Directly, only the Finance Department uses our MIP software. Although the other departments show varying interest and involvement in terms of creating and analyzing our organization's financial reports. This is another aspect of integration into our business protocols where I thought there could well be improvement in terms of how we used this product.

Our staff consists of: Accounting Clerk- handles basic billing and supplies 2 Staff Accountants- ensure that funds balance and generate reports for our managers Controller- Oversees all funds and accounts Benefits Coordinator- tracks and maintains employee benefits Payroll Clerk- generates payroll and submits retirement and tax forms Accounts Payable Clerk- pays all bills and purchases submitted by staff Director of Finance- oversees all accounting staff and files goverment forms and ensures we follow all regulations

HR and Payroll - 3 individuals including time tracking, benefits tracking, reconciliation of employee benefit programs and payroll, quarterly and year end reporting, tracking employee anniversaries and birthdays, general recognition and interface with annual evaluation tools.

Accounting Manager, Accounting Clerk and CFO - all accounting functions from deposits, miscellaneous billing, recording and payment of all bills, cash reconciliation, monthly and annual reporting.

Accounting, and bookkeeping are the the essential functions. accountability is great with this software and being a union that is audited multiple times a year, this software is really helpful. having the ability to create checks in a few minutes comes very handy.

- Accounts department actually enter all the payables, checks, and post receivables from Empower student information system to MIP.
- Human Resources creates the salaries on MIP and enters the Adjustments every fortnight after the verification of Accounts.
- Purchase Department verify the asset management and posting from Microix to MIP.

Accounting, finance and development. This program does not bridge with our fundraising software so we have to input all cash receipts and pledges twice and then reconcile the detail. The accounts payable function is rudimentary and difficult to use. We had to teach ourselves how to use it since the manual is non existent and the Help function does not explain adequately.

The executive director and the fiscal bookkeeper.
The executive director makes business decisions from the reporting and the fiscal bookkeeper does all the actual accounting functions and government reporting. The fiscal bookeeper prepares reports for the executive director and board of directors.
