Miro opened up a completely new way for us to concept, build and design learning programs where collaboration in a small group is key for all users. We often build individual boards for groups of 4 to 5 people.

After I recommended it to our organization, it has become everyone's favorite tool. We now very easily share our boards and collaborate and don't need to worry about any lag or delay when we are on a project. And since it integrates really well with AWS, we can easily manage our projects, too.

I have never used anything like Miro before. Its an amazing tool. I use it all the time. I have also recommended it to other colleageus and all of them love this tool. I use it to capture user research and analyse notes with colleagus in realtime which is a great way to collaborate. I really love being in those sessions.

It’s become a default go to for us. The level of features and control is really impressive. The only wish I have is for tools to keep boards and projects more organised - this is because it is so easy to use, a lot of content can be created by many people. It’s an essential tool for our business.

Miro is well suited for drafting up wireframes but is not appropriate for creating polished UI

Miro is great for creating one page documents but is not suited for lengthy text documents

Miro is great for bulk assessment of existing Jira tickets but is less appropriate for creating Jira tickets

- Bringing the international team together to solve a problem together
- Collating information in a digital format where previously it would have been manual and created a whole heap more manual work to share
- Speeds us up - i.e. having Retro's all in one place, makes it easy to copy for a new one and look back on previous discussions

Miro is very versatile and it is one of my most favorite business tools. It is:
Great for workshopping
Great for creating visual artifacts
Great for dumping your ideas
Great for brainstorming

Simply put, it serves so many use cases!
They have even added some new cutting-edge features like Miro Assist, where AI generates a summary of a bunch of stickies.

Great for team collaboration across timezones and locations. Can be used to get work done, do connection activities, presentations, and ideate for graphic design work.

I use it to do the first round of brain storming and mocking up graphic designs. It's so quick and flexible. You have colours, basic shapes and icons available to put together ideas.

I have used a number of different collaboration tools, eg. jam board, Jira whiteboard, Confluence whiteboard, etc but Miro is easily the best collaboration tool. I use it daily in all types of interactions, workshops, brainstorms, mindmaps, planning, one on ones, etc. It is honestly brilliant.

We find it works well for any place you might want to draw a flowchart. We've had great success with brainstorming sessions that might have been done with post-its on a wall in the office. We use it to document our sprint retros. It's not a powerpoint...but it's excellent at communicating visually when you want to encourage collaboration into a visualization. We've also used it to lay out and design schedules for events. Or explore several options simultaneously for discussion. I also like it's voting, polling, timers and commenting functions

Provided in examples. Good for collaboration where you want ideas and then voting to find top x. Good for simple kanban board. Many templates that can be leveraged as starting point. Controlling sizing of items is not superior when multiple people creating on same board.

Miro's online library makes starting with thousands of templates easy. Ensuring that Miro is as easy to use as possible makes it simple yet powerful. For experienced users, you can create mighty boards and tools that allow power users the most ideal experience. For new users, it's easy to onboard and understand and learn and become a power user more easily.

Miro is fantastic when it comes to multiple people dropping information in one space and sorting it, organising it, and visualising it in a better way. It also works great to then transform that into something that can be presented.

While it can be great to put things together, it's not as good to keep that as a living document. Often projects reach a complexity where changes to a board mean a lot of manual work to move things around and back into place that it becomes cumbersome.

Miro is used by our organisation to map out processes and brainstorm during workshops and meetings. It was also started to become used to house these process for the wider business to view.
I would like to see more of my business use the tool as the goto for sketching out ideas visually instead of having wordy conversations.

Pros: It's a great substitute for a physical whiteboard. It's a powerful easy to use tool providing everyone to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment. Works great as a project planning tool.
Cons: UI is not as pretty. Integrations with Asana could be better. Again price is an issue.

I think Miro is a great tool for in-house collaboration, by starting a board or a folder at the beginning of the project and building it throughout the project's live span, Miro makes it easier to track particular steps that were taken, sources, give comment on other's work and discuss feedback. I also really appreciate how intuitive and simple it is to use. I recommend using Miro to all of my colleagues on a regular basis. One of my favourite features is that now our company identity (font and brand colors) are embedded, so all the materials, even drafts and work-in-progress looks consistent and very representative.

We use it exclusively as a teaching tool. Over the course of years using the tool (going back to when it was known as RealTimeBoard) we know that we are only scratching the surface of what Miro can do. That said, the ease of use and lack of unique logins is what makes it so valuable for us since our instructors and student users are not going to be experts.

It's incredibly useful in a classroom setting, where students and professors can quickly view each other's work. It also eases collaboration between partners in group projects, allowing all parties to quickly view, critique, and comment on others work.
At the same time, it's also difficult to use in this setting as sometimes large files aren't accepted. Also, as the semester continues and the page becomes heavier, it can be very slow to navigate.
