Oracle Eloqua is the most flexible enterprise marketing automation tool I have used within my current organization and also, many other business units. From managing assets to ranking the inquiries, leveraging built-in features and processes, to the Sales System, Eloqua makes the marketer's life so much easier.

Eloqua is used by nearly every marketer in our organization, globally. And, if they're not using it themselves, they're getting data and metrics from it. For us, Eloqua addresses the business need to be able to view all our interactions with prospects and clients in one consolidated tool. It also has enabled our company to go through a transformation where we're more customer-centric. Now, we focus more on what a specific buyer type would be interested in receiving from us, rather than blasting out our message in emails and other channels. It helps show that marketing can be a revenue center, rather than a cost-center.

Eloqua gives us the tools to manage a very targeted email approach with a very small team. The multi-step email campaigns and various connections with other platforms really gives us a lot of value and help us with segmenting target groups across the globe.
It's a lot of setting up, but really worth it.

We implemented Responsys 4 years ago to take our email marketing to the next level. We have integrated with multiple data sources to trigger, test, and deliver highly segmented campaigns. We currently use it for all promotional, transactional, and automated campaigns.

Oracle Eloqua enables the user on planning and deploying campaigns while collecting and providing customer experience for their prospects. It's an excellent tool to automate marketing. Also, it gives the end user the capability to categorize our database by allowing us to market and leverage all initiatives to the correct demographics. It's primarily used for B2B marketing strategy and the system allows us to create automation which in the IT department is the best way to approach to leverage resources by creation scripts. I haven't heard of another marketing automation vendor that provides this type of flexibility.

Oracle Marketing Cloud (Responsys) enables automated lifecycle marketing and automated dynamic 1:1 marketing campaigns. The product offering is more advanced than any other vendors I've reviewed. Because of the revenue that email drives it doesn't make sense to select anything less than the best. Some of the competitive products had very confusing pricing models and cobbled together software application modules. Oracle and Responsys has a one-stop-shop solution.

Maxymiser is core to improving website performance. We take a hybrid approach and do some tests in-house using the Visual Campaign Builder (VCB) tool and make use of the managed services team for more complex tests. This allows us to be really flexible and get small/quick tests from concept to live within as little as a week. The Maxymiser team are always helpful and full of ideas about how we can improve conversion and take our optimisation program to the next level.
Using the MaxSegment tool, we are starting to create more complex rules about who sees tests and moving towards a more personalised experience for our visitors.
The platform has been improved significantly since we first started using it and each update has brought more new and exciting features to the table, something which is missing from a lot of other similar tools which I've used in the past.

Eloqua is being used by our lead generation team. Eloqua is on the one side being used as a database tool for our big pool of suspects. On the other hand, we use Eloqua as a full fledge automation tool for email, print and telemarketing campaigns. We are using the full package: emails, landing pages, forms, program builder, data tools and reporting function.

The Eloqua suite is very powerful and has brilliant support resources like Topliners and the Eloqua University. With the reward and badge system in Topliners, it really encourages you to learn as much as possible. As a novice user always looking for information, the training and support areas are solid as are the community resources.

If you are an enterprise company, Oracle Eloqua is the platform for you. The choices after that seem to take into account sacrificing certain aspects of marketing automation in exchange for a lower cost. If you want a scalable tool, this is the one for you. They have years on their closest competitor which means a lot more integration experience and native connections than possible with other tools. For an SMB, you have a lot of options in the space and using Eloqua might be like driving a Ferrari to pick up groceries; however, they have a pricing model and edition trim for SMB, as well. You don't have to drive the Ferarri, there is a grocery-getter, as well.

I have used the tool for 7 years mostly in conjunction with Salesforce.com and the integration between those two systems is cake-walk. The amount of time these two have been partners really shows in it's native connectivity strength.

Some features that likely only a power user/consultant would notice were deprecated in E10, but are slowly making their way back due to E9 fan-fare. The front-end application has transferred so much functionality to the entry-level user allowing them to build affective emails, email nutures, etc giving regular marketing users the ability to do more with less and rely less on power users who can now focus on the harder stuff for unique business cases in program builder, etc.

Eloqua is Software-as-a-Service and is constantly being patched and upgraded, so naturally there are some quirks and bugs. I understand this. If I wanted static software that was bulletproof, I would buy a CD. Hang tight and these issues will get resolved. 7 years of experience with Eloqua is telling you this.

