(76-100 of 175)Oracle Database 12c review
- It is expensive to run compared to the tons of open-source database software available.
Oracle Database is Unparalleled
- It is very expensive to run. This takes away from the businesses bottom line and makes the decision-makers look at other options even though those options are not as well suited for their business needs
Rock Solid Oracle Database 12c
- Database performance improved after migrating to 12cR1
- Maintenance time decreased after migrating to 12cR1
- Security improved after migrating to 12cR1
Fine and robust product
- We use it to store users data, and then use it to plan and/or develop improvements on the products we offer them.
Oracle Database, bringing it back.
- Oracle support - support time is very slow, staff knowledge is lacking, and often support staff doesn't know the products. We get passed around too many support staff during the support process.
Oracle Database is the best
- We have been using it for the last 20 years. It has much less downtime and really helps us run the business.
- Our business achievements & gains are far more than what we have invested in Oracle Database.
- Overall growth of the business has not negatively impacted the business objective, with Oracle Database helping us grow.
Oracle DB12c for OLTP or DWH usage

- Easy to maintain.
- Smarter usage of hardware.

Oracle Database
- We primarily use an Oracle Database with our ERP software. 65% of our business runs on Oracle EBS.
- We also use Oracle Database for the data warehouse. It's extremely useful for reporting in OBIEE.
- Overall, the return on investment is pretty good. It's really hard to point out the ROI on Oracle Database specifically. Most often it comes in a package with either the ERP software or reporting/data warehouse software.
- Good Business outcome. We use Google’s analytics tool and other tools like heat maps for knowing about the traffic. Previously our clients’ websites were slow when checked with GTmetrix but after using this, we experienced better performance in speed and page load timings which results in more traffic and good engagement with customers and good business for clients.
- Can handle larger traffic when using this product.
Oracle is Great for In-house Development
- We were a little late to the BI party. But, once we started using Oracle for BI and analytics, we REALLY started to get our money's worth.
- Oracle's analytic functions are second to none. It can crunch, pivot, sum and analyze faster than any tool I've seen. Using these features saves processing and development time.
Oracle database version with wonderful features and user friendly which helps to overcome limitations of older versions
- Oracle Database 12C had just positive impact on our overall business objectives as we could make full use of Flex cluster, Flex ASM and it saved our transactions during node failure.
- We have installed OEM 12C in one server using which we monitor Oracle 11g, 12C databases and we monitor hosts and goldengate which has eased the server administration
Oracle - Reliable Enterprise Relationship SQL Database
- High performing and reliable Database means fewer database problems (we only needed a single DBA).
- Oracle certifications are fairly common and can be an easy way to filter and identify quality SQL developers. Saves time in the search process.
- Vast amounts of Oracle community forums and blogs provide easy and accessible support for various issues.
Oracle Databases - Extremely Powerful In The Right Hands
- Oracle databases are critical to our business. Using the products allows us to conduct business far more efficiently than without the use of them.
- We have endless reporting available to us via Oracle databases. They are essentially a warehouse of data waiting to be used. Whether we write custom queries to pull the data we need or use any of our various Oracle applications (some with built-in reports), we can pull out the data we need to better manage our business.
- As with most Oracle products, they come with a usually substantial price tag. But I believe the ROI from Oracle databases more than make up for it.
Oracle, the best Relational Database
- It is agile, consistent and robust, therefore it has only brought back good returns to the company.
- Added more reliability to the overall work process of the company.
- NO negatives, as far as I can think of.
Oracle Database 12c: Recommended for critical data security
- ROI is positive because we are pretty sure that our data is highly secured and it controls the access.
- In the express industry, Oracle is still considered as the best and most reliable data storage solution
- The only negative point is also well known, the license cost of Oracle, making a lot of small or medium companies opt for some cheaper and open source solutions
- Oracle database 12c is very stable, it reduced a lot of downtime for us, thus we have a greater ROI.
It's the Oracle Rock in the Cloud Sky !!!
- Good improvements on business objectives with 12c architecture.
- License cost is much higher compared to their lower versions
- On a large scale, 12c plays a very important factor in terms of container DB
The best database that money can buy!
- Improved performance (and query speed)
- High reliability (and reduced manual intervention)
- Better integration with other existing products and apps
Oracle 12c - The difference
- Positive - Your database is high secure
- High Availability
- Help meet business goals more efficiently and effectively
12c quick review
- Not on business side so cannot comment in honesty.
Have enjoyed being an Oracle DBA ...
- Oracle delivers what it promises in functions and performance. We have enjoyed using it
- Cost is always an issue. If cheaper DBs can provide what we need, they will be considered.
- Some applications require Oracle to run at the backend. SAS is becoming a popular model where we don't have to care about the backend database.
Oracle, the robust core for our data!
- Stability
- Standardization
- Trust
Oracle 12c out of the box
- Using best in class most recent release allows us to stay on top of security concerns.
- Data protection and patch availability.
- Vendor tech support at maximum level.
