We use Oracle Cloud ERP to manage enterprise functions including accounting, financial management, project management, and procurement. We also use Oracle Risk Management with embedded artificial intelligence (AI) techniques that automate advanced analysis for ERP role design, segregation of duties (SOX), and preventing financial fraud. Oracle Cloud ERP runs on Oracle technology stack in Oracle's cloud centers so we don't have to maintain servers on our premises.
  • Performance.
  • Comprehensive functionality encompassing all required features needed for our business.
  • Customer support.
  • Implementation guide.
  • Low or no maintenance.
  • To be able to customize any module we use.
  • Some areas of the system could improve on latency.
  • A DIY guide for beginners and junior level analysts to better do their job.
  • Embedded video tutorials for training and knowledge transfer.
We are a publicly-traded healthcare company with over 50000 full-time and part-time employees. We also currently have about 15000 contingent workers in our workforce. Oracle Cloud ERP is very well suited for an enterprise our size. Our financial department relies heavily on Oracle cloud ERP for daily business functions like procurement, supply chain, accounts reconciliation, ledgers, payables, receivables, and supply chain logistics. The executive team uses this system for project management and our risk assessment and management department for Compliance, risk management portfolio.

We are Oracle partners and implement Oracle Cloud ERP for our clients. Previously I worked for one of the largest healthcare organizations in the US and I was implementing with my implementation partners. I have implemented Source to Settle and Demand to Deliver modules. I have done configurations, ran CRP and SIT cycles with end-users. The business problem mainly in healthcare is the standardization of legacy systems to one common ERP system across the healthcare environment
  • completely Browser-based , providing spreadsheets wherever possible to upload mass data
  • Standardization of common business workflows across different verticals
  • ease of use reporting capabilities through Oracle transactional business intelligence
  • integrations to different systems can be complex, most of the time other systems have to adapt to Oracle
  • Some features in Planning are not tested enough and bugs can be encountered when working with end-users
  • the product can take a steep learning curve to learn for end-users across different verticals due to standardization
Well suited: Procure to pay cycles, especially procurement, agreements, requisitions, and purchase orders. Min Max replenishment, Cycle Counting and Physical Inventory, Product management, items and items categories, Organization and enterprise setup, Forecast generation, causal factors, Data collections, PAR replenishment through RF SMart integration, report running and creation through Oracle transaction business intelligence

Cloud storage and procurement ERP was the main business problem that the solution we were looking into to address. We came across Oracle cloud and tried it out. The solution worked well and was affordable. We also got some clients who were looking into Oracle cloud as well for integration into their solutions.
  • Storage Management.
  • Procurement tally.
  • Accounting Management.
  • Integration difficulties.
  • Sub-contractor management.
  • Implementation issues.
If you are looking for an affordable ERP solution that does the basics very well and provides a good hub for accounting and procurement solutions as well as decent analytics and reporting options then Oracle Cloud ERP can be a good platform for you. If you are into comprehensive customizations and require every nook and cranny of your solution to be molded into the specification that you have then it may take a bit of time for you to get where you want to be with the solution.

Key use cases are: 1. Running out professional services operations by the project - project management, time and expense entry, project financials, plan vs actuals, and status reporting. 2. Financial operations - payables, receivables, and business accounting and books.
  • Project lifecycle from proposal to planning, execution, and closeout
  • Financial operations - payables, receivables, and accounting
  • People management
  • Reporting
  • HR operations are very complex
  • UI is very clunky
  • Sub-contractor management is limited
Financial management for professional services in multiple industries is one of the best use cases for Oracle Cloud ERP. It is not ideal for complex use cases like construction management and Give. Contracting that has many use cases not currently supported without multiple extensions - like actual costing, total time accounting, progress payments, unit price billing, etc.

We are partners with a company in India that had a contract with a customer. We consulted them about business issues mainly, but sometimes we were forced to execute some queries and customize ERP based on customers' special needs. The queries had difficulty to being written because we had no access to the description of the tables (the table's fields we not available, so we could not understand the names of the fields very easily to execute the right query
  • Financials
  • Customization
  • Dashboards control
  • Tables integrity
  • Performance
  • Execute queries real-time
  • PL/SQL deployment on site
  • Tables onomatology
  • Foreign keys
  • Training while trying to customize it
For big organizations, it is perfectly working. I don't believe it is a good choice for small companies.

