I mostly provided support to Order Management and WME, AR, and OTBI to users of the Warehouse (CETI) Sales and Customer service. I used to research issues in some Orders, also to create MOS SRs, and follow up until resolution. I also managed the Upload of the customer Catalog and help with Customers Configuration.
  • Creation of Sales Orders
  • Generation of Bills/Manifesto.
  • Auto invoice Generation
  • Auto Pricing
  • Auto Accounting
  • Integration with WME must be much more simple and more transparent and done totally by Oracle and not by Customers.
  • Modification and Cancelation of SOs should be easier
  • Modification or cancelation should be easily reflected on Inventory Shipments.
In my experience, Oracle Cloud is very well suited for Pharma, Medical Devices, and any other Medium to Large Companies that count on a dedicated team to implement and support post-implementation. Counting always with full Support from Oracle on Demand or on Premises assuring to always have Their support available 24/7/365

I was working as a cyber security consultant in Oracle practice and used to recommend and implement Oracle users and roles for clients. The scope of work used to range from implementing users, roles (Job and data roles) for multiple fortune 500 clients. The business challenges were, clients wanted to move from legacy system to cloud and we used to perform separation of duties for them. The product ensures security for different users in different domains.
  • Amazing interface to start with
  • Simplified architecture - with a click of a button you can create users
  • Amazing customer service (SR request handling)
  • Network perimeter is missing in ERP
  • Location based access control is not up to mark
In terms of handling financials, Oracle [Cloud ERP] is [a] good product. However, for Oracle HCM there may be [a] few functionalities [that] may be a little cumbersome. The firm needs to work on products in [the] HCM space. Also sometimes in [the] migration of data from one pod to another oracle sometimes creates issues. However, the product works very well in [the] financials space such as creating data profiles and setting up data security.

We use Oracle Cloud ERP to manage enterprise functions including accounting, financial management, project management, and procurement. We also use Oracle Risk Management with embedded artificial intelligence (AI) techniques that automate advanced analysis for ERP role design, segregation of duties (SOX), and preventing financial fraud. Oracle Cloud ERP runs on Oracle technology stack in Oracle's cloud centers so we don't have to maintain servers on our premises.
  • Performance.
  • Comprehensive functionality encompassing all required features needed for our business.
  • Customer support.
  • Implementation guide.
  • Low or no maintenance.
  • To be able to customize any module we use.
  • Some areas of the system could improve on latency.

We are a publicly-traded healthcare company with over 50000 full-time and part-time employees. We also currently have about 15000 contingent workers in our workforce. Oracle Cloud ERP is very well suited for an enterprise our size. Our financial department relies heavily on Oracle cloud ERP for daily business functions like procurement, supply chain, accounts reconciliation, ledgers, payables, receivables, and supply chain logistics. The executive team uses this system for project management and our risk assessment and management department for Compliance, risk management portfolio.

We are Oracle partners and implement Oracle Cloud ERP for our clients. Previously I worked for one of the largest healthcare organizations in the US and I was implementing with my implementation partners. I have implemented Source to Settle and Demand to Deliver modules. I have done configurations, ran CRP and SIT cycles with end-users. The business problem mainly in healthcare is the standardization of legacy systems to one common ERP system across the healthcare environment
  • completely Browser-based , providing spreadsheets wherever possible to upload mass data
  • Standardization of common business workflows across different verticals
  • ease of use reporting capabilities through Oracle transactional business intelligence
  • integrations to different systems can be complex, most of the time other systems have to adapt to Oracle
  • Some features in Planning are not tested enough and bugs can be encountered when working with end-users
  • the product can take a steep learning curve to learn for end-users across different verticals due to standardization
Well suited: Procure to pay cycles, especially procurement, agreements, requisitions, and purchase orders. Min Max replenishment, Cycle Counting and Physical Inventory, Product management, items and items categories, Organization and enterprise setup, Forecast generation, causal factors, Data collections, PAR replenishment through RF SMart integration, report running and creation through Oracle transaction business intelligence