One area that has fallen behind is the Eloqua Support, likely due to the acquisition and hoping this is just a growing pain, which is the impression that I am getting. There are a few more hoops to jump through and the new Oracle Support interface wasn't the easiest to transition into, but once you have tickets open--they get responded to just like before.

Eloqua is our Marketing Automation Platform. We leverage it for all outbound communications, landing pages, and forms; primarily focused on Demand Generation. We track all online activity through it. Eloqua allows us to easily set up targeted, multi-touch campaigns and it is fully integrated with our CRM (SFDC). It allowed us to dramatically improve deliverability rates of our campaigns and improved our visibility to success with it's reporting. Most importantly we are now able to track campaign investment all the way to revenue of four B2B organization.

We used Eloqua across the organization. In marketing, we used Eloqua for nurturing and scoring prospects as well as running customer programs to support Client Services and the Account Management teams. We have multiple products, so our set up was somewhat complicated. Overall Eloqua allowed us to ramp up our content marketing efforts because it gave us a way to score leads based on ongoing engagement instead of just those that explicitly asked to be contacted by sales for more info. The sales team also had access to Eloqua via Prospect Profiler and Engage. In theory this helped them understand what a prospect was interested in and track their own emails, but unfortunately we had a lot of problems with Engage.

There are six division at my organization that have their own instance of Oracle Eloqua. We use this system to generate qualified leads for sales. This is accomplished marketing automation of lead generation, scoring and nurturing. First, leads are generated by automated marketing campaigns. Then a lead scoring program determines which leads are ready for sales follow-up and which need to be further nurtured. And the leads that aren't ready for sales, can automatically need nurtured through marketing programs. This process has increased revenue and decreased our sales cycle time.

Eloqua is the primary marketing automation platform that serves as the foundation for all demand generation programs. It is used to automate outbound email communications; nurture marketing qualified leads; and to score leads based on demographic and behavioral intelligence. Eloqua is used by over 100 field marketing and online marketing personnel across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Eloqua is being used in two business units but it will become the corporate standard for marketing automation. Our Cloud Business Unit has been using Eloqua for almost two years and uses most of Eloqua's functionality.

One of the most important projects is the development, production and deployment of marketing playbooks. In order to support the roll-out into new countries we have been working hard on creating and deploying marketing playbooks for each and every target group.

The playbooks are developed for specific target audiences and contain a complete ready-to-use demand generation campaign for all countries in order to generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). A playbook describes a complete campaign with the various customer buying phases including all automated flows and content.

Eloqua is the hub of our entire marketing program. Our marketing team is small, but every person we add is added as a user and trained to think about our customer's journey through the buying process. Management appreciates the visibility it provides into each touch point and how our customers respond. Our sales team relies on our outbound and inbound programs, as driven by Eloqua. The integration with Salesforce creates automatic data enrichment and keeps our sales agents apprised of our leads' level of engagement through the sales funnel. Even though we are fairly simple in our use of the platform, we've created efficiencies and value that we wouldn't have without Eloqua.

We use Maxymiser for A/B and MVT testing across our desktop and mobile websites, and also behavioral segmentation and personalization. We leverage Maxymiser as a core component of the strategic online work-streams meaning that it touches many different areas of the online business at any one time. The business problem it addresses is primarily in validating assumptions, whether that is about how can we optimise the journey to increase conversion, or how best should we present this proposition or service to the customer, and where in the journey. It is a flexible solution from a technology standpoint, but equally we get a huge amount of value from the team/service side of Maxymiser

Maxymiser has been integrated completely into the web development process. Every major change that is made to the ao.com website is tested using the Maxymiser tool. We have invested in a dedicated team to really drive the product at 100 miles an hour and we've seen some real results from doing so. The tool has allowed us to have the confidence that what goes live works, and what is already live can be optimised to be better. Since implementing Maxymiser into the development process it has given the senior team the confidence to step back and allow the team to crack on because the process works and can be backed up with the numbers. What makes this tool a standout from all other testing tools, is that the numbers it reports will reconcile with your analytics giving you even more confidence it is working.

Maxymiser is being used to deliver multivariate tests across all of our platforms (mobile, desktop and tablet). We are looking at complex users problems associated with straight conversion and value added products. We also use the self service tool to manage simpler creative and placement tests to get quicker answers.

I used Eloqua at a previous employer as a member of the marketing team. The marketing teams across each global region had access and utilized it in a variety of ways (keeping track of databases of prospective clients, creating landing pages and forms for events and promotions, email campaigns, etc).