Oracle Financials is one of the most useful and helpful ERP product for banking clients. The EPM and ERP suite together is capable to handle banking products and services provided by large banks to their clients. For ex - Loans, mortgages data can be interfaced to easily using OFSAA. Procurement suite again is so helpful to handle their indirect purchases which supports banking clients with their operations
  • Product functionality catering to Real life cloudiness scenarios
  • Capability of connecting with almost any upstream and downstream systems
  • Reports and Analytics is a powerful tool provided by Oracle
  • Improve the supply chain modules and functionalities
  • The FBDI templates should contains some detailed instructions on how to fill them
  • Improve oracle support quality and issue resolution turnaround time
Oracle ERP is best suited for Banking and insurance clients
Oracle ERP is not a favorite when it comes to Manufacturing and Supply Chain

It's a relatively good product, many functionalities I'm not using due to either error issues or complex in mostly generating projects reports and personal employee data.

Oracle Cloud ERP gives organizations more time to focus on the business side of transformation. Change management and business process management require the same time and resources whether you’re implementing cloud or on-premise ERP.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP does not have many native connectors to other systems so that is a con that I have faced
  • Oracle Cloud ERP system will reduce IT costs after we transition from an on-premise The savings included reduced IT maintenance, decreased fees, and freed up labor resources.

1) reach to fast and real-time access to application data avoids IT assistance and time-consuming data preparation and ensures accurate reporting. 2) Save time and money establishing a data warehouse or data lake in the cloud with minimal data preparation.
  • Reduced costs
  • Improved information sharing and data access
  • Improved data-driven decision making
  • Increased user productivity.
  • improve to ease of use for users without a technical background or experience
  • working on End-user access - users are able to work with the system in little time of training
  • Find the fit solution that's right for seamless integration with chances to automate business processes, speed up functionality, and meet more targets.
For organizations [that] need a system to support advanced and complex financial and resource management processes is well suited, [especially] businesses on a growth track that need an ERP system that will scale up with them.

This is the main ERP system used for everyday work all across the company starting from time cards finishing with Accounting things and even forecasting. The product addresses a wide variety of problems helping the company to keep all information about its employees in one place and working with accounting very easily.
  • Time sheets submittig
  • Keepingh track for diffrent projects
  • Provideng limited access to diffrent types of users
  • UI or user friendlines
  • The speed of work
  • Mobile application
It is a very good product for end-users who has to do a simple task in it, but if you need to go heavy and develop some more different features it may become a problem. It is easy to submit time sheets for users. Easy to manage different project settings It is hard to create new roles and levels of access.

Implemented it back then in 2016 to use Oracle projects management modules for our program, but we faced some issues at the time like performance issues and not being able to create a master project plan and link it to other smaller projects.
  • Easy setup
  • Clear checklist of implemented offerings.
  • Excellent look and feel.
  • Message management.
  • Enhancing the performance.
  • Better integration with other systems.
  • Lacks business-case to justify the cost.

I use finance and SCM modules in [the] cloud. The benefit of using [the] cloud is that form-based applications are no longer required. Java dependency is finished and no need to upgrade java versions. The application can be accessed out [of] the network easily. The application is easy to use as it guides for the next step of action. The option to upload bulk data through excel is a worthwhile feature and it reduces job burden.
  • I no longer need VPN to login into the ERP cloud system.
  • I no longer need Java app required for form based application.
  • Data uploading feature using excel was highly required as it makes user life easy.
  • The application is self explanatory and easy to use.
  • The web page becomes expired if unattended after a specific period of time which is waste of time [whereas], inform base application, it is nothing to worry about. So it needs to be fixed or improved.
  • There should be option of save as draft in cases the page become expired.
  • Informs, there was [the] option of [reading] only access [whereas] web pages in cloud does not allow read only access in various cases like supplier or customer definition pages.
Oracle is well suited for big organizations where data volume is high and complex reporting scenarios are well addressed. The form-based application required big space to store data so it is good for big corporations. For [medium-sized] companies or small enterprises, R12 has much suited to cloud applications.

Oracle ERP Cloud is the first-ever kick of our organization. It gave us easy support with exceptional performance even at a downtime. Oracle ERP Cloud is great in the scalability of mind to help business processes i.e. reporting, finances, project management, risk management, and planning. Oracle ERP Cloud is very helpful in the financial planning and infrastructure of data for the whole company.
  • A proven tool for planning finance effectively while being transparent.
  • A decisive tool to tackle any problem of the project with maximum profit.
  • A robust tool for budgeting as well with all the recovery benefits.
  • Automation of business projects.
  • Limited customizations.
  • Many other organizations can take advantage of this tool if the price can be even more affordable.
  • There is not much room for cons as per our considerations.
Oracle ERP Cloud is very easy to organize data while being cheaper than many other tools in the market. It is offering a lot more modules like project management, financials, procurement, and EPM. Therefore, any business which needs the management of resources should use Oracle ERP Cloud. Highly recommended by our organization as we are currently using its financial module.