In this case, Oracle Cloud ERP has been used as back-office ERP and integrating different systems using Fusion Accounting Hub.
  • Integrate transactional systems using FAH to produce accounting
  • Generate Bi transactional cubes to generate information for the business
  • Availability
  • Integration between modules
  • The social chat to help collaborators to communicate
  • Transfer of extra information from Accounting Hub to General Ledger (DFF's)
  • Better navigation from modules
  • Easier way to extract information for integrations that needs information from ERP
Best Suited:
Businesses where the business processes can use the standard models designed in ERP
Clients for different sizes that need a fast pace ROI
Clients that have clear business processes and want to migrate to a full ERP supported by a third party

Less appropriate:
Clients that need a lot of business customizations
Clients with not good access to the internet
Clients that prefer to "own" and "control" everything that happens in their systems (obviously, this is a mindset, but it is always complicated)
Government clients who need, by law, to keep their sensitive information in their own country or datacenter

Process transactions using Oracle cloud. Supplier invoices are processed. Customer invoices are processed general ledger is used for accounting transactions reports and analysis etc. Assets, cash management, sub-ledger accounting security features are used to process day-to-day transactions. Train users on the Oracle ERP module to use for business processing
  • Reports and Analytics window to define custom reports
  • FBDI and ADFDI file upload process to upload all transaction data
  • Tracking all setups as a project and facilitate ease for implementation team
  • Lots and Lots of room for improvement in providing direct DB view only access similar to EBS R12
  • Oracle Channel Revenue Management -- functionality is not as R12 -- lots of functionality lost.
  • Ability to add custom functions in SLA -- this is available in R12 -- not available in R13 cloud.
Oracle applications Cloud version is plug and plays if the business is simple and normal nature -- not many customizations required -- reports and base level processes can help in meeting the business needs. Businesses with medium to complex processes -- Oracle cloud do not fit the bill -- they need major work outside the system and use Cloud version for financial transactions and audit purposes. -- this is not the case with R12 -- the application on-premise version is scalable and customers can add additional programs to meet the business needs --- no custom objects on Oracle SAAS is a big letdown. Using Oracle PAAS for custom objects needs lots of manpower to implement and support.

This tool works great for smaller organizations, small to mid-size. It offers many great features for an enterprise such as scalability for financial management and thorough support for users worldwide. This software works very well with its in-line Oracle products. It synchronizes the data on the go making it easily retrievable for all its users. It offers great support for AP, providing a portal with excellent security features that guard all the invoice retrievals and their storage. Overall it's a great product that keeps on delivering.
  • Great integration with its Oracle products/applications
  • User friendly sky, apps are easily customizable
  • Reporting features are great
  • Better and more user friendly
  • More training materials available for users
  • Faster more integrated features
This software is greatly suited for small to medium size companies. It offers a wide variety of financial reports which can be utilized by everyone in the business chain. The apps by Oracle are easily integrated with its other features. Initially, it may seem self intuitive but once you learn the system, it is very easy to use.

Oracle Financials is one of the most useful and helpful ERP product for banking clients. The EPM and ERP suite together is capable to handle banking products and services provided by large banks to their clients. For ex - Loans, mortgages data can be interfaced to easily using OFSAA. Procurement suite again is so helpful to handle their indirect purchases which supports banking clients with their operations
  • Product functionality catering to Real life cloudiness scenarios
  • Capability of connecting with almost any upstream and downstream systems
  • Reports and Analytics is a powerful tool provided by Oracle
  • Improve the supply chain modules and functionalities
  • The FBDI templates should contains some detailed instructions on how to fill them
  • Improve oracle support quality and issue resolution turnaround time
Oracle ERP is best suited for Banking and insurance clients
Oracle ERP is not a favorite when it comes to Manufacturing and Supply Chain

In the case of implementation of tax module. The oracle regime to rate flow provides robust software to configure the taxes for an organization. Oracle Cloud ERP System is well suited for business organizations whether they be public or private. When there are standard business rules and workflows to be followed Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited for the challenge. It is less appropriate when the business does not follow a systemic workflow and has many customizations. Some companies may need less standardized practices which may decrease the credibility and integrity of the system.

