> Adobe's pretty cool for its recomentation / AI / ML engine > VWO's wysiwyg is pretty solid and the heatmapping is nice > abtasty's consent features are pretty cool to launch patch and AB Test Consent Rate > Monetate & Dynamic Yield's pre-built personalization features help non-devs deliver solid personalization campaigns > DY's user profiling is pretty solid with Affinity-profile built as user explore the site > WebtrendsOptimize is very customizable and the support team very proactive

Optimizely has everything in one place. It is also more thorough, letting you do any kind of experimentation. It also has a much better interface that allows you to manipulate the creative/code much more easily.

Overall, the tools we compared against were great, but we went with Optimizely because it has all the features we needed and has the market leadership that gave us trust we would be successful in our experimentation efforts.

Analytics are vastly superior, platform UI is by far the easiest to use, and capabilities are best in class. If your organization has any budget for a web experimentation tool, it should be using Optimizely Web Experimentation.

Google Optimize was much less flexible for our program needs and requires Google Analytics for analysis and metrics tracking. Optimizely Web Experimentation lets you build any number of metrics which can be much more complex than standard GA goals. Optimizely Web Experimentation works well with multiple tools in our marketing tech stack out of the box. In order to maximize value out of Adobe Target you need to buy more and more into the Adobe environment.

We use AEM so Adobe Target would be a natural choice, it integrates naturally with the Experience Fragments and all the content we already hold there. However - with extensions - we've been able to unlock a similar workflow to be able to seamlessly test. Optimizely has the unique capability to be able to feature test, which is how we have been able to evolve our onsite experience and not only be able to quantify the revenue impact of our content or copy changes, but of entire site changes.

We wanted one tool, that was easy for marketers and developers to use and would allow us to remain organized. Neither Of the other products allowed for this as seamlessly as Optimizely.

The creation and customization of events in our AB testing is an important feature that Google Optimize does not. Because of how we prioritize our Client journey and leading to more form submissions, it's critical that we can identify pivotal moments that influence our User's decisions.

Google Optimize was used previously and sunset in October. We were looking for a new system that had similar capabilities that was organized and would allow code manipulation as well as ease of use without touching code so more members of our team could seamlessly implement experiments.

We pivoted to Optimizely Web Experimentation because Google Optimize was sunsetted as a product by Google. Optimizely Web Experimentation has more features available, such as the statistical significance estimator, ability to run more than 5 experiments at a time, and ability to measure more than three objectives at a time.

Optimizely is a far more comprehensive solution. While it's true there are competitors to X Web, there's nothing to touch Optimizely's Full Stack product. Their customer support is based out of the USA, which cuts down wait times if we have questions/issues. This wasn't the case with other vendors who have support in other parts of the world.
