We use monday.com to organise team tasks and to-do lists and team workflows - assigning team members to tasks and and displaying tasks in order of priority. It's a fantastic tool and we've found it to be user-friendly and very intuitive. There are lots of templates to help you hit the ground running for common project-management processes. Very handy. We trialed using the free version and have now purchased. We hope it will help us to add more team members over time with an easy-to-use team interface where we can all see what work needs doing and who is assigned to the tasks.
  • Intuitive layout
  • User-friendly to hit the ground running
  • Assign tasks to team members
Cons
  • I like it as is
We have clients who send request for work [and] with monday.com, we can sort the tasks into different types of tasks, prioritise, then assign team members and progress per task. We have also re-jigged one of the free templates to become a timesheet for work done by each team member and for each client, with a graph which shows which clients need more time per month, etc.

User friendly and attractive!

My company uses DaPulse to organize and collaborate on tasks. It is being used regularly by our creative department and occasionally by our marketing team. The program pulls together our team data in a way that is very visually appealing. It allows us to quickly and easily evaluate where our projects are and where our team needs to spend more time.
  • Team Collaboration - It's easy to add notes, upload files and create follow up tasks within DaPulse.
  • Personal Organization - The ability, for me personally, to add my own tasks is invaluable. I can quickly flip from personal to professional tasks and evaluate what needs my attention most urgently.
  • Accountability - Easily assigning tasks to a new team member, asking for input and ensuring that projects are being completed on time.
Cons
  • Navigation - I wish I could tab through (as in a spreadsheet) to add data.
  • Import Capabilities - Importing from spreadsheets and other organization tools (Trello) could definitely be optimized.
DaPulse is far better than other tools that I've used when it comes to ease of use and appearance. It is very user-friendly and can be used for quick at-a-glance updates. It works well for my personal organization of social media posts, blog ideas, brainstorming, and asset tracking. I have not found it particularly helpful for scheduling my days.

The Monday platform allows my company to keep track of all client information regarding the installation of their Solar PV system. From signing all the way to powering on of the system. We can keep track of every step and use some great features to better manage and communicate information between team member. The platform also helps us keep track of maintenance for both clients and non-clients of solar PV systems. The many features available on Monday allow us to separate and keep track of these maintenance calls in a orderly fashion.
  • Different Boards
  • Available features for making updates
  • Integration
Cons
  • Notifications separated by importance
I feel it is well suited for all the needs that my company desires and wants. Any idea that is thought of we are typically able to implement onto our boards. Monday has a lot of features and options that are availible for use that make this very nice to use.

We use monday.com in many ways. The software is so versatile we can build boards to help in so many areas of the business. For example:
  • We have boards what contain useful information - a point of reference.
  • We track expenses and budget information.
  • We have a board that we use for an approvals process, from the request through each step to completed.
  • The team have other boards that track and record onboarding processes and booking placements.
  • Simple to do lists and follow ups.
We are always creating boards for various purposes.
  • Track Expense payments
  • Follow steps in a process
  • Communication and colaboration with the team
Cons
  • When setting automations it would be good to have AND/OR options
Following a process, when steps are completed and responsibility changes hands, the automation on the board make this a really effective way of working.
Communication and collaboration over an item on a board, having access to all comments in one place makes resolution and decision making much simpler.
Being able to move completed items to a new board means keeping historical records is simple
