes really easy and secure. Sharable links can be generated with different options like view only and editable. Also, you can opt to receive the email when the recipient opens the document.
  • Data Migration from one account to another account is transparent. Just issue the command and it will do the rest. Extremely important when a team member leaves the organization and you want to take the entire data backup into your drive.
  • Searching the document by name and even by content is possible. This makes it really cool when someone manages quite a number of documents.
  • Easy integration with Microsoft AD makes sure single credentials work across all the accounts. No hassle to integrate other federated identity providers.
  • The client version of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tries to take a backup of each change on the cloud. This makes the performance a little sluggish specifically internet connectivity is intermittent.
  • Consumes more memory on MAC OS and slower as compare to Windows version.
  • It comes with an entire suite which helps to create the ecosystem and makes integration really simple.
  • The support for MDM integration is also really good and comes with a lot of configurability options to make sure enterprise-grade security
  • Federated Identity makes sure Single Sign ON and helps achieve uniform credentials across the organization.
  • Excellent support for iOS and Android devices.

Our whole organization uses Microsoft 365. It's a huge benefit to all our teams. Not only does it provide the basics of word processing, datasheets, and email organization, but it also has solved our need for an intranet through Sharepoint and digital group communication through Teams. Microsoft 365 has been invaluable to the success of our organization.

  • Video Conferencing

Microsoft Office has been a staple of most organizations since I was a child. Microsoft 365 is the maturation of that suite and it shows. It's best for anyone who has any need to produce documents, stay organized or communicate with anyone, ever. I really can't think of a situation that isn't beneficial - even for families helping their children through school, single individuals looking to stay connected with loved ones far away (through Teams)... the uses are just shy of infinite.

Using this as the primary suite for the business: e-mail, communication (Teams), word processing, spreadsheets, collaboration. You name it. No package in the market comes close to it in terms of the variety of solutions it offers and all of this at a price that just makes sense with different bundles to suit your needs.
  • Integration with other Microsoft systems
  • Great feature set
  • Pricing
  • Complicated licensing
  • Changes too often
If you, like the majority of businesses, are already invested in Microsoft products, the move to Microsoft 365 just makes a lot of sense. It's seamless to deploy and ensures you are using the latest product with all the benefits plus the security that it provides and allows you to grow as your needs grow with different packages that cover from the basics to all the advanced features.

Our entire organization is currently utilizing the Microsoft 365 platform. We have this as part of our standard computer "image" and it includes the basic Office suite. We are leveraging Outlook as the primary email client throughout the company. We are also utilizing Excel and Word for our spreadsheets and document creation/editing.
  • Microsoft 365 is a wonderful application that is rock solid. It functions perfectly on my PC as well as on our MacBook devices.
  • The ability to quickly and easily deploy add-ins through the Microsoft 365 admin portal is excellent. We have deployed several add-ins (such as one to report phishing emails in Outlook) and it automatically gets pushed to the end user's devices (mobile devices and computers).
  • Microsoft Teams has really helped us to collaborate with the various entities (sub-companies) in our umbrella. Teams gives us the ability to also limit who can access specific information (based on memberships). This is extremely helpful when collaborating on top-secret projects that aren't ready for disclosure to the "masses".
  • I did prefer how Skype for Business displayed contact information as compared to how Microsoft Teams displays info. In Skype, I was able to right-click someone's name and choose to display the contact card. In Teams, I dont have this option and have to wait for the "tooltip" to automatically appear which has that info. There are times that the tooltip is slow to appear...or doesn't appear at all, and not having the ability to righ-click and choose a menu is unavailable.
  • I also dislike how Teams will automatically keep recent chat history. I find myself having to leave group conversations, and then have to select the option to "hide" the chat history as well. Additionally if I simply want to look up contact info for a user, then I have to act like I am going to start a new chat with them, then I can get the contact info. After I have the info I need, I have to right-click and choose to Hide the conversation (even though no messages were actually sent).
With the full support of Microsoft to stand behind their product, it is a no-brainer for us to go with Microsoft 365 for our organization. This software suite encompasses everything we need to get the job done quickly and easily. The gold-standard for Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Slideshows, and emails is what Microsoft 365 provides to us. Excel alone provides us with such useful built-in functionality/formulas that save us time, not to mention all of the other great applications that come as part of this suite. Even if you are a non-profit organization (such as a church), Microsoft 365 is a very reliable and affordable tool to help your employees stay productive and in touch.

