Our entire organization uses SharePoint to collaborate as a company and also within each department for collaboration as needed. It eases movement of documents and information between departments and to outside resources as well.

SharePoint has helped consolidate and organize data across the company. By bringing data to a management system it made searching for critical data more efficient and freed up hardware hosting multiple file shares. Also, using it as a single point of coordinating meetings, events, and booking rooms has been extremely useful and reduced frustration among staff.

We used SharePoint (SP) through Office 365 as a primary method of file storage and team collaboration. Using all available apps in SP we tried to maximize feature usage through Planner, Teams, Sway, Flow and others. Some elements were quite valuable, others were lacking in intuitive use. Mostly it was hard to know where things were being stored across apps. If I upload a file in Teams, why couldn't I also easily access it from the Planner page for the same team?

The program is at the core of our business. It is used to house all information related to our ordering systems. It allowed us to create an agnostic information storage pool that we could place in the front end of our choice, which has generally been a custom designed solution.

SharePoint is used by every department in our organization. We use it to store documents and create common places for wiki pages, documents, and custom lists to be edited. The rest of it is used as a central intranet for the organization to share information.

SharePoint was used across the entire organization as a supplement to the intranet. It was also used as a file repository. It helps streamline communications and makes information easier to find, access, and control.

SharePoint Office 365 is used across the organization as a collaboration and data sharing tool. Easy access from anywhere and content management is key to our success of the implementation, plus provided ground to share data securely with external users.

MS SharePoint/SQL is being used to store all of our documents company-wide. We switched to MS Sharepoint from hard copies of everything; this has made things easier as to file as important documents do not get lost and are easy to find at the tip of your fingers.

We use SharePoint to host our company intranet sites as well as to store our documents, both internal and client documents. We also integrate SharePoint and Dynamics CRM so that we can access client documents that are stored in SharePoint from within the CRM.

SharePoint is used across the entire organization corporate wide. Although, I work for the Data Center specifically, SharePoint is used corporately. SharePoint addresses the problem of data sharing. Since there are so many different business units within the company, SharePoint is the best tool to use for data sharing with ease.

MS Sharepoint / SQL is being used by my organization to collaborate, manage and share multiple documents, files and contracts. It is also used heavy by our Customer Care Center for SOP, access to custom user interfaces to specific databases. It addresses the business problem of document management as well as sharing.

Our company uses SharePoint across the whole department for a number of different things. Some departments (and even smaller teams within the department) utilize SharePoint for specific reasons. We use it as a way to shared documents for teams, we use it to organize certain projects, we even use it to to have users see their company stock options. It's a flexible tool and has served us well.

Currently SharePoint is being used across the entire organization. Managing user accounts has become easier. Security and reliability has improved. Technology staff maintenance decreased. Staff is able to work on the same document at the same time and track changes easily. It's user-friendly and easily adaptable.

As an MSP we supported larger enterprises who benefited from Sharepoint use and sharing. Used as an active portal and shared drive. Setting up a knowledge base/FAQ for each different company was time consuming. The slightest error with permissions was the worst.

MS Sharepoint, utilizing SQL as the back end, is used by our organization as a single point for document storage and versioning. It also is used to host workflows and forms. We also use it extensively for hosting internal IT documentation.

MS SharePoint / SQL is used across the whole organization as a portal for resellers and sales people for Managed Print Services. It solves the problem of internalization and localization, providing a consistent user interface and the ability to create dealer/reseller sites without software development.

SharePoint is used across the entire organization, although more heavily by some business units than others. It is utilized in two primary ways, as a shared space and storage architecture, and under a fully branded and customized solution for our Intranet. As a shared space, with nearly 2000 separate sites created, some are fully secured due to sensitive or restricted information being stored, while others serve both small and large teams, and a number of cross-department or corporate-wide purposes for sharing information. These all can range from simple to complex sites, with some being primarily document sharing sites (a clear strength in SharePoint space), and others being more page/list/post driven (most often still with some documents sharing as well). As an intranet, SharePoint 2010 was selected as the platform for a wholesale replacement of a previous internally developed web platform intranet. The new solution leverages the strengths of SharePoint, but presents all users across the enterprise with a dynamic and branded website UX that does not have any look and feel of a typical SharePoint site. We studied some best-in-breed public sites, as well as some other corporate intranet sites, that were all based on SharePoint. In addition, this platform has allowed us to easily train and implement a user self-service model for content. Content creators can exist throughout the enterprise, with permissions set to customize their level of involvement in the pre-production environment. Publishing features allow quality control with approvals required by designated persons responsible for each subsite throughout the intranet hierarchy, prior to any content migrating to the live intranet site. Additional areas of the site for news, blogs, and others allow all users on the live site to comment on certain types of comment, provide feedback (including likes), and to follow authors of blogs (receiving custom emails when new posts arrive, for example). It is a media-rich site, and we have been able to both extend some of the more advanced SharePoint features in development, as well as integrating with plug-ins and with third-party sites/services that were already being engaged by various areas of the enterprise. This has allowed us to pull many areas of content together into a more tightly integrated solution that is effective for communications and productivity in the organization.

Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio was used for day to day database querying. It was the to-go platform to analyze data and perform ETL processes. Additionally, it was also used to develop SSIS packages to facilitate automated processes for the organization.

MS SharePoint/SQL is being across our organization as a intranet to connect our business units and the leaders with their employees. We use the message board to relay information, and department pages to allow employees access to information about their business unit.
