Oracle Cloud ERP is one of the most mature enterprise resource planning software that has so much to offer. From my personal experience, I believe that if a company is looking for a seamless sort of integrated asset management in different departments of the company, then Oracle Cloud ERP is a very good option because it comprises different modules that can cater to different industry needs, so it is highly suited for financial reporting, budgeting, and so on and so forth.

I will very much recommend (10/10) Oracle Cloud ERP to every medium-large scale organization. Especially organizations that want to avoid huge IT Infrastructure and resource costs as Oracle Cloud ERP enables to relieve the organization from huge IT investments. It is well suited to work for organizations where there are complex financial and operations structures. Its different products are tightly integrated with each other but still enable different business functions to work based on their policies & procedures. However, for smaller organizations where policies and procedures aren't yet developed up to business function level, or the organizations are solely driven by one department. I will not recommend Oracle Cloud ERP. In my opinion, the single most important advantage of Oracle Cloud ERP is the Integrated but modular approach that enables rule-driven information generation, which other business functions can read and auto-translate for their usage.

As already explained, Oracle Cloud ERP is suited to the finance and accounting team to manage procurement, billing-related activities, and reconciliation of accounts. All these modules are quick to process or generate records which helps the team manage their timing in office hours. They also focus on other areas as they get more time

Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited by large MNCs. It is less appropriate for small and mid-size entities. There are a few Oracle limitations that can be fit by integration and extension.

Oracle ERP Cloud gives me the power to adopt new and updated business models and processes quickly to increase the revenue of organization, quickly reduce the cost, sharpen forecasts and innovate more which is great to have in one platform.

Oracle cloud ERP is well suited for organizations who are already using on premise ERP solutions or for an organization who is recently expanding to multiple geographies or growing inorganically by acquiring companies with existing ERP solutions. So the scenarios where integration with existing solutions or complete visibility due to complicated structure, is required [and] are the most suited for deployment of Oracle ERP Cloud.

Oracle Cloud ERP produceas consistent, correct, and timely data with extensive support throughout the company. It is great for managing source-to-pay transactions through social collaboration and automation while reducing operations costs at the same time. It's much easier to control and reduce financial risks because of the secured risk control repository feature.

There are other ERP systems out there, but Oracle Cloud ERP is great for invoice entry automation and charts for account management. Since it is purely in the cloud, you do not need a team to manage the IT-related things with this platform. If you are looking for a custom ERP with in-house databases, this is not the system.

It is not well suited to matching cash purchases to customers or when customers pay a lump sum for multiple invoices. It requires this to be split manually and matched to each Individual invoice. Which is quite time consuming! We also have difficulty integrating with some of our other systems or terminals.

Scenarios where Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited - The scenarios where Financials are used like Payables, Receivables, Asset Management, Expense Management with efficient real-time reporting of the financial status at any point. Scenarios where Oracle Cloud ERP is less appropriate - The scenarios where the size of the organization is relatively small, the number of financial transactions per day is significantly lower.

Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited for setting up and maintaining a General Ledger and all of the other sub-ledgers, G/L and bank account reconciliations, journal entries and accounting movements, having a cloud database to securely maintain the organization's financial data, reporting internally and externally. It is also more than capable of consolidations of legal entries to be prepared for the external auditor.

Oracle cloud ERP is well suited for organizations that require minimal customization. Cloud experience is a lot different from on-prem experience that the implementers should make sure that they enlighten the clients with what they should expect from the system. If the customers have legacy databases that they used to update for external system interactions, they should find alternatives if they decide to move to cloud. In Saas cloud they don't have access to backend database so they should be prepared to have proper middlewares in place to do the job for them or have custom API scripts ready to do this job otherwise.

Oracle Cloud ERP is a great (IMO the best) option for a growing startup to tackle their accounting system needs. It's comforting knowing that you will not need to migrate off of a system by choosing something with a robust feature set.

As a senior IT consultant, I am an ERP supporter in the organization. Oracle Cloud ERP is also one of the best options available in the market, which in addition to speed, also has a very high level of safety. Elimination of paperwork, and transparency in all sectors is born with the advent of this platform in the organization, and accounting, warehousing, production and distribution of goods and services, and manpower productivity also increase.

While all core modules are very functionally rich, and can support/run any business well, the only concern would be where integration to any other cloud or on-premises ERP modules from a different ISV would be involved, as direct customizations for integration is not permitted to any Oracle Public Cloud solutions (SaaS or other). One would need to rely on APIs alone, and hopefully these would provide connections to other third-party packages/legacy solutions in the client's landscape.
