We have never had to use the support for Yammer. The tool works well and we have not come across any bugs. User Interface is simple and easy to use, similar to other forum type products, thereby removing the need for any extensive training. Team members are invited in and immediately are able to start using the tool.

I’ve never needed any additional support from Yammer. We’ve yet to run into any issues with it, so I think an 8 is very fair based on the assistance that has been provided to us with Microsoft Yammer in the past. Please keep up the great work with the product!

Since acquiring Yammer, Microsoft has made only a modest investment into the evolution of the product. While the service has been 100% reliable for us - across not just our small company community, but also across much larger Microsoft networks in which I participate - the UX is stagnant. Aside from adding GIFs to the platform a couple years ago, almost nothing has changed.

Yammer took several months to successfully implement on the communications team and a few more months after that to get a sampling of employees on the site. It wasn't an easy process explaining to leadership why they should be on another mode of communication or to career employees how Yammer is used differently than email.

As with all Microsoft products, support is a double edged sword. Because of the size of Microsoft, the number of customers they cover, and the fact they have business and consumer clients, there is often a lot of layers between you and the support team. That being said, there is also a deep well of online knowledge in the many different communities and websites, so self help is fairly easy.

As always with Microsoft products, the support is good if you have the right person to talk to. So make sure you get to talk to the right person. There are customer supported forums also that can be of great help.

I have never asked for support for this product. Never had anything go wrong! The survey won’t let me continue unless I write more but I have nothing to say about support for Yammer because I have never used it. I also had to provide a rating but it should be NA, not a score.
