  • Management of mailboxes is done very well in Exchange Online in Microsoft 365.
  • Security and compliance feature has many application which help to keep your organization secure and compliant.
  • Teams and SharePoint is wonderful tool for collaboration.
  • Microsoft 365 really needs to work on protection part. In complex environment it is not reliable as compared to its competitors like Proofpoint. There are many instances where it fails to perform effectively.
  • In SharePoint Online the versioning feature of the document needs to be improved by Microsoft. Sometimes when we have to roll back to the previous version it does not work as expected.
  • In Teams messaging and app permission policies can be improved. There are some settings where we have to add a lot of things manually.

  • Online edition of documents by many users at the same time.
  • All applications automatically save changes to One Drive.
  • Outlook is great to schedule and arrange meetings and keep calendar tasks.
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint are excellent tools that allow to produce great documents.
  • Enhance Junk Mail rules for Outlook.
  • Occasionally, there are some delays between saving a document on One Drive and being able to see the changes locally.

  • Access your documents and be able to edit from anywhere you can get online.
  • Ability to create one thing and use it in multiple places, e.g. create a spreadsheet and use it as a table.
  • [Integrated] spell-check [and others] to make it seem I'm smarter than I am.
  • [Online] limitations - so I can't use it everywhere.
  • Not the most intuitive to use - unless you've had a lot of experience, it's not easy to figure out how to do things. Need to know a lot of vocabulary to be able to use the help feature to find out the steps needed.
  • Slight differences between platforms can be annoying.

  • Onedrive is a software specially indicated to take advantage of cloud services in a company. It is definitely a must-have software.
  • Microsoft SharePoint is part of this great ecosystem, which provides a corporation with a much-needed common space.
  • Sometimes we have found synchronization errors in Onedrive

  • Brand recognition (who hasn't heard of Microsoft?)
  • Word and Excel are the industry standard by far
  • Microsoft skills learned with one organization are very portable
  • Secure/Encrypted emails between two Microsoft 365 tenants are often problematic for us
  • I often wish they'd focus on fewer things and do them better than trying to be everything to everyone

  • keeps me extremely organized. It is so easy to link calendars, emails, and documents.
  • keeps me well connected. It is so easy to send a quick message on teams or send an email to a group (for example, my particular team within the company).
  • easy to use. Everything is straightforward, making it easy to find an answer to a question. There is even a search option to figure out how to do something within Microsoft.
  • Sometimes, when I try to attach a document to an email, it says it doesn't exist. I only know how to fix this by resaving the document. It is frustrating since the document obviously does exist.
  • My email freezes sometimes when I try to send an email to a lot of people. This is also frustrating because I have to reset my whole work computer.
  • Important emails keep going into [the] trash, even though I have emailed a lot with the sender. I sent an urgent email, got a response, and didn't notice for 4 hours because it was in my trash. It made the urgent matter much more stressful.

  • Excel is an excellent spreadsheet that can handle challenging inputs and formulas.
  • Word has always been my go-to for creating complex documents where formatting makes sense.
  • The publisher makes simple graphic design easy with intuitive formats that can be easily learned.
  • I wish it was a little simpler to integrate things from one Microsoft Feature into another one. Perhaps I just don't know the tricks for that yet...after all these years of using it.
  • I didn't like how it defaulted to saving the document automatically with changes, like Google Docs, but it seems that has now changed, and is better now.
  • Generally, I really like how the suite works as is.

  • Microsoft 365 makes managing user mailboxes and policies a breeze, and its spreadsheets helped us organize our maintenance work.
  • Microsoft 365 makes it simple to draft letters and memos, and the account security features work well.
  • Our data is presented in a beautiful slideshow that integrates seamlessly with the rest of our Windows PCs and seamlessly integrates with word.
  • Some applications are bulky, and communication between office and non-office applications is always desired.
  • Relatively little has changed at work. Incorporating a Python scripting tool with Excel could be helpful as most people want to add custom code.
  • There is a problem with licensing clarity and the constant shifting of where things are, hiding existing functions in new locations.

  • Some of the advanced features can be hard to access or find
  • Spacing of text in Word can be tricky. Won't let you edit.
  • In Outlook; labeling a spam email as "junk" does not stop the sender from sending. Fills up the junk folder.

  • Emails/Calendar organize your emails, color coat them, turn them into tasks with follow-up dates, etc. Outlook calendar is life.
  • Being able to access your files online is very useful for live editing and sharing thoughts with teammates who may be across the ocean similar to Google Docs.
  • Interoperability between teams and OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Specifically on Teams, while video calling you should be able to draw on the shared screen like Zoom. Not a whiteboard, just a live drawing over the screen.
  • We have noticed that Sharepoint has a max capacity so every so often we need to clear out our old presentations and stuff to make room for the new ones. The process to do this could be inside of teams themselves rather than going to a web browser.
  • PowerPoint in both the browser app and the installed app - wish you could crop and resize images AND THEN re-link an updated image and it would save your cropping/resizing like in Adobe InDesign.
  • Wish the "Categories" you can assign in Outlook emails (which include color coatings) would show up in the phone app.
  • Wish the "Categories" you can assign in Outlook emails (which include color coatings) could have unlimited color selections and custom hotkey binds.

  • Makes it easy to use email.
  • Create complicated spreadsheets easily.
  • Coordinate word documents among employees easily.
  • My number 1 complaint is that on Excel it would be nice to be able to add and/or replace certain number formats to the ribbon.
  • On Outlook it should be easier to add/subtract people from the auto-fill when sending emails.
  • The paragraph settings on word can be improved.
