  • Eloqua has helped us with our overall strategy. Building a campaign requires us to think through certain steps, and the effect of this planning is a more cohesive customer experience. This is great for "branding" but it's also great for the bottom line. Since we started with Eloqua, revenue has tripled. Eloqua's contribution to this growth is at least 33%.
  • Our sales team can focus better because lead scoring tells them who best fits our ideal customer profile, and which of those people are showing interest through their engagement with us. We have a healthy pipeline and lead scoring allows our sales team to use their time more efficiently.

  • We can definitely handle more campaigns with fewer people, minimizing human capital. The sales tools directly impact the standardization of the sales process and gives an advantage to our sales team by exposing them to prospect's digital behavior (especially the email notifications). This eliminates cold calling all together. Also, due to the ease of setting up a variety of nurture streams, we don't have to focus on nurturing once our campaigns are underway, until we update the streams. Little time is spent in-house on training because of Eloqua University and the increased intuitiveness of the tool (especially if you have past MAT experience.

  • I never believe a tool is responsible for things like "increased ROI" and "faster lead conversion" - it is a company's business practices that are responsible for these things. That said, Eloqua allows us to more easily execute better, more integrated programs that allow our marketing team to focus less on execution and more on optimization.
  • Ability to report on marketing campaign results throughout the demand funnel, making it easier to enforce lead management accountability and marketing ROI.

  • The ROI has been around £9 for every £1 we've invested a straight conversion increase. This does include items where without testing we would have done that would of lost revenue.

  • Our Responsys email marketing campaigns drive traffic to our web site and contribute significantly to our annual revenue.
  • The Responsys interface is easy to use. Feature and functionality enhancements over the past couple of years have greatly improved our productivity related to email marketing. We spend much less time generating our weekly promotional emails than we would without Responsys.
  • We recently implemented the Responsys integration with Omniture. We're seeing positive conversion rates with our new abandoned cart emails.

  • Utilizing Eloqua to create reminder emails to webinar registrants increased the participation in our webinars by an average of 15%. It was really great to be able to send that out the day before the webinar to just those who had registered and see more of them remember to log in and participate.
  • Database cleanup is easy to do thanks to the filters in Eloqua. This also goes for segmenting lists for other campaigns as well. It allowed us to be more efficient as a marketing team and focus more on the message instead of having to manually select who we were targeting the message to.
  • Greater cooperation between the Marketing team and the Bus Dev and Sales teams thanks to the integration with CRM software. This resulted in more tailored approaches in sales outreach to prospective clients and quicker conversion times as well.

  • Much better insight into customer behavior - we've been able to get a better idea of how audiences for our various websites differ from each other, even in the same geographic regions. This helps with our employee efficiency as we're better able to make decisions on how to address our customers online. This information is also shared with our offline marketing teams to help create a more cohesive overall approach.
  • We've seen significant decreases in our bounce and exit rates, helping us to widen the funnel and bring more customers deeper into our sites. We've also tested into higher adds to cart on product pages and higher overall conversion, leading to lifts in our target metrics.