1) reach to fast and real-time access to application data avoids IT assistance and time-consuming data preparation and ensures accurate reporting. 2) Save time and money establishing a data warehouse or data lake in the cloud with minimal data preparation.
  • Reduced costs
  • Improved information sharing and data access
  • Improved data-driven decision making
  • Increased user productivity.
  • improve to ease of use for users without a technical background or experience
  • working on End-user access - users are able to work with the system in little time of training

  • Time sheets submittig
  • Keepingh track for diffrent projects
  • Provideng limited access to diffrent types of users
  • UI or user friendlines
  • The speed of work
  • Mobile application
It is a very good product for end-users who has to do a simple task in it, but if you need to go heavy and develop some more different features it may become a problem. It is easy to submit time sheets for users. Easy to manage different project settings It is hard to create new roles and levels of access.

We aimed to reduce report preparation and delivery time. With Oracle Cloud ERP, we were able to shorten the reporting cycle and strengthen report oversight across all operating locations. Now, calculations that we use as source for reports (and forecasts) are done much faster and we achieved the goal of delivering reports more frequently.
  • Functionality improvements
  • Lower costs
  • No worries about infrastructure
  • When initially launched, the solution was not compatible with EBS
  • Multiplicity of business processes sometimes confuses new users
  • Integration with other tools is not always straightforward
Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited in large, geographically dispersed locations. And it completely takes away worries about infrastructure and scalability.

I like the way in which we can program the function of ERP, unlike the traditional ones, since it is cloud-based, I could even access it via mobile or any other device which is a great plus.
  • Cross platform (can be accessed via any device)
  • Efficiency of the program is much faster when adding new information
  • Great for multi-business model companies
  • Error reporting
  • Sometimes I feel the implementation of the software is tough to understand
Overall it is a good product for various business units, however, it could be better when reporting errors as sometimes the error turns out to be the different one than the error displayed in the program. Other than that, there is little discomfort when setting up for more than 15 projects.

AP - post invoices, payments, OTBI tool and Scheduled Processes <br>AR - post different kinds of transactions (invoices, refunds, credit memos etc), manage cash, manag customers, use OTBI tool and Scheduled processes<br>Expense reporting - create/submit/audit/approve expense reports, use Scheduled processes
  • Approval chains work good
  • Expense reporting module is pretty much straightforward
  • Interface is not too user-friendly
  • Too slow
Some existing company processes had to be changed because they couldn't be implemented in Oracle. Some processes still function outside of Oracle, and it doesn't seem like they will ever be implemented into Oracle.

I use finance and SCM modules in [the] cloud. The benefit of using [the] cloud is that form-based applications are no longer required. Java dependency is finished and no need to upgrade java versions. The application can be accessed out [of] the network easily. The application is easy to use as it guides for the next step of action. The option to upload bulk data through excel is a worthwhile feature and it reduces job burden.
  • I no longer need VPN to login into the ERP cloud system.
  • I no longer need Java app required for form based application.
  • Data uploading feature using excel was highly required as it makes user life easy.
  • The application is self explanatory and easy to use.
  • The web page becomes expired if unattended after a specific period of time which is waste of time [whereas], inform base application, it is nothing to worry about. So it needs to be fixed or improved.
  • There should be option of save as draft in cases the page become expired.
  • Informs, there was [the] option of [reading] only access [whereas] web pages in cloud does not allow read only access in various cases like supplier or customer definition pages.
Oracle is well suited for big organizations where data volume is high and complex reporting scenarios are well addressed. The form-based application required big space to store data so it is good for big corporations. For [medium-sized] companies or small enterprises, R12 has much suited to cloud applications.

