Eloqua is very scalable with its campaign, web and program functionality, including its ability to integrate with other large software like Adobe, Salesforce, Twilio, etc. Eloqua allows the ability to get more advanced and build ontop of its existing functionality.

Oracle Eloqua is particularly well-suited for handling large amounts of data. We have utilized Custom Objects to do some extremely complex, personalized campaigns where 100% accuracy was absolutely vital, such as onboarding new reps and sending them emails with their old and new rep codes. It has allowed us to be nimble and agile in implementing solutions that would've taken our internal IT department months to implement.

We have been able to scale our marketing for our database of about 100k nurses and 100k clients. We are able to automate the recruitment process of about 80-100 job applicants a day, and push them through our process with progressive profiling and automated reminders.

We are able to scale our client marketing in the same way.

Eloqua is pretty good at handling large databases and process that information. However, their inability to centrally control (modifying) different assets, makes it difficult to mass update changes on various different assets (Marketo has this feature available in their product).

This platform is not scalable for us, as most members of our marketing team would not know how to navigate the system. Even if we set up a process for marketers to create their own emails and landing pages, the interface is too complicated for the team to even start. We limit the number of users who even have access to the system, let alone the option to send emails or build landing pages.

Oracle Eloqua is built for enterprises, meaning that it is extremely scalable to enterprises and accommodate its growth trajectory. Our email volume has grown from thousands to millions, and Eloqua has handled the growth without any issues or hiccups. If anything, with the growth in volume, we needed Eloqua's intelligence to segment for us and personalize the experience automatically. This is what Eloqua is built to do.

We are using just a field merge for personalization, but dynamic content in emails is something we are looking into as well. Scalability obviously depends on data quality and how well the Eloqua is integrated with other business systems in use. We have not done much of it, but as far as I know, there are a lot of possibilities to do this.

It has allowed us some huge efficiency wins as we send emails to over 20+ countries and building/sending emails to that many countries/languages can get incredibly complex and time consuming. It's allowed us to build one intelligent email that sends different content to different people based on contact criteria, location, language, etc.

Eloqua maintains the speed and performance of its software despite the size of the contact database, the number of campaigns running on the platform, and the number of assets being created and managed. As marketing makes more and better use of Eloqua, it continues to perform.