In my company, we're using in more than 15 companies Oracle Products, and Sap system also. We're using procurement to finance modules (ap,ar,fa,gl, iexpense etc). To evaluate the future investment process we make in [the] next 5 years, we evaluate oracle cloud and other products. Because it was a term investment, we start using [it] to understand the gap and match points with customers especially [the] finance team needs. After [a] detailed and long review process we shared our feedback and future plan with [a] company representative.
  • User friendly screen is not such nice still
  • Localization for my country especially for tax rules or some invoicing process.
  • Mobile application and its future re not enough when we compare some new apps.
  • Not enought automated skills like invoice scanning, voice comments, text search etc.
  • Wide localization process.
  • Automated (without a human) business operations, better rpa solutions, scanning, mobile app, etc
  • Central systems for the company re using more than one erp systems.
  • Better reporting tools
  • Developer source also not such enough maybe to support them in each (in their market) countries.
  • Price policy also
Oracle [Cloud] ERP systems are generally well designed and for a long time they [a]re the market leader, but because of fair adaptation of customer changing demands they stayed below the market innovation bar (needs). Still, similar logic and old version of some process[es] are used. When I compare with the other product like SAP I can easily say some of their product not only cover business need today also give some extra benefits. Other think is so expensive [to] license fee even after USD exchange rate for other countries. Not so module price offer. Poor business interaction point with Oracle country team and their customer, they re visiting triple less than the other companies.

As the program manager at my company, I'm reasonable for the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP for financials & SCM. My client is a retail company [that is also] a retail partner of Samsung. They own 32 stores in the Northeast of Brasil making them one of the biggest users of Linx POS solutions [in the country]. We are integrating Oracle Cloud ERP with Linx POS solutions as my client uses the full financials and SCM solutions to maximize their sales.
  • Improvements compared with Oracle EBS R12
  • All SCM solutions
  • Facilities provided by Dashboards and tools like FBDI to facilitate process integration.
  • We have noticed and we believe in functionalities improvements in new releases
  • Pre-setup TAX configuration for Brazilian and Latin America Countries
  • Oracle shoud provide trainning and templates in order to facilitate implementation. OUM should be reviewed to better adopt Localizations issues.
[I believe] the localization team should improve the TAX functionalities or prepare instances with a previous configuration to reduce the time [it takes to] implement the solutions. [In my view,] this would be valuable and possibly result in reducing the effort and price of implementation. In my current project, we have to review all of the implementations of FDC and TAX. [I believe] we have incurred a huge overrun due to this rework. [In my opinion], the root cause had two pillars: 1) The complexity for the implementors of setting things up accordingly. [With] SAP ECC this process is much easier, [in my opinion]. 2) [As I see it], the [capability] of experienced FDC / FDG / TAX consultants is [quite] poor compared with the demand, resulting in inappropriate consulting rates. As a consequence, [I've discovered quite a few] bad projects [end up] costing [in an] overrun.

The Accounting and Procurement modules of Oracle cloud ERP are used in the organization to carry out the business process effectively. It allows the users to access the information on the system in real time and has thus far reduced redundancy and los of information within the organization. Mangers are able to get proper reports on work done and keep track of the procurements. Well as for me, I assist train users to understand the system as well as manage their accounts and passwords.
  • It requires fewer servers.
  • It is user friendly.
  • Better reporting tools that provides real time information.
  • Reduce cloning time.
  • Provide more backup storage.
  • Improve the workflows.
The oracle modules are well outlined and help users to make informed decisions based on the real information provided on the system. It reduces errors and eliminates data redundancy.

Oracle Cloud ERP is a cloud-based, all in-one comprehensive business management solution which enables small to medium-sized businesses to upgrade from their entry-level accounting software or legacy ERP system to one single, comprehensive solution that connects sales, service, finance, and operations teams to help them adapt faster and perform better.
  • Automate and eliminate your manual business processes
  • Simplify and speed everyday work
  • Launch new business models, faster
  • Predict, detect, and act on new situations
  • Expense management
  • Resource management
  • Supplier management
No one likes big deltas between forecasts and actuals. Most models though are too limited, relying on sample datasets or just gut feel. Oracle Cloud ERP introduces machine-learning to predictive planning and forecasting so you can utilize broader datasets, reveal hidden bias[es], uncover significant deviations, and speed your overall response time... Oracle’s AI-powered digital assistant simplifies and speeds common tasks, allowing you to ask simple questions like “what’s the status of my open purchase requisitions?” and “what reconciliations are due today?” Personalized tasks like invoices or over-budget notifications are delivered to you proactively, so approvals move faster too.

