  • The switch from AX on Prem to D365 F&O cloud has been costly.
  • ROI has not been realized yet and maintenance costs have whittled away at the budget.
  • Other projects are shelved until we get the system fully tuned to our business.

  • API integrations have saved manual entry and reduced having to hire 2-3 people to manage data.
  • Several administrators and developers are required for this which costs about 200-300 thousand in employee costs.

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX helped us to get data faster then with our old ERP
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX's ability on getting reports might need to improve

  • Automated art approvals - We were able to save the company thousands of dollars a year by eliminating an employee to send art approvals out. Not only eliminate an employee but are now able to send thousands more emails at a time.
  • With AX our agents are able to see exactly where an order is in the building. Our process flow is extremely strong with AX on our side.

  • All of my clients have realized greater ROI than originally anticipated following go live and truly learning how powerful Dynamics AX can be.
  • All of my clients expended far more on their respective AX implementations and appreciated my advice to set aside contingency funds. In most cases it was the client who introduced additional scope in the middle of the implementation.

  • Customization capabilities are a bonus as AX is very moldable. Milestone billing leveraged to include fixed assets help the rental industry in particular.
  • Service based companies on the whole benefit hugely from the projects module and its ability to allocate resources that are wasted with less comprehensive systems.
