We have multiple users in our organization. From time to time, we develop and release many applications, and OneLogin eases our authentication process that allows all users to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. Users have access to all services registered with the account, and all journeys from implementation to end-user experience were good.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication process
  • Improves user productivity
  • Improves user productivity

Due to the multitude of sites that need to be accessed by its community members, Berklee decided to implement a web single sign-on solution. The solution aimed at serving multiple purposes:
  • Simplify access to the various application
  • Increase security by enabling the roll-out of two-factor authentication
  • Increase automation around provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts.
OneLogin was the best solution in terms of ease of implementation and maintenance, and the most cost effective. All of our community members eligible for accounts (employees, students, alumni, contractors) use the platform to authenticate to more than fifty (50) web-based applications.
  • Numerous predefined connectors: Those connectors to the most popular applications allow to have a quick start.
  • Easy integration with various directory solutions: This allows to quickly setup an existing set of users with no password change, whether they are managed in Active Directory, OpenLDAP, G-Suite
  • Availability of APIs: The APIs offered allow to manage users and users attributes and allow to have more flexibility to provision data to and from the platform.
  • Lack of administrative APIs for creating or setting up new connectors: This prevents the automated integration to federations and requires manual setup rather than discovery-based automated setup.
  • Customization of the interface: The potential configuration of the interface are still limited at the moment (logo, primary and secondary colors, background). This prevents the usage of the platform as a communication medium or to organize the space in a more standard fashion (for our institution)
  • There are some limitations with using the apps provisioning APIs that can lead to some termination or provisioning actions not being completed
OneLogin is well suited for environments that are fairly standard and in which teams do not have a lot of technical expertise in the various single sign-on protocols. The setup and maintenance is very easy while providing a really robust service.

The lack of possible customization could make it less attractive for specific environments that do not have standards in their infrastructure.

OneLogin is used to control access to many of our tools for our entire organization. It is a convenient way to provide security without a lot of overhead. OneLogin makes working remotely simple as users are able to do all of their work using one set of login credentials. All that is required is setting up a trusted device that works as a two-factor authentication.
  • Security.
  • Integration with many platforms.
  • Convenient secure authorization through a single tap button.
  • Simple, easy to use design.
  • Does not have the ability to set custom timeout on rotating security code.
  • Would be nice to see how long a security code is valid in print.
  • Sending a OTP doesn't work for certain applications.
OneLogin is very convenient. Users can register their own iPhone or Android to act as their authorization device, meaning they will likely always have access to the OneLogin security code. The OneLogin application then allows the users to hit a button instead of inputting the security code to validate their two-factor authorization. OneLogin is great for businesses who need to enforce secure access into their various systems and tools. By consolidating the security into a single login with security device two-factor authorization, it makes it safe and easy to manage.

OneLogin is being used as a Single Sign On portal for our entire company. The added protection it provides to our company is invaluable. It's also really nice to only need to sign on to one portal and have that sign you into all of the other programs that you'll need for the rest of the day.
  • Single Sign on
  • Multi Factor Authentication
  • Cost - can be pricey for larger organizations
  • Customization of the frequent tab
OneLogin is great for app management, adding security to your organization, and consolidating password management. The Single Sign on has been really nice for our whole organization. The audit trail is really nice, but it's not super detailed.

This program is used by the company for payroll, benefits management, and protection of the computer integrity for overall login security. It is being used across the entire organization and solves the problems of security management and easy login.
  • Allows you to log into all of your necessary tools all at once.
  • Keeps items unlocked throughout the day unless you lock them up.
  • Allows easy access to all items in a secure location.
  • Password requirements are stringent.
  • Password must be changed every 90 days.
It's very helpful for a large organization and for sales professionals using several programs throughout the day to manage their business. It can be annoying to log in multiple times. You can add a second authentication, which is used at my former company, and that allows the connection of your cell phone to your computer.

We implemented OneLogin for all employees and students at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. It allows us to have a single username and password for all of our various apps and services. It also allows us to have more granular control of access and restrictions.
  • Single sign-on.
  • Multi-factor authentication.
  • O365 account provisioning.
  • End-user onboarding process.
  • Speed of adding new app connectors.
OneLogin was a dream for us to implement. We love the thoughtful design of the service. We've been incredibly pleased with the reliability and functionality provided by OneLogin. Any business that wants to implement SSO for their employees and/or customers should certainly consider OneLogin.
