RallyBound has proven to be a valuable tool for various fundraising events and campaigns. Users have praised its effectiveness in organizing signature peer-to-peer events and creating donation pages for agencies. The platform's continuous improvements and reasonable pricing have made it a popular choice among users. However, some users have encountered issues with the platform's responsiveness on mobile devices, finding the site too small to navigate effectively. There are also concerns regarding the handling of registration fees, as they are counted as donations rather than tax-deductible payments, with no separate transaction type available. Another limitation is the on-site user interface, which is limited, requiring users to use computers and visit the regular site for most check-ins.

Merging duplicate records on RallyBound has caused problems for some users, resulting in lost registration fees. Unfortunately, customer service has been unhelpful in resolving these issues. Users have expressed a strong need for improved customer service, as RallyBound only has one person handling all customer service emails and does not allow phone calls. This lack of support during event setup has led some users to seek alternative solutions. Despite these challenges, RallyBound's professionalism, customization flexibility, and ease of use have impressed many users, who enthusiastically recommend it to others. The platform integrates seamlessly with Salesforce and Mailchimp, offers attractive design templates, and provides sufficient customization options. With a wide range of features available to both administrators and fundraising users, RallyBound simplifies the process of creating fundraising pages and facilitating donations. Its integration with Salesforce is also a key factor for organizations that process over $1 million in transactions each year.

Our development department uses Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) for general donations and for our walk platform. Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) processes general donations that come in over our website. It has a wider role within our Walk program. Walkers can sign up and customize their own walk site within Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound). We also process all walk-related giving through Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound), including running reports. It integrates with our CRM and allows us to track new involvement.
  • Reports are easy to access and easy to run.
  • We like that it gives walkers latitude to customize their walker site.
  • It is better than our previous service (Convio) at giving local managers access to fix errors in the system on behalf of individual walkers (e.g., wrong address or team name).
  • It should be easier to find the admin sign-in.
  • The reports' UI could be streamlined. I usually have to turn certain filters off that should be off by default.
  • I would like to see a little more customizability of the website.
Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) is well suited to third-party fundraising. We use it for our walk fundraiser, and we enjoy the level of interactivity and customization it offers our constituents. It also makes donation entry and reporting fairly easy, so it would be well suited for operations with vast numbers of donations in cash, check, and credit. It might be less suited to events with a handful of large donations from corporate benefactors.
  • Ability for participants to set up their own fundraising site.
  • Running reports on donations and donor data gives us quality analytics on which to improve.
  • Customizability to reflect our branding.
  • Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) has reduced the staff burden of data entry by making more available to secondary admins and users.
  • Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) has improved the quality of the analysis of data from our walks.
  • We have been able to surpass our expectations for peer-to-peer fundraising in a year affected by the pandemic.
