My staff accountant manually altered the leave hours accrual by mistake. I had to contact MIP Customer Service to correct the issue. The MIP Representative open up a case and her supervisor followed up with a solution. He walked me through the process of fixing each employee's accrual hours. When corrections were finished, all the accruals were corrected and ready to process staff payroll.

Last year we contacted Community Brands with an issue in our payroll module and it was critical that this issue be rectified urgently, due to the fact that payroll was due in a couple of days. I'm please to say that within a hour a case number was sent to us detailing our issue and was subsequently solved and we were able to meet our payroll needs on time. There was also a follow up to ensure that all aspects of the reported issues were rectified.

The closest I can think of is while looking around in the software, I discovered the we have the ability to make graphs with our reports that are already built into the software. We don't need to use Excel unless we want to make additional updates to already existing data. Community Brands doesn't assume that we all want to use Excel initially, but gives us the option to use MIP instead. That's exceptional support to me!

I wanted a shortcut to entering our payroll which use to take at least an hour not it take 3-5 min. The created a short cut that is easy to use and save a ton of time for me. I am very happy for the help.

We were having serious issues with the cloud and constantly being kicked out of it (it still happens, just not as often). A ticket was opened and they were really attentive to the problem. While I consider the problem more of a cloud hosting thing and the fact that so many people are moving to the cloud, but that did not stop them from contacting me regularly and making sure we were able to use the product.

We had a TERRIBLE issue during (of course) payroll processing and no one here had any idea how to fix it. The first person we talked to at Community Brands didn't know either, but the call was escalated to a more seasoned tech. He knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it for us, right then and there.

We got exceptional support when we had the dedicated consultant, Pam Kennemore, under Sage. Now, we are just a number is the cue for help with our particular issue at the time. It's a great software, so there are not many issues. However, when an issue arises, I feel that we are just a number in the cue, then on to the next issue. There is no personal feeling of belonging to a group, as when the software was owned by MIP. There are no free user group networking for discussions and helpful tips. There no annual user workshops. Now, just pay your renewal and buy more modules.

There was a time when we had some turn over in our department and we needed help with getting the updated forms for the 1099 misc form vendors. We only had til the end of January and we needed this information very quickly. I remember the support team walking me through the process and even doing a remote screen so they could see what the issue was. We needed an upgrade and he walked us through the process step by step. It took sometime due to our servers and internet speed at that time but he was very patient and stayed with me the whole time.

Each year, creating 1099's are a difficult hurdle for our environment. It's complex and utilizes some of Microsoft's enterprise level products. Last year's (2017) 1099's were especially difficult, however, once technical support was called and our environment explained with the assistance of our internal IT department we were able to resolve the issue. The 1099's were printed without any data loss or requirement to start over.

The only complaint I have is regarding the down time due to a security breach. We were without MIP for several weeks while the cloud version was being fixed. this created a great hardship for our company. Since that time however it has been working great and have not experienced any other issues.

During one of our earlier years of using MIP Fund Accounting, we had an issue during an upgrade. The support staff went out of their way to help us resolve the issue and get us back up and running in a very timely manner. This happened during an upgrade that we had to make during a peak time of the year.
