The easiest way to develop and manage workflows in SharePoint
Even though it is a visual programming tool, you still need some knowledge on how to program. I had a training with a business user and he couldn't get his head around certain concepts in the development of workflows. For that reason we keep the development within the IT department. But the forms and workflows developed with nintex can be extremely user friendly.
While some features of the Nintex Process Platform require coding, there are a few features that require no programming and this saves when it comes to automation.

Nintex Platform Review
it got non-programming staff to do some basic programming which is great. For the programming background staff, it gets difficult as the logic or overall approach is sometimes not intuitive for them.
It is faster than working with the old SharePoint Designer and its textual design or Visual Studio with coding. Less complex workflow can be done very good with Nintex. For large and complex workflow I would recommend other workflow tools. Nintex helps basically to move into the direction of a paperless office.
