I would give it a overall rating of 8 because the combination of cloud based solution, robust system, full feature sets, reasonable cost per user and accessibility over mobile devices.

Ease of use for end users.
Increased visibility for our end users.
Consolidation of multiple operating subsidiaries in different currencies into one system allows the finance department to use one system instead of multiple systems.
Hosted environment makes it easier to manage from an IT perspective. No downtime in upgrading to new version.

Our company is looking for more advanced ecommerce and internet marketing features that are not currently present in NetSuite. We feel there are too many additional costs to NetSuite to make it "our own" and understand at the same time that no software is perfect out of the box. Not having complete control of our customer data worries us, and the slowness or "lag" in the shopping cart is effecting our checkout flow. For the investment, we would not recommend businesses of our size to migrate to NetSuite but rather build in house.

At this point we are so integrated with NetSuite for every department in our company, it would be almost impossible to change software. This isn't a bad thing, per se. Since NetSuite gives us the ability to integrate every aspect of our business, and allows for such granular customization, it has become part of our company. Everyone uses NetSuite because NetSuite can be used for everything.
