Monday.com is Cillessen & Sons, Inc. document hub for contracts, plans, change orders, ammendments, etc. It is also our source for consumable materials needed for pavement marking projects, is our hub for knowing upcoming projects to better schedule our crews, and acts as a virtual check list for our traffic control bosses to know phasing on specific jobs. Lastly our estimators use is as a progress tracker for bids that needs to go out, need or have been reviewed, won bids, and contractor with whom we won those bids.

monday.com is well suited for status updates, document storage, and gantry charts. I would not use it for scheduling crew members or automated reminders of dates because a lot of that set up is manual. Date reminders can't be set to be annual either with a date that was originally in the past - specifically for employment anniversaries. Overall for my company's use in construction it is a great program!

monday.com is very useful as it's a tool to be organized with my work, control the deadlines, control the tasks, cooperate with teammates and see the updates very quickly, also monitor if the person seen the update that you made for them. Being able to have different boards gives me an opportunity to have very organized work tasks or any date that I need to have on the platform. it is very useful to have every record of the communication of the email, the monday.com pulse tool is very useful and innovative.

We use Monday.com as a project management tool for campaign builds and client requests. It is an excellent to tool to things organized and the team on track. It provides accountability, a paper trail for client requests and allows the team to seamlessly manage their workload. I absolutely love the automation features of this product as it will send you a reminder if you have an open ticket with a due date in the future. Excellent project management tool.

We use this as a project management tool with a digital marketing agency. We have different boards for different tactics like Paid Search, Social and Display. The account management team is able to submit tickets that need to be worked and the operations / analyst team is able to pick those up and seamlessly work through them.

We have tried to use this an account management/CRM but it that's not what it's built for so it fell short.

I am as a consultant and lead developer, using monday.com to manage clients, projects, and employee data. Also managing employee data with monday.com. Even Overall task assigning, time tracking, Performance report creation, and many more managements are done with monday.com. We have 20+ clients who use monday.com in their businesses. We integrate multiple apps like Slack, Quickbooks, GHL and many others with monday.com on the basis of client requirements. It's amazing tool for team to manage work efficiently.
  • I like summary of subitems, especially with subitasks as subitems and add item tracking for each subtask it can show total tracked in parent item. Similar with other columns, like numbers, status, date.
  • Dashboard features, Many kinds of dashboard view available, we can utilize on the basis of requirements.
  • monday.com workform is very powerful, easily share form link when submitted it will create line item in board with provided data.
  • monday.com automation is very helpful in order to automate steps with specific rules and easy setup.
  • monday.com also provides integrations in order to automate processes if need to integrate multiple app together. or need to transfer data between multiple apps.
  • monday.com has a formula facility to perform calculations, but formulas can not be use in automation, I found this is a deficiency. Still I utilize by using 3rd party tool like make.com, it would be best if formula can be improve in monday.com.
  • Timetracking is also a powerful concept in monday.com, but it will not allow entry by api with write access on timetracking column. If possible to update timetracing by api. It would be more helpful. In order to transfer tracking from other platform like quickbook, etc.
  • I like monday.com doc most to create good notes and KPIs. API doesn't allow to download monday.com doc file. This really I am expecting as this is the need of many clients.
Here, I will suggest that it is best to create employees, clients, or project reports. Easy to track with the dashboards. I did many integrations and developments. I can not list each of them here. I will say the best tool for management. I couldn't see criteria of unsuitable. But yes It will depend on the client's requirements. I will suggest it as very user-friendly tool for CEOs, CTOs, Managers, and company owners also for team.

It allows us to stay organized and we use it for scheduling and production purposes. We use it for task management and also for recording production times and setup times for production setups. This allows us to know how long a job takes and also how long the setup for a job takes, this is very valuable information for us.

Its good for scheduling purposes and also allows for different production teams to use monday.com to manage their busy work schedules and also production needs. They can create boards to track rejects, production requirements and workflow charts. monday.com is used throughout the various departments to help keep track of information. It has been very helpful in organizing tasks and conveying statuses of those tasks to multiple stakeholders across the organization. This includes using it to help organize and track large projects. Recently we have started to use it to create product roadmaps. The different views available on a board and the ability to link boards together help solve use cases for multiple users of this information.

We use monday.com to organize our marketing tasks and to work with our sales team to create account based marketing outreach strategies. What monday.com allows us to do is to individually keep a task list of what needs to get done week over week and to have a full scope of larger projects that we want to get done.
  • Set stages for each task and assign people to those stages to move projects along
  • Set up automated tasks to get assigned to people and to send out notifications to Slack as well as emails to contractors to work on a project
  • Create multiple boards for projects and the ability to review tasks by date to make sure no project slips through the cracks
  • The desktop app for Mac seems to have a few issues with visual glitches appearing on screen, it only seems to go away when I close the tool and reopen it
  • Subtasks don't show on the individual users to-do list, only main level tasks
Prior to monday.com, we were using Trello as our team task management tool. What monday.com has allowed us to do is to easily create sub levels to tasks, create multiple stages for each task and to easily assign people to different tasks in a way that is visually appealing and easy to understand.