In my company, we're using in more than 15 companies Oracle Products, and Sap system also. We're using procurement to finance modules (ap,ar,fa,gl, iexpense etc). To evaluate the future investment process we make in [the] next 5 years, we evaluate oracle cloud and other products. Because it was a term investment, we start using [it] to understand the gap and match points with customers especially [the] finance team needs. After [a] detailed and long review process we shared our feedback and future plan with [a] company representative.
  • User friendly screen is not such nice still
  • Localization for my country especially for tax rules or some invoicing process.
  • Mobile application and its future re not enough when we compare some new apps.
  • Not enought automated skills like invoice scanning, voice comments, text search etc.
  • Wide localization process.
  • Automated (without a human) business operations, better rpa solutions, scanning, mobile app, etc
  • Central systems for the company re using more than one erp systems.
  • Better reporting tools
  • Developer source also not such enough maybe to support them in each (in their market) countries.
  • Price policy also
Oracle [Cloud] ERP systems are generally well designed and for a long time they [a]re the market leader, but because of fair adaptation of customer changing demands they stayed below the market innovation bar (needs). Still, similar logic and old version of some process[es] are used. When I compare with the other product like SAP I can easily say some of their product not only cover business need today also give some extra benefits. Other think is so expensive [to] license fee even after USD exchange rate for other countries. Not so module price offer. Poor business interaction point with Oracle country team and their customer, they re visiting triple less than the other companies.

As the program manager at my company, I'm reasonable for the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP for financials & SCM. My client is a retail company [that is also] a retail partner of Samsung. They own 32 stores in the Northeast of Brasil making them one of the biggest users of Linx POS solutions [in the country]. We are integrating Oracle Cloud ERP with Linx POS solutions as my client uses the full financials and SCM solutions to maximize their sales.
  • Improvements compared with Oracle EBS R12
  • All SCM solutions
  • Facilities provided by Dashboards and tools like FBDI to facilitate process integration.
  • We have noticed and we believe in functionalities improvements in new releases
  • Pre-setup TAX configuration for Brazilian and Latin America Countries
  • Oracle shoud provide trainning and templates in order to facilitate implementation. OUM should be reviewed to better adopt Localizations issues.
[I believe] the localization team should improve the TAX functionalities or prepare instances with a previous configuration to reduce the time [it takes to] implement the solutions. [In my view,] this would be valuable and possibly result in reducing the effort and price of implementation. In my current project, we have to review all of the implementations of FDC and TAX. [I believe] we have incurred a huge overrun due to this rework. [In my opinion], the root cause had two pillars: 1) The complexity for the implementors of setting things up accordingly. [With] SAP ECC this process is much easier, [in my opinion]. 2) [As I see it], the [capability] of experienced FDC / FDG / TAX consultants is [quite] poor compared with the demand, resulting in inappropriate consulting rates. As a consequence, [I've discovered quite a few] bad projects [end up] costing [in an] overrun.

The Accounting and Procurement modules of Oracle cloud ERP are used in the organization to carry out the business process effectively. It allows the users to access the information on the system in real time and has thus far reduced redundancy and los of information within the organization. Mangers are able to get proper reports on work done and keep track of the procurements. Well as for me, I assist train users to understand the system as well as manage their accounts and passwords.
  • It requires fewer servers.
  • It is user friendly.
  • Better reporting tools that provides real time information.
  • Reduce cloning time.
  • Provide more backup storage.
  • Improve the workflows.
The oracle modules are well outlined and help users to make informed decisions based on the real information provided on the system. It reduces errors and eliminates data redundancy.

We are currently using it for HR, Finance, Procurement, and Administration. It's a cloud web-based system, very good, and easy to use if you understand. But at times it's difficult to understand for non-technical guys around the office. It has addressed the issue of paperless transactions in the office which is what every organization strives to do in this technological era.
  • Lower operational cost.
  • 100% available since its online.
  • Enhance collaboration.
  • Reduced risk.
  • Most of the features so far are fine.
[Oracle Cloud ERP] has improved operation, its always available online unless it's been updated and, mostly we are told that it will be up at such and such a time. There is a reduced risk of errors since most of the options you need to select are pre-determined which makes life easier for users.
