Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We have looked into the other ERP systems and seen that there are pros and cons to going cloud and on-premise. As far as user functionality, the Oracle ERP system has more features, but the customer service is horrible compared to the other system. There is no product support past implementation and working with account managers is hard.

Oracle Cloud ERP is more flexible, more negotiable and has better breadth and support worldwide. Their reports are better and speed of implementation is faster. It stacks better since the company is larger, more stable, and has more research and development. There are more references to check with peers too.

I haven't evaluated any other products besides Oracle ERP Cloud. The only other product I knew was OBIEE which is almost replaced by OTBI but without the option of access to repository. Our organization adopted a cloud strategy and decided to move from on-prem to cloud as a step towards cost cutting. This is why we went with migration of our on-prem EBS to Oracle ERP Cloud.

Oracle Cloud ERP clearly has the most robust feature set and track record of delivering great and stable cloud products. If you are confident your company is going to scale and make it through an IPO I'm not sure why you would choose anything else but Oracle Cloud ERP.

There are number other systems available Microsoft AX to SAP. The organization had experience with Oracle in the past and were very with the satisfied with the operations. Also the cost of ownership was much less as compared to traditional on-premise systems

For some special projects where the customer needs defined modules, we use the Oracle platform, which was the works great. Diverse modules, high speed and security, reasonable price compared to its peers in the market is a good and flexible option, The Oracle brand is also a reliable company in organizational solutions.

Vs. SAP S4 HANA Cloud apps - far more nimble and performance is superior. SAP S4 HANA apps - while improved and a process time through put is better - is still slower and a less optimal Cloud ERP solution than Oracle. Think SAP R/3 on-premise moved to the Cloud, and faster due to underlying HANA technology but still burdened by application architecture decisions of the predecessor ERP on-premise solutions.

It's best for business processes with multiple branches, which can be associated with one information base. Information mining is simpler in that case, instead of gathering information from each module. For a finance tool, it is fairly utilitarian. Prophet ERP cloud has numerous modules that possibly may be utilized in our business process.

SAP ERP was alright. And I mean this by saying "it's just okay." Oracle ERP Cloud was nice because we could show the decision makers in our company just how well it was working. At my last company I had SAP ERP and that was more difficult if not impossible. I highly recommend Oracle ERP Cloud over SAP ERP.

Well, simply said there's a reason we USED to be their clients. although their ideas are innovative, Oracles cloud has become the on-stop-shop for everything these programs used to do. We used to have to pay both companies to get the functionality we were looking for but since switching we literally only use Oracle for everything. Honestly has made everyone that stayed on-board's life much easier.

Some clients do favor an on premise solution more than Oracle Financials Cloud. However, the below points work in favor of Oracle Financial cloud.
  1. No overhead of maintaining an on premise solution.
  2. Better reporting capabilities with the cloud.
  3. Has out of box compliance with most regulations and financial standards.
  4. Oracle cloud can be accessed anywhere and doesn't need installation, hardware, etc.

Oracle Cloud ERP is very much ahead of Oracle EBS in two main areas: User Experience and Updates. The user experience is much more modern and familiar to our user base. The forms based setup of EBS is not nearly as intuitive to those users and causes frustration on a regular basis. Oracle EBS is much more difficult to update and receive patches. Often those patches in EBS have many unknown impacts on the customized EBS environment. This makes it much smoother to handle updates and they work with much less impact on day to day business.

Oracle ERP Cloud is cheaper than SAP and offers better integration with other Oracle tools obviously. I am more familiar with Oracle tools therefore I chose Oracle ERP Cloud to work with, and happened to move into a company that uses most of Oracle's cloud tools. I have found that it's easier to integrate RPA with Oracle compared to SAP.

  • Deltek
Deltek's Procurement solution was something that was considered before client finalized the Oracle Cloud Procurement mainly because of its integration and analytics capacity. Plus it scales very well. These factors in combination prompted the client to finally go with Oracle's Procurement Cloud (they also bought the HCM and Finance cloud shortly after).

I miss having Oracle ERP Cloud. It was an easier interface to learn and teach other team members. I wish I got more time to learn all the differnent tools it offers and not just the financial tools.
