My company has half of all employees being under 1 year tenure. They do not have employees well versed in Abila and will not pay for training which makes it extremely hard to learn and use. We use it for AP & AR as well as payroll but the HR function is not being used. The system seems hard to use but maybe with more training it would make more sense and be easier however my company refuses to pay for training.

We use Abila for Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Budget, Invoicing (AR), and reporting. Myself and one other are the primary users and our Executive Director is an intermittent user for contingency purposes (at one time she was the Accounting Manager). It does a good job with all the features we use. Good, but not great.

We use MIP Fund Accounting for our home office finances and for the finances of the missionaries we service around the world. We use the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Budget and Payroll modules.

MIP Fund Accounting is the sole accounting system utilized for our organization. We use it to track the funding sources for our whole organization. The Accounts Payable, Budgeting, and Payroll modules were purchased from the prior management when starting with MIP Fund Accounting. We recently purchased the Accounts Receivable module, but have not yet implemented it.

We use MIP Fund Accounting to account for our foundation. It is only used in the foundation and not the entire university. The business problem it addresses is managing accounts for our more than 400 endowments. Without this software, they would be impossible to track.

MIP Fund Accounting is currently being used by our Finance and Accounting department as our accounting software. We use it for our production department services as well. This software is used daily to record our transactions. All of our normal daily payments incoming and outgoing are entered.

Our nonprofit uses MIP as our accounting system, to enter accounts payable, pay bills, keep track of all revenue, and balance the cash accounts. It gives us the ability to easily allocate expenses across programs, and to assign a grant to a particular program. This way it tracks revenue and expenses for several programs at once. We use the reports to help with monthly board reporting, and to look up historical data.

We use MIP for our accounting needs--using entities, departments, funds, and programs.
It allows us to keep track of details for the various entities and elements within. We can track items down to the program level. We are able to define finance details for one part or the whole of the organization.

We use MIP in our accounting department, for budgeting, purchase orders, accounts payable, and cash receipts. It allows us to effectively track our monthly expenses through the customizable reports we are able to generate. There are also features in MIP that have helped us strengthen our audit compliance.

HRDC uses MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) across the whole organization. We have management contracts with five other organizations, each as a separate entity. We are able to keep all financials separate and manage the accounting very effectively.

As a user of MIP Funding Accounting (formerly Abila MIP), I can speak to the use on the front end of the system. I currently use MIP Funding Accounting integrated with Microix to process support services we provide for participants in our workforce development programs. We remove barriers to employment by purchasing work-related clothing, gear, and other items. The system is used across the whole organization.

It is used by accounting to handle AP, AR, Payroll, etc. It is restricted only to our department and not used across the whole organization. It is tremendous at handling our fund accounting setup. The customer service is top notch and I've never had a problem that could not be solved by a quick online chat. The reporting and features fill our accounting needs perfectly.

MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) is used for our financial reporting for the whole organization and one subsidiary organization. We track and report by department, program, grant, and fund (restricted vs unrestricted). We use detailed activity reports for grant invoicing. Separating by fund allows us to better track grants according to restriction and solve previous issues with revenue recognition.

We used MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) to keep proper records of our general ledger across the whole organization. We use it to allocate income and expenses across our various departments, programs, and grants. This level of detail helps us with the monthly billing processes, and allows us to have a better understanding of fund we have used/funds remaining for particular grants/accounts. We primarily use MIP Fund Accounting (formerly Abila MIP) for the Basic Transactions (mainly: Journal Vouchers, Cash Disbursements, and Cash Receipts) and Accounts Payable modules. We currently do not use it for Accounts Receivable. We use the Reports feature regularly to analyze our financial data.

We use MIP Fund Accounting in our accounting department to keep up with our AP and to allocate between programs. There are a lot of neat features that are big timesavers and keep us organized. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who is looking for assistance with organization in their business.

We currently use MIP Fund Accounting for the entire organization. We are spread across multiple offices in different locations, but we only use it in our HQ. Other organizations have their field teams use QuickBooks in field offices, but we have those teams send us Excel files so that we can import their information into the system. We use MIP for all data entry and reporting. We use the budgeting module, but only to check this exercise off the list every year. We use our own Excel spreadsheets to actively manage budget-to-actuals. We also use the multicurrency function. I really like we can report based on different dimensions.

MIP Fund Accounting allows us to manage our diversified business lines across locations. By using the financial reporting functionality, we customize reporting that is viewed by the Board of Directors and C-Level Executives. In addition, customized reports are created for business line managers allowing them to focus on their individualized operations.

We use MIP Fund Accounting to establish our general ledger and chart of accounts. In a broad scope, we are using this as a whole organization, yet specifically the finance department uses it. It addresses the business problem of ensuring that every purchase, transaction, expense, etc. is accounted for and bucketed into the most accurate department and team.

Accounting primarily, monitoring employee and grant productivity. Agency-wide. Braided funding, accounting primarily for regulatory bodies and audits. MIP allows me to see expenses across categories, As I stated, I would spend funds according to HRSA, SMHSA, state, and other funding requirements. Categorical and aggregate data is available for end-users.

We use MIP Fund Accounting in our Finance and Administration department only. It allows us to run our department efficiently. Provides us with the tools we need for everyday accounting duties. Creating budgets, deposits, A/R and A/P transactions etc. We have very few complaints or issues with the system.