At my company, we each have multiple projects to handle at one time, and all of these require collaboration. monday.com has allowed our team to prioritize our tasks both individually and as a whole. On top of that, we can subcategorize our tasks, which allows for an extensive amount of organization that was harder to come by before. It is easy to communicate directly & indirectly to the team by using monday.com to organize our projects.
  • It is so refreshing to be able to prioritize tasks and projects per person. This allows us to determine how much time is needed for a project on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • The subcategories for the tasks are amazing - I can't say enough about that.
  • Being able to leave comments on the projects so that everyone else on the team can remain on the same page is such an upside to using monday.com.
  • Maybe I have not tapped in to monday.com enough quite yet, but I truly have not come across anything that would fit in this category. I have found monday.com to be easy to use & extremely efficient.
monday.com is will suited for our company because of the organization that we can have with all of our projects. This helps us know how to delegate time & tasks, and where we might need some additional information to keep a project rolling.

I use monday.com as a project management tool for our team members to stay in touch on a specific project. We all work remotely so this really helps us all stay updated on the progress of the project and collaborate together. Having all the information in one place has been a gamechanger for our organization.

  • It does not track time. We have to use another software solution for that task and it would be nice to have it integrated.
  • We use Salesforce for our CRM and I do not think this integrates together.
monday.com is great for us because we have several remote working teams. We really like how each member can log in and work on a project at the same time. We can edit documents together. This allows all team members to be updated on the project status at all times.

We use monday.com in our Company to track many different things, Including Sales Leads, Production, Reports and much more. monday.com has helped us streamline, and track our orders/sale leads more efficiently.
  • Very user friendly, everyone on our team agrees it is easy to use.
  • Customization options. You can really cater this to work for any company.
  • We are able to use monday.com for ALL of the departments in the company. Controlling who sees what, who is updated when. It's awesome!
  • Honestly we have not ran into anything that this software does not do well. It has been easy to use, and has more features than any other system we have tried.
We have benefitted most from monday.com by using it to track sales leads. Our desks were becoming so cluttered with notes and scattered files before we found this. Monday may not work for situations where you are needing to text/email/schedule customers etc. I am not sure if it has those capabilities?

I use monday.com to track project development from bidding, to billing. I use the CRM, and I also use it for asset acquisition. I track PO's for equipment needs, I track job status, assign crews, and keep historical records for types of projects, revenue, and crew utilization. I did research back in college on PM software, and monday.com was who all of my research pointed to, so when it came to finding a software to assist me in my business' day t- day, its MONDAY every day!

I have however, found that billing/ invoicing, and bidding are still going to be something that I am needing to spend particular attention to. We tried to meet with some developers within the monday.com group and it was more of a "round peg/ square hole" scenario.

I use monday.com every day. When someone gives me a task, I add it to my schedule in monday.com so I will not forget it. I also add descriptions and details for that task so I remember every important detail. It is as simple as that. My colleagues also use this because it is really helpful since we track each other progress via monday.com.

As a designer, I use monday.com software to optimize my work and efficiently manage projects. monday.com helps me in my daily routine. I can create and track production plans. I can store technical specifications of products and components in monday.com. Using tables in the monday.com software has been a fascinating experience for me. As someone who appreciates clear and organized information, tables have become one of my favorite tools within this software.

Within our company, we use the monday.com solution mainly on the ticketing system for reporting malfunctions and suggestions for improving internal systems. That is, mainly as an IT ticketing system. We tested various solutions, but monday.com is exceptional in terms of ease of use, ingenious elements and excellent integration into other products.

We manage Erasmus application by recording the data on our boards. we also track the applications from students and monitor the deadlines, so we don't miss any opportunity and take action timely.

I use monday.com every day in my work, this is the platform that we have integrated in our work over a year now as we found it very helpful and convenient. I am working in the field of information technology, and this is the easiest way to assign tasks and collaborate with teammates, post updates and easily communicate any queries to them in live without any interruptions. the option of the automation, which sends the reminders on email, is very helpful to not overlook and miss anything, so working with monday.com has become very easy and productive.

we use monday.com for different purposes: to assign tasks and give the deadlines, to have an updates and to collaborate with the teammates easily and quickly. the option of the follow-ups and automation notifications gives us opportunity not to overlook and miss anything. it is also very good tool to monitor the tasks and projects, if they're done or not.

monday.com has improved our work flow! During these years that we have been using monday.com, our workflow, organization and internal communication has improved significantly, not only because of the appearance of the boards, but it has meant that we all internally require using this platform to do our work daily.

Likewise, the big problem that monday.com solves is organization and time. These factors are important when having a Marketing Agency or an Audiovisual Production Company where every minute and every task counts; Having a tool that visually organizes all the work and what each person does in a work environment of this style is of great help. Also using it on various devices as an application or website helps a lot to adapt to each user who requires it.

  • Ensuring I have set up a Private board vs public board is not clear - it would be useful to have an additional alert when creating a board as I work with sensitive information. It will eventually be used in a team based environment but while I test the boards, they needs to be private.
  • Time tracking is clumsy, could be easier to record
monday.com has very clear default views that are easy to follow, simple to update and amend. Automations are really easy to set up, but you need a good idea of what you want to do and the order it needs to be done in. The options available on Automations are improving all the time.

Monday helps me manage and track my clients. I primarily use Monday to keep a historical record of optimizations and changes made for my clients. I also keep tabs on the time spent on each client so, this allows me to prioritize better. I'm also collaborating with different teams and love that I can communicate via email or by tagging others in a conversation.

Monday is well suited for project management. I have used Jira and Basecamp in the past and they are either too complicated or lack features. Monday fits right in the middle on ease of use. I enjoy being able to create boards and different tables; however, I would like to see reporting to be like Jira.
