What is DragonGlass?
DragonGlass is offered by the vendor as a reliable data stream service that provides transaction records, contract details, and account details from the Hedera Hashgraph network to make it searchable for a better user experience. DragonGlass reads directly from the Hedera network record stream. Transactions are available in DragonGlass within 5-7 seconds of occurrence. A key aspect of DragonGlass is its ability to trace transactions back to the source file generated from a Hedera node.
DragonGlass collects all transactions processed in the Hedera network. The transaction details are parsed from the record stream. DragonGlass applies its own consensus by verifying the file against signatures from each node in the Hedera network, thus making the process hack-proof. The raw transaction record is then enriched and stored in DragonGlass along with the raw transaction itself for consumption by users. DragonGlass also provides a list of APIs and a subscription through a message bus for consumption by DAPP developers. DragonGlass also contains a dApp Marketplace where dApp developers can list their product for users to view all details related to the dApp, including transaction history, balance history, and payment receipts.
