Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

It is a software with characteristics similar to other software, but with greater scalability, with Oracle CX Marketing we increase sales, attract many customers and increase our positioning, it is a software that generates good attention from new customers and great commitment from old customers. Let's hope we never stop using Oracle CX Marketing for our future benefits.

Eloqua: getting it done

It is currently serving our needs. Although there are hiccups, the benefits we are getting outweighs them. We have actually just upgraded our package that includes more features. We are in the process of exploiting these new features and aiming to achieve a new level of efficiency. In the meantime, we are working on revamping our lead conversion and delivery process by utilizing more of Eloqua.

It has the most robust tools available for marketing automation and lead prospecting, but it also carries some usability issues (version 9) and a less-than-stellar tech support team. It also has a lot of functionality that I could not take advantage of, as I was marketing a B2C product.

Currently we have many programs set up in Eloqua. It is a complex system and so it will take a long time to get setup on a new system. There is also a fear that some stuff wouldn't be able to be transitioned and how to do redirects/be sure that everything is moved in time to prevent user issues. Eloqua does seem to be a rather expensive solution though, so that alone always makes it a possible reason to switch.

Price is always a factor. Switching from one platform for another is almost never a lateral move. If you intend to switch purely for monetary reasons, you may want to reconsider due to the large step backwards to do so. This will cost more than the savings would catch up to in years. If you have legitimate concerns about the platforms performance, I would do a lot of research to make sure the competitor doesn't have the same or worse. Also, another thing to consider is with a newer platform competitor means fewer experts to turn to, either as consultants or new hire employees. A lot of the times customers tend to think the grass is greener on the other side, but really the grass is greener where you water it.

I am very satisfied with Eloqua. We continue to expand our use of the tool and it's capabilities. Combining it with the Sirius Decisions frameworks have dramatically improved the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing and sales teams. I have not come across a competitor that can match the total value of this system.

We have been able to automate so many marketing processes with Eloqua over the past 5 years that the only direction would be to adopt the latest and greatest features Eloqua adds. The alternative would be to go back to the marketing stone-age and start over again. And we would rather move forward with increased automation and efficiency.

I love using the Eloqua platform and working with people in the Eloqua community. I cannot currently imagine using another platform. When I recently changed jobs, one of the things that attracted me was that they had already chosen Eloqua. If they hadn't then I would have insisted on having it.

It would be an 8 or 9 but Oracle would need to spend a bit more time on reporting performance and usability. Eloqua is a great system with a lot of potential but it would be nice to spend your time a bit more efficient when working with it on a day-to-day basis.

The transition to Oracle Support has been a bit rough. It's not quite as easy as it used to be when Eloqua was running the show. If it doesn't get any more difficult and the quality of support is maintained, there will be no issue. But if support quality is degraded over throughout the rest of our term, that will be a major consideration when it comes time to renew.
