Our company is so heavily invested in Oracle, it doesn't make sense for us to switch to another product. And the Oracle eBusiness Suite provides all the functionality we really need from an ERP system. We have integrations with some of Oracle's newer cloud-based products which allows us to extend the functionality of EBS.

Our company is heavily invested in Oracle and it would be a huge undertaking to move away from this platform which would probably make it a bad value proposition.

After almost 5 years, we have a full control of this ERP System. We are able to implement new functionalities and modules without any major "consulting" expenses. As of today we are making almost 90% of the personalization/customization and implementation all in house. Once [it] is tuned, [it] keeps running very well with no major issues.

It is extremely expensive and distruptive to implement ERP systems. We have taken the 'no customizations' approach to EBS and keep current (within a year) with the latest releases. Upgrading is relatively easy but does take a large amount of testing by the user community. We reinvested in new hardware and will likely stay on this platfrom for 5 - 7 years.

Today, E-Business Suite is probably the industry leading transactional ERP package, and my expectations are that it will only get better over time with standardized solutions becoming available in future releases. This product is relatively easy to upgrade and use. It manages all of our core processes with ease.
