The level of scalability since the arrival of Eloqua is very high, mainly considering the positive results with the marketing activities that we are developing, I consider that it is very scalable and we can develop new strategies thanks to Eloqua. Furthermore, I consider that we have improved significantly and believe that we can continue innovating.

Eloqua is definitely good for larger companies that have 100,000+ contacts and complex marketing workflows and data. Personalization is fairly robust with Eloqua for larger campaigns with smart content and features. Scaling across channels is also seamless - as the platform has great options for non-email channels like SMS, Direct Mail, Chat, etc.

Indeed the tool scalability is a strong feature. We at Ingersoll Rand had a few opportunities to add new modules/features to overcome some initial obstacles and this has always been an option with Eloqua. From the use of "Wash Machines" on Automation program Logics and filters to Custom objects.

I feel like organizations large and small can benefit from Oracle because it easily integrates into ERP, CRM, and is an efficient way for sales reps to micro-market. It has a cunning way of using stars and chili peppers to track and score leads based on their engagement. It works really well in a large corporation.

The biggest factor for giving this a 5 is the performance configuration of a POD, which is tied to other companies using this application on the same pod. Leading to a limitation on the overall performance on a POD/server when other companies are using too much resources.

It has impacted us in the sense that the tracking script dedicated to one instance was not sold to us as a limiting factor, but it was, as there seems to be a threshold of hits you can have every day.

Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud) offers implementation services. Its solution architecture and implementation is customized based on the company’s needs. They can help with data model design, setting up specific workflows for content marketing practices, understand data and how data fits your needs, integrating your existing CRM, point of sale, or other marketing data. All this is very helpful when deploying to other channels or regions.

Oracle Eloqua scales well for us when we use it globally for multiple marketing functions. It delivers email messages properly and reaches customers' inbox as expected. Customers are able to view the emails on their computers, phones, and tablets without any problems. So far we don't have a problem with scalability even though the number of accounts keeps growing.

The platform offers features such as dynamic content and progressive profiling that help to provide customer personalization and a better user experience across different channels. Eloqua is truly an enterprise-grade cloud marketing platform It is versatile, feature rich and hence complex but at the same time, powerful and scalable. For instance, it has granular security access control at contact level (but it can be a lot of work to use).

Although I did have several points on a previous question on what it can do better, you really can't doubt that Oracle Eloqua is extremely scalable and flexible depending on the marketing campaign. I gave it a 9 because even though it is scalable, there is a large learning curve that may prevent organizations from using the product widely across multiple departments that may have less experience with similar platforms.

Scalability overall is decent, and much of the core API integrations are there, too. I would think Oracle Eloqua would be a good choice for those looking to achieve rapid growth while managing a lot of deep data sets. If anything, though, trying to migrate off of a tool like this would be quite challenging if it was used at an enterprise scale.

The platform is powerful and has the potential to scale well, but be forewarned that this is not a simple undertaking. Eloqua is an enterprise-grade marketing automation platform, and with the power and scalability comes the inevitable complexity that's required to manage that scale. We found that we could segment data and user groups well given the native options, and have a roadmap plan to scale its use out to other groups within the organization.

We have expanded our database by 4x since our initial deployment. We have experienced minimal growing pains other than needing to expand our contract to accommodate the larger database. Adding additional users is also straightforward.

Ever since we migrated over to Oracle Eloqua, we have had no problems in trying to personalize marketing at scale. Scaling settings are now being automatically set based on the workload we throw at it, and we haven't had any downtime or delays in our email marketing campaigns. Oracle Eloqua has taken the burden of configuring scaling off of our marketing teams, enhancing their productivity.

It was the only marketing automation solution that was able to scale our business without breaking the system. Other smaller marketing automation solutions were not able to scale as effectively. It has good cross channel marketing functions that can connect email, social, search and display channels.
