STAY AWAY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Nextiva for our phone lines. It’s the worst. Calls drop, don’t connect, we are overcharged, there is no price matching, no help by customer service, sold an oversized product for literally 3 employees when all we ever needed was a call queue, reporting, and call recording first in first out. I DO NOT recommend this product for any business. The service is garbage, they used recycled numbers where you business shows up as spam. They gave one of my employees a new number that was already assigned to another business. He had 50 new leads on his contact list, had to provide a new number the. Lost all of his leads that he spent some time on gathering. All of his research was out the door. This company and product are snakes and you should avoid at all cost!

Cons

  • Not overseas support
  • Actually provide a product that works on what you’re selling
  • Price matching and not overcharging businesses

Likelihood to Recommend

I wish I could give below a 1. They don’t deserve to be a business. They refuse to price match when they know they’re over charging us. We provided 4 quotes from competitors that can cut their price by more than off. They sold us this massive package we never needed. We need call queue, call recording and reporting, and fax. That’s it. We truly don’t even need fax. We use nothing else. They won’t let us downgrade our service. They won’t let us remove anything. They refuse to do anything.

In our experience, Cannot Provide What They Tell You They Can

Rating: 1 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our experience, could not provide the services we signed a contract for. 3 months of working sometimes over 3 hours per phone call for them to get it right and they couldn't. However, in our experience, they refuse to refund out money for services they could not provide. We tried for over 3 months, and their routing errors caused company cross over calls that were detrimental to our company

Cons

  • customer service
  • following through with their promise of service
  • better tech support
  • quicker response times

Likelihood to Recommend

I would not in any way recommend Nextiva to any company in any industry. They could not fulfill their contract with us and provide the services we signed up for and paid for.

Great resource!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Nextiva is our phone system we use, we use the headset for calls and also utilize to manage our calls centers and phone calls virtually through the application. It addresses all calls and voicemails in one place. It will email you voicemails and makes it versatile on the go. Our scope is having multiple offices with multiple departments.

Pros

  • Customer Support is responsive
  • Versatility
  • User Friendly
  • Reporting

Cons

  • Calls get stuck sometimes. Randomly have issues on my desk set - I will be on a call and at times, it looks like I've put the client on hold but haven't
  • A more aesthetically pleasing supervisor dashboard
  • Auto sign in/log offs

Likelihood to Recommend

It's best suited for multiple locations and great for businesses, probably smaller businesses. Large corporate companies should benefit too- due to its wide use. I would deem it less appropriate for a single office location.

We love Nextiva!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We needed a solution for a round-robin call center with multiple funnels (sales, support, enterprise, etc). Nextiva has been the perfect solution for us, as we tried a competitor and it was lacking the features we needed.

Nextiva has been fully transparent about pricing, product, and level of support, and we couldn't be happier!

Pros

  • Call Center
  • Support Line
  • Talk to sales line

Cons

  • Nothing so far!

Likelihood to Recommend

Nextiva is great for our talk-to-sales / support line use case. Round robin was super easy to get set up, and the team was very helpful throughout the onboarding process.

Customer support has always been very supportive and patient, especially with new customers. Support is readily available to help, even during Covid. The onboarding transition was smooth, even during Covid when times were challenging. We were able to easily get set up to work remotely from home, when we were so used to working at the office.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

They use to to communicate with the public through their many services that they provide. They use it to help them call and answer any questions they may have. They help senior citizens who cannot use telephones and help them call so they can get the services they need that they cannot do on their own. It is very hard for seniors because they cannot hear on the phone.

Pros

  • Communication
  • Friendlyness
  • Great Support

Likelihood to Recommend

They were able to help and assist in all areas of upgrading the old phone infrastructure to make it compatible and ready to go for the new system. They were invaluable in helping getting everything to where it needed to be. Their game plan and path to completion of the projects were spot on.

Phones are great and we saved money!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our phone vendor informed us they were no longer going to offer VOIP service and gave us a few suggestions of providers to contact, Nextiva was one of those providers. During the sales interview, we were impressed with the knowledge of the team and after interviewing a few other companies, decided on Nextiva. The montly rate dropped dramatically, implementation was easy and so far customer service has been really good.

Pros

  • Hold time with customer service has been very short
  • Chat box pops up with offer to chat when searching or watching a video
  • Pricing is very competitive

Cons

  • There were several words that were spelled incorrectly on their website which was very bothersome.
  • The previous phone had a message "transfer complete" and now when I transfer a call it just disappears and I hope that I did not hang up on a customer.
  • For a non technical person, some of the explanations during the implementation process were complicated. Customer service was able to walk me through step by step which was super helpful.

Likelihood to Recommend

We are in an industry where texting clients is not allowed so we are very phone driven. When the phones are down or not functioning correctly, we are at a disadvantage. So far the Nextiva phones have worked seamlessly and the voice quality has been good.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Nextiva Business Phone Services connects our customers with our technicians, administration, and the CEO.

Pros

  • Call Logs
  • Call Forwarding
  • Phone App / Desk phone via Voip

Cons

  • Phone app is inconsistent, sometimes rings, sometimes doesn't
  • Mutiple places to login without good understanding on what is what

Likelihood to Recommend

We are a marine dockside service team, and in the past, we had multiple people chained to the office to 'man the phones'. The ease of receiving calls through one number and forwarding the call out, with a clean phone log is amazing. I love being able to return office calls with a missed log just like a cell phone. It is also really helpful to be able multiple phone tree options depending on who is working and who is on holiday.
