Oracle Dyn Managed DNS is very usable. The interface is pretty intuitive, most of the options needed are exposed in the places you would expect. If you use other DNS products you will find the interface familiar. Unfortunately the interface is slow sometimes. It would also benefit from some refreshment, to be more up to date with modern web design.

Our experience has been that the user interface for Dyn DNS is relatively simple and yet fully functional. We have also found that DYN DNS has all the features we have needed including some lesser used ones like the ability to reroute a DNS query to a fully qualified URL path.

It is very easy to use Oracle Dyn Managed DNS, and we have trained several employees on how to make changes. The interface is so easy that we are confident that even with several users, that things will not go wrong because of the checks Oracle Dyn Managed DNS puts in place, such as confirming and publishing your changes.

API SDKs are available to allow integration automation with a limited amount of development time.

Portal usability could use some work in the reporting section. Again, different customers will have different experiences here based on the number of zones managed - large, high-traffic single domain sites will have a different experience than platforms managing thousands of active client site domains.

Portal is nice and updated compared to other providers we've worked with: Neustar, TZO (acquired by Dyn)

The interface is slightly dated and could be made more friendly. Other providers are slightly more modern in this area, which does mean the initial learning curve is higher, but once you know how Oracle Dyn Managed DNS denotes things and how the workflow goes, using the system then becomes a snap.

Need more instruction on how to navigate the system. Often when I receive instructions from other parties to connect DNS, it doesn't match what I'm faced with in the Dyn Dashboard.

The interface is old, slow and clunky. I often forget where to look for a setting, since I only log in once a month at most. With that said, it gets the job done. I find that I'm able to navigate to the right pages and make changes easily. I will say that the changes are often propagated quickly, which they have limited control over, but I still appreciate it when it happens so quickly.

Web interface and API are both hard to understand. Setting up users and api keys is also very hard to understand.

I feel the Dyn product design is quite dated, and that features have been bolted on over the years, leading to a product that is cumbersome.
