We have not used any training resources to date. However, we are planning to do so in the near future. We are planning to have more users added to the system and this requires them to have the necessary training along with the currents users in order to enhance the use and experience of this product.

I've used View Help, the Customer Community, MIP Website and What's New for various updates, tips, and resources. I've learned things that I wasn't taught initially. It helped me get a better understanding of my position at the company and nonprofit accounting in general.

The Knowledge Base is helpful and the Community Brands MIP Fund Accounting Discussion group is a great place to learn from others who are using the system. I've learned more from discussion group and I try to participate and help others with questions they have.

I have used some of the free training they have provided, but I like going in there and checking out the white papers available. I am not sure if it enhanced my use of the program, but I definitely have learned some things outside of the software itself for our non-profit. There is so much information available.

I highly value the Gold Support we purchased as an add-on. We can email tech support and receive a response within minutes. Definitely worth the price!

We have participated in web based training classes on a particular topic and they were extremely helpful. The staff at Community Brands is extremely knowledgeable. We also continue to use them for technical support when we have an issue that we can't resolve. The training classes have helped to expand the knowledge of some staff that did not have the benefit of training from the initial implementation.

We renew our product annually, with the annual updates, in recent years, there are always some quirks! Our IT department, usually gets on a call to support to work out issues. Sometimes, we have to wait on a call back from Abilia support. Often, its not at a convenient time for both myself and our contract IT person, to meet at the same time.

We had several trainings over the phone with Jo mostly because of IMPORTS and REPORTS. These were a huge hiccup. We had to create our reports and not being familiar with the system we had to explain to Jo what we wanted to see and then she would tell us where to go and what to add to the content or filter. Import was difficult because of the definition files and it was definitely something you couldn't do without a trainer. The Def codes don't match the same wording as the modules us so for example player id would be vendor id so it was a struggle for us. We also attended an in person meeting with the CHCA in Little Rock where the trainer was Jo again and we went into some further details as to vendor maintenance and AR.
