We find that it works perfectly with Virtualized Environments: NAKIVO Backup & Replication is well-suited for virtualized environments, such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV. It provides efficient VM backup and replication, with features like incremental backups and global deduplication, optimizing storage usage and minimizing backup windows.

Similar to us NAKIVO is better suited for Small to Medium-Sized Businesses: NAKIVO Backup & Replication is an excellent choice for small to medium-sized businesses that require a cost-effective yet comprehensive data protection solution. It offers a user-friendly interface, easy deployment, and affordable licensing options.

  1. However with our Experience we feel that NAKIVO is not suited for Highly Transactional Systems: In scenarios where you have highly transactional systems with strict recovery point objectives (RPOs) and recovery time objectives (RTOs), you may require specialized backup solutions tailored for such demanding environments.

The response time between a quotation request and the reception of the licenses is less than 24 hours. This allows a great reactivity. It is also possible to buy licenses without quotation directly by credit card in an instantaneous way. What is very appreciable to respond faster to our client.

NAKIVO is a very intuitive solution with reliable results and and fair cost. The solution allows companies to be safer and managers to feel peaceful that their environment is backed up with easy access to past backups. The features and breadth of the solution is also really attractive as it concentrates VM, servers, physical workstations, o365 and other platform backups in local, cloud or tape repositories.

If you don't want to use a lot of money each year on BACKUP software, and just want something that works out of the box, and is easy to install, then choose NAKIVO Backup & Replication. Furthermore, I think that NAKIVO Backup & Replication is easy to manage also - and even if you are not IT-department, and is single company with own datacenter it is easy to manage your backups and restore - there are a lot of advanced features in NAKIVO Backup & Replication but all in all you don't have to use them for single backups, and restores. If you have problems they also have a very good support staff, that's not afraid to join a session with you helping with backup or restore or setup - or whatever problem it might be. We had some issues with snapshot taking on our VMware that NAKIVO uses - NAKIVO fixed it with a live session, even though they don't have anything to do with our VMware.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication is perfect for SME and Enterprise environments given it's flexibility, reliability and cost. We've used many of it's competitors and it always stands up well. We were about to install, setup and test virtual (VMWare and HyperV) backups within minutes. We also conducted various restore tests which proved simple to do and most importantly very reliable.

NAKIVO covers all features that we expect and demand from a backup software while keeping the management interface intuitive and straightforward. We can bet on its reliability and, in case we need to prove, there is an easy-to-use mock recovery option that allows VMs to be run directly from the backup (saves space on the virtualization datastore) and connected to dedicated recovery-test network.

It is well suited for ditributed environments, as I'm using it now. I believe it is very good for a server farm as well, but I'm not sure how it works on this environment since I have no experience.

NAKIVO backup is great for backing up a VM environment, with the ability to also back up physical servers. Being able to copy backups from one NAS to another without having to visit the DR site is a great benefit and time saver. Cloud storage backups are icing on the cake in a time of increasing ransomware cyberattacks. Each year we have been more pleased with NAKIVO than the year before.

We use the VM, the Windows Appliance, or the NAS APP for our customers. So far, no critical errors have occurred, as it runs very reliably. If a mistake or something similar occurs, we have always been able to find a solution with support. Restoring has also worked very well in corresponding tests. From us a clear recommendation!

File share backup is less rich in terms of restore features, but the basic functions are supported. It have all you need to plan backup jobs. Backup and restore of virtual machines is the strongest function of Nakivo. When backing up to Amazon S3, keep in mind that you will be taxed also based on the I/O you make and this will be more prominent cost with Nakivo.

Excellent product for fulfilling majority of the task regular users are asking, still can be an issue if they they have partially older OS like Win7 and XP. Works perfect with any other scenario and does not require extender IT skills to install or maintain in comparison to some other products.

if you have VMs backup must be done fast and with full controll. NAKIVO Backup & Replication do the job very well Ms SQL backup Is also possibile and restore of single database or table is simple and very powerfull. Personally I do backup of many Windows servers and mail server installed on VMware

Nakivo Backup & Replication worked just fine in the above scenario. I don't have experience with larger infrastructures, but you can see you can add plenty of VMs, jobs, and destinations. You can recover both whole VMs and single files\directory and you can even balance the workload using multiple "transporters".

Any company that has its own virtual servers, should have NAKIVO Backup & Replication. It is an essential replication and backup tool that they will need at some point in their lives, since the possibility of a malware attack or a problem in a server can occur at any time, and you have to be prepared for it. I see it less useful for working with replicas and backups in the cloud. At first, it goes quite fast, but as time goes by, backups become slower and slower, at least in my little experience with it.
