Scenarios where NetSuite works well is in the ease of transaction data flowing into the financials. The ability to set up multiple classes, departments, locations, and accounts and then get the data into where we need it is important.
Less appropriate would be the reporting functionality. Great for basic reports to see a company overview, but when you need to break down to other classes the reports are lacking.

NetSuite is well suited for companies needing a centralized platform for all their data. If you have multiple channels and services that are not interconnected, NetSuite helps with that. If you are a small company that does not have a lot of channels or data, NetSuite might be a bit overkill.

Wherever many different roles or complex processes are involved, it is great. If your processes are quite simple, I'd probably recommend more of an out of the box solution. It requires too much time overhead for many businesses that handle less volume. I'd recommend this to groups with the capacity to support a full time it user.

NetSuite is great for new companies starting out, its easy to learn and use, Users can build and customize there own reports easily. I think it would be cool if chat gpt can build my save searches for me as its difficult to remember the formulas in the searches overtime, unless that is your only role.

NetSuite has worked for our business, especially for our trust accounting and the different types of customizations. We need the custom records. The custom record function has allowed us to get flexibility and reports on all aspects of our company. We also really enjoy the dashboards and the KPIs.

Financials and reporting are very strong. The largest pitfall is poor implementation and special use cases not being fully proven during the demo and sales process to know that NetSuite will be a good fit. Reporting and general ease of use are very high and easy to promote user adoption.

NetSuite has a very user-friendly interface and it in general easy to use compared to other ERP systems like SAP. I love the fact that Journal Entries in an open period can be edited. NS can be customized to fit your company's needs but finding the right answers can be cumbersome. I find a lot of my answers on Google or YouTube.

Netsuite is a great ERP to use after your business grows and your needs become more complex. As a team lead, having quick access to the data is crucial, and NS can be accessed from anywhere.

We use NetSuite for everything from purchase order creation to sales order fulfillment. Because we are such a heavily regulated industry, there are a lot of rules that need to be followed when it comes to what materials can be used in manufacturing. NetSuite has allowed us to set up some customizations that make following these rules easy and seamless.

Since I am in the operations department, NetSuite is a good tool for us to be the liaison between warehouse/fulfillment and sales/marketing. It communicates effectively between the two - it is easy to manage specific customer requests and communicate them to the warehouse team to make sure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and to the customer's specifications.