<div>Microsoft 365 is what my company relies on for creating spreadsheets, text files, preparing presentations and much more. It's amazing how handy the Office suite comes in handy and it's a must have on every computer nowadays. We also use SharePoint to collaborate on teams' files.<br></div><div>Recently we started using OneDrive included in Microsoft 365 to backup users' files into the cloud.</div><div><br></div>
  • Real-time collaboration between users
  • Integration with AD, allowing managers to use security groups to manage licensing
  • Backup to the cloud using OneDrive
  • The installation package wouldn't work sometimes
  • Users constantly have to re-authenticate to on OneDrive (keeps signing out)
  • Integration with Macs, sometimes OneDrive and other components of suite are a bit clunky
As we all know, spreadsheets have been live savers for all kinds of people, from the ones who deal with complicated math to the ones who just want to manage inventory in a simple way. Adding to that, Microsoft 365 has text and slide tools, as well as OneDrive, which we can use for backing up files to the cloud automatically and SharePoint which can be used for collaboration across the company.

Microsoft tools are by far the most used and recognized tools for word processing and email management. Microsoft Outlook is the tool we use most. It easily streamlines handling multiple mailboxes/addresses and seamlessly allows for us to address mail from a multitude of addresses based on the response needed.
  • Broadly recognized
  • Ease of use
  • Good mobile interface
  • I'd like to be able to add categories to items on my calendar
  • A wider variety of templates for both Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • It would be AMAZING if One Note opened inside of Outlook instead of as separate application.
To be honest Microsoft tools have become a necessary evil. There is not an alternative available that compares. I'm still a bit old school and prefer stand alone installations versus cloud solutions. I have yet to find a comparable alternative for PC or Android. My clients have expressed some frustrations when their web based email applications were converted to Office 365 without being given options, some felt it was forced on them.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) has been our default office application across the whole organization. We are implementing the whole enterprise suite, with all the integrated packages of OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, and document processing apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) solved the problem of disintegrated systems and brought everything together within the Microsoft Office ecosystem.
  • Integrated all the useful apps in one place
  • Single sign-on for all Microsoft apps
  • Mobile availability across different operating systems
  • Add language translator into the suite
  • Inbuilt file compression to save space--this applies to videos and photos without losing the quality
  • I would love to see customizable themes for the outlook email box
I would love to see it in every office computer interaction. It's just something you can't do without.
It may however be less appropriate for internet deficient locations. I understand we have the offline (installed) versions, but these have limitations when it comes to the communications strengths. I am obliged to imagine the 365 entails the complete office communications capability.

Microsoft 365 is being used by our entire organization. All of the employees use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams. It solves our communication and productivity problems rather well. Each individual productivity product has its own quirks, however for the most part, I do not feel like we would be able to have the entire enterprise switch to a platform such as Google, as folks are so used to using Microsoft.
  • Microsoft Teams is my favorite online communication tool because it allows for customization within the channels and is a great way to quickly communicate across the entire organization and get everyone out of their inboxes.
  • Connectivity - I enjoy the phone application options for the productivity products. Having Teams and Outlook on my phone means I'm able to quickly reply to messages when I've stepped away from my desk.
  • Security - there are a lot of security options that Microsoft 365 offers and I feel as though our IT department has incorporated these features and my entire account is secure.
  • Sharing with OneDrive can be confusing for people that haven't used online file systems before. Sometimes they don't know where the file went and have a hard time determining if it was saved online or if it was saved on their pc.
  • Phone apps could be customized further - for example; turning off notifications when you're out of the office
  • Fix the image problems with Word. It's very difficult to move photos around without the entire page rotating. This has been a known problem forever.
  • Show image previews for mp4s in Teams
  • Be able to group different threads within a channel in Teams
If a colleague asked me if I preferred Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, I'd say Google Workspace. However, it depends on the colleague's future use of the product for which I'd recommend. If it's a smaller business with younger employees, I'd recommend Google. If it's a larger company with a wide age range of employees, I'd recommend Microsoft 365.

In the finance department, I mainly use Excel in the Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] package. Its data functions and features are particularly helpful. We have to allocate payroll expenses across numerous departments, grants, and programs, and Excel allows me to efficiently reformat data from our payroll system for monthly analysis. I also find the mail merge in Word helpful when we have to send out sometimes hundreds of letters at once.
  • Helpful data analysis tools
  • Easy to use with proper experience
  • Excel more powerful than Google Sheets
  • Not as intuitive/user friendly as Google Sheets, Docs, etc.
Microsoft [365 (formerly Office 365)] is well suited for organizations or individuals who require more advanced data analysis tools than Google Sheets, Docs, etc. offers. For those requiring less advanced data functions and features, Google is a better alternative.

We are a Microsoft school, so this is the officially supported office solution for the entire organization. We use it for email, calendaring, word processing, spreadsheets, file sharing, and collaboration. I think the main thing that the Microsoft 365 version of office does is to help figure out file sharing and collaboration. For this purpose, it is very good.
  • Word Processing
  • File Sharing
  • Calendaring
  • Linux Support
  • Finer points of file sharing
  • Email
I tried resisting Microsoft and Office for a few years. I used Ubuntu Linux for my desktop and other open source solutions which do the same things that Microsoft 365 does. The problem is that when everyone else at the organization uses Microsoft 365, my workflow and productivity took a serious hit. I finally gave up and installed windows and Microsoft 365. Having the apps installed and running right on the desktop (instead of trying to use the cloud versions) makes file sharing and collaboration with colleagues much easier.

