New Relic's comprehensive monitoring allows us to break down silos and gain insights across every layer of our applications. From frontend user interactions to backend database queries and everything in between, we now have a unified, real-time view. New Relic's comprehensive analytics have enabled our team to maximize resource use. Through the identification and resolution of bottlenecks or inefficient code segments, we have successfully streamlined our applications, resulting in increased productivity and decreased operational expenses.

As mentioned already, I'm sure the capabilities of New Relic are incredible - but they're all pretty much overkill for what we need. The platform is hard to use and is designed for highly technical users only. So while the platform is designed for this, I couldn't really tell you how these capabilities could or would impact us, since we don't use the bulk of these features.

Everything can be viewed in New Relic so it's a one-stop location for all our monitoring - server infrastructure performance and utilisation, Docker container status and performance, server software logs, client-side browser performance, and application performance monitoring. Having all of these details and metrics in one location makes it easy to see patterns in performance changes and have a full view of our entire stack.

New Relic has really helped in our monitoring. Being able to see exactly how our different apps are doing – whether they're public, private, or a mix of both – in real time. It's kind of like having a backstage pass to what's happening under the hood. When things slow down, the team head straight to New Relic. It's become our first spot to figure out what's causing issues and give our users smooth sailing. This tool has made us work smarter and iron out kinks faster. Overall its another useful tool that helps us ensure everything is running and our users are happy.

New Relic design and functionality helps in many ways from getting the performance metrics and real-time alerting. It helps in getting notified about the potential issues that can occur in the future beforehand, then decreases the overall downtime for the application. It also helps with the visualization of performance metrics with the help of dashboards with different types of graphs and tables.

New relic is indeed a great tool in this manner we have our application hosted on 2 different public clouds and with the new relics feature to monitor the application in all fashion i.e public, private, and hybrid app through this we can able to monitor the application insights that are in both different clouds, also we can see the logs aggregating from both the platform in one UI only

This tool is heavily used by our SRE and engineering teams to know when our application is having issues and when scalability is of concern. We use it extensively in a 100% cloud environment in AWS. For any api call you can see a detailed breakdown of method calls, timing, how many times something was called, database calls, external calls. All in one single view for a quick diagnosis. Hands down makes debugging an application or performance issue much easier and a lot faster.

I can come into any new company have New Relic running and look at it and understand how the application works. Extremely powerful.

We use New Relic on a regular basis for providing application performance data that has helped quickly and easily address performance issues. Troubleshooting with New Relic allows us to zero in on the root cause much more quickly, and to achieve faster repair time, when incidents occur.

Easy to pinpoint performance bottlenecks as the application is monitored in layers and individual components can be appraised separately. We have used NewRelic to analyse the time spent in PHP and average web transaction times. We are thinking of migrating to the Pro level to take advantage of the full array of performance counters.

It's helpful for developers and managers to easily see how much resources we have in the infrastructure and how much is being used. The interface is intuitive enough that the engineering manager can understand what is going on and generate his own reports.

New Relic provides a detailed monitoring solution that gives us insight into the various levels of the application stack including: - Database query. - Performance server performance and metrics application server. - Performance browser performance. - Error logging and aggregation. - Log data. Utilising the entire stack allows a data-rich view of our hundreds of consumer services, ensuring a good experience for our customers.

Now that we talk about real-time performance, it comes the scenario when we have the need of provisioning new infrastructure, and in order to calculate the amount of right resources we would need, we perform load tests. Then, we connect the servers that were part of the testing environment to NewRelic, that way we can monitor the application with APM, and at the same time adjust the capacity from the infrastructure side, until we find the expected values in terms of response time, application response time, apdex score, etc, all of them being visualized inside NewRelic UI. Sometimes, it requires perform load tests of our application integrating it with external providers. Then, with NewRelic, we can monitor the response from those external providers using External Services, that way we can inform them how their services are behaving and if they need adjustments in order to reach the desired performance.

New Relic in our Organization is being used in a private capacity. Since we are a media company we try to keep stuff as private as possible by using tools that don't make use of public networks. As previously mentioned, New Relic is our primary solution for monitoring all the devices, and so far, it has been working way beyond our expectations.

We are using New Relic for Kubernetes cluster, applications, and mobile apps as well. Hence it provides all relevant context and metrics fine-grained in near real-time. This is very helpful and enables the entire Technology team to take ownership of their contributions to functionality and performance as well.

Full-stack observability along with the newly added Network monitoring feature makes it the one-stop solution to monitor any production environment. The rich query-based feature also helps to get the single pane observability with the data collected by agents or scripts. It also provides seamless integration between Cloud, ITSM, or project management applications.