This tool is not confined to any single department rather it is used in almost all departments. The major utilization of Oracle [Cloud] ERP is in our finance department where it is helping us out in the management of the finances of our organization. We can integrate this tool with other platforms which makes work easier and its reports are quite helpful and it provides security to our data as well.
  • Finances are well managed with the reports it provides and with the records it keeps of our finances.
  • Security it provides is another thing, it is unmatchable.
  • It is quite an expert and time saver in data processing no matter how large it is but it does its task within no time.
  • It has a chat option with the help of which accountants and all the team members can communicate and can inform if there's an issue in the data.
  • Documentation is not enough.
  • I think there's room to make it a more user-friendly tool because finance is very critical work and if the tool would be easy things would get [easier].
  • Oracle Cloud [ERP]’s subscription rate is the most disappointing part about it. I don’t care about the documentation [or] any other flaw but this price issue needs to be solved.
There are many scenarios in which this is the most suitable tool especially when it is about finances. It has the capability to deal and manage finances in multiple ways and the most important part is that the information is secure with this tool and we can even connect it with VPNs. [However,] the subscription rate of this tool makes it not a suitable choice and I am sure it wouldn’t be for many small-scale organizations as they cannot afford it.

It is used across the whole company to make the work easier and all departments are connected .. everything is managed on ERP and we can collect the data easier. It's a really good database I can see all the departments from one place and I can take action according to results collected from these departments. It takes less time to work and I can get any information anytime when I need it.
  • Good reference for database.
  • Managing and watching the results anytime and anyplace.
  • Watching actives done in the company.
  • Improving the front-end with some easier and useful way to mange the data.
It's very good for purchaser response and document control departments and accounting. It's really good to save the data on it and back to them anytime.

[Oracle Cloud] ERP has helped us to speed up our process in many ways but I will highlight only two. First, when applying for a leave, before you needed to obtain a hard copy from the HR department fill it and send it to your boss for approval and then [return it] back to HR. [However, now,] thanks to Oracle [Cloud ERP] you [can] get [that] done in less than two minutes [from] the comfort of your desk. It has also helped us to speed up communication between staff and HR.
  • Speed up processes
  • Helps streamline procedures
  • Speed up requests [and response] time
  • Friendly customizing features
  • Notification to personal email or even text-to-phone for prompt action
  • More education
Oracle [Cloud ERP] has it all, it has a full package on it. When managing an organization with more than 200 staff, data is [gradually] formed. Yes, Oracle [Cloud ERP is a] very good tool to work with, however, not fruitful for smaller companies; I, personally, don't think it will deem that useful for small businesses to have.

Oracle Cloud ERP is being utilized across the entire organization's departments at Verra Mobility. We implemented Oracle Cloud ERP in early 2017 and has helped us to analyze different types of data via self-service Portals. On my end, I mainly use it to manage resources, tasks, and projects.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP has mobility support that allows our business users to manage tasks and resources via mobile devices.
  • With Oracle Cloud ERP, we have been able to be ahead of our competitors by coming up with new innovative products.
  • We have been able to [nurture] team talents by aligning their skills to projects in order to improve productivity.
  • Elimination of manual procedures by automating business procedures. We have automated more than 95% of business processes which allows us to spend less time when analyzing data.
  • I haven't used all the modules on Oracle Cloud ERP to really offer a holistic view [of] functionalities that might not be working. [The] project, portfolio management module has never disappointed.
Oracle Cloud ERP has a wide range of modules ranging from PPM, procurement, financials, risk management, supply chain, among others. Therefore, the list is endless where this tool is best suited. I would not only emphasize my colleague, but also prospects that are looking for robust ERP software to try Oracle.

Oracle Cloud ERP is being used by the entire company. Oracle Cloud ERP helps modernize financial information, keeps track of important data, and is very useful for employee expenses/expense payments and reimbursements.
  • Accurate financial information
  • Expense reporting/expenses
  • Understanding cost allocations/budgets
  • User interface could be a little more modern/better
  • Sometimes it takes a little bit of extra time for data to load
  • Somethings are difficult to understand and live support features would help
Oracle Cloud ERP is incredibly useful for large enterprise organizations that have global and complex needs. Very small businesses do not need this software, but it can be highly configured for what you're looking for.