Several apps from [Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)] have being used by my organization. For presentations or procedures, we use Powerpoint. For reports, we use Word. For communications and calls/meetings, we use Teams. For emails & calendar, we use Outlook. All individual data which is not saved on servers, is being saved on OneDrive in case of a machine failure. For calculation sheets, we use Excel.
  • It is intuitive and user friendly
  • It is constantly improving to add new features
  • The Microsoft suite package has a software for any general need in an organization.
  • In Teams, it is currently not possible to change the channel's privacy from private to public. This is definitely a big challenge for us to work around.
  • In Teams, the video settings such as background photo can only be changed while inside a meeting. This does not make much sense since you need to have a suitable video set up before entering a meeting.
There is no way around not using Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] if you are using a windows computer. The package has almost every software required for an organization. It is secure and intuitive with frequent updates to improve even further. It is great value for the price, and you are certain the generated files are compatible when sharing them with other organizations.

We use Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] to manage most of the collaboration and communication within our university. We use it for e-mail, calendar, chat and communication, and documents (and sharing of documents). It helps bring all of our communication and documentation into a single location, easily shared throughout our organization and teams.
  • Covers many needs in one central place
  • Sharing
  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Sometimes the design can be confusing
  • Notifications in the Teams app are non-native on the Mac, so they are annoying and hard to control
I would say Microsoft 365 [(formerly Office 365)] is well suited for any organization or team, but specifically for larger organizations. Smaller teams may not need such a wide selection of applications. But an organization looking for a solution that includes everything needed for document creation and collaboration tools will find pretty much everything they need in Microsoft 365.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is being used in our company for different projects--from Microsoft Office to PowerPoint for presentations. We really enjoy the added features, especially the Teams app, which lets us direct message an individual or a group. The calendar feature is very helpful. Cortana will be your best friend! It is a tool that sends you reminders if there is something that is detected that you may have missed.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) gives us a lot of advantages in our daily business life; it contributes a lot in terms of both time and efficiency. The advantages it provides you against the annual cost are many. It can be preferred even for only OneDrive's 1 TB of storage space. My colleagues love it! The entire organization is using Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) right now. It offers a lot more flexibility than hosting on-premise in Exchange. The biggest benefit is not having to worry about hosting the data on your own storage. We also benefit a lot from getting constant updates and improvements through Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). Getting the constant evolution of the products in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) allows us to take advantage of the latest features without having to buy new licenses to get new features like static products.
  • Managing user mailboxes and policies is very simple in the Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) environment.
  • Accessibility from anywhere is extremely useful since all anyone needs is an internet connection.
  • The account security features are easy to set up and they work very well. We have MFA turned on for everyone, and that gives a great peace of mind that accounts are that much more difficult to hack.
  • The various modules are a bit fragmented. They have features that switch to different modules, and occasional rebranding can sometimes cause brief confusion.
  • When releasing newer versions of things, sometimes the feature set of the old version is not completely covered. This is kind of a thing with other Microsoft products though like with Windows 10 and the Control Panel versus the Settings app.
  • Microsoft sometimes releases what feels like half baked solutions for things. My example is for Teams, but it still can tie into Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). Planner is a decent solution for managing projects, but the functionality is quite bare bones. Additionally, the Approvals app for Teams is missing some key features like email reminders that Approvals in Power Automate does have. Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) might still develop these further, but it's not a sure thing.
  • While we do enjoy getting the latest features and benefitting from having everything hosted by Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), this can also lead to issues caused by updates they push out. However, these are very rarely mass outages. It's just worth noting, but it's still a very reliable platform.
I feel that Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) can scale to any size of business. They have licensing options for all sizes from small businesses all the way up to large corporations. If anyone wants to use Office applications and needs an email system, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is the best platform out there right now. This is especially true when you factor in all of the features it offers. Even if there is a company with a very small number of people (5 or less), the collaborative features and email platform with the admin management capabilities rival alternatives.

We're using Microsoft 365 across our entire organization. It's enabled us to eliminate the use of Citrix to run Office for remote users.
  • Access files from any location.
  • Everyone is running the same version of Microsoft 365 at all times.
  • Users can run Microsoft 365 apps on their desktops or within a browser.
  • The flexibility for users to perform a task in multiple ways can be confusing for some.
  • Teams file functionality needs to be enhanced.
Microsoft 365 is great for remote users having access to all the apps not only on their desktops but online. The ability to log in to portal.office.com has been a tremendous help.
