Oracle Cloud ERP is one of the most well-known Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, which is used by several organizations and clients all around the world. Oracle Cloud ERP has enhanced the user experience and provided them with better expertise in analyzing different types of data in various modules. My company has been using Oracle Cloud ERP for a very long time now in different types of work like managing account receivables and account payables and so on.
  • When you have everything centralized on a single platform, it just gets so much easier to stay updated and do well in business from so many angles.
  • Moreover, Oracle Cloud ERP is a cloud-based company, it is easy to use and works because it just automates the entire business process.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP has been undoubtedly a great find for my company and me as the cloud-based program has actually proven quite beneficial for us.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP has some minor disadvantages that, if improved, can enhance the overall user experience to a great extent. Firstly, Oracle Cloud ERP does not have many native connectors to other systems, so that is a con that I have faced.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP lacks well-thought leadership on different key topics, so that is another miss I have noticed in Oracle Cloud ERP.
Oracle Cloud ERP is one of the most mature enterprise resource planning software that has so much to offer. From my personal experience, I believe that if a company is looking for a seamless sort of integrated asset management in different departments of the company, then Oracle Cloud ERP is a very good option because it comprises different modules that can cater to different industry needs, so it is highly suited for financial reporting, budgeting, and so on and so forth.

Oracle ERP Cloud assisted Bahri - KSA to streamline their business processes in the following business functions/departments:
1. Finance Function
2. HR Function
3. Procurement Function
4. Business Planning Function

Additionally, it is used to interact with Bahri commercial systems (for Customer and Supplier transactions) through Oracle Cloud Integration tools. It was a transition project from the existing Oracle EBS system to Oracle Cloud ERP. This transition enabled Bahri to:
1. Digitalize business processes, especially around Support Business Functions.
2. Enhance user experience with an easier business application interface.
3. Enhanced experience through different Mobile Applications for the said functions.
4. Ease of Reporting through built-in Intelligence Tools.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP has the most comprehensive accounting engine to cater to various Financial Reporting needs.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP has real strength in balancing control & flexibility through its modular yet integrated Business Functions approach.
  • Its reporting capabilities are now enhanced and need very little effort and skills to develop, which empowers users with the Analytics they want.
  • It is fit for every organization because of its interoperability with other Business Applications through integrations
  • Documentation: They must improve in their documentation. There are a lot of features that aren't mentioned in Oracle Online's available guides. Users only come to know after using or exploring it.
  • Production processes: Oracle Cloud ERP has a long way to go to address Core Production processes. They have made progress through Primavera, but this only addresses the planning bit and not the core design-driven execution.
  • Support: This point actually ties back to documentation. But Support teams should be equipped with the latest tools, and considering cloud structure, they should have more access to the problem identification. So the support level should also enhance with new product capabilities.
I will very much recommend (10/10) Oracle Cloud ERP to every medium-large scale organization. Especially organizations that want to avoid huge IT Infrastructure and resource costs as Oracle Cloud ERP enables to relieve the organization from huge IT investments. It is well suited to work for organizations where there are complex financial and operations structures. Its different products are tightly integrated with each other but still enable different business functions to work based on their policies & procedures. However, for smaller organizations where policies and procedures aren't yet developed up to business function level, or the organizations are solely driven by one department. I will not recommend Oracle Cloud ERP. In my opinion, the single most important advantage of Oracle Cloud ERP is the Integrated but modular approach that enables rule-driven information generation, which other business functions can read and auto-translate for their usage.

Oracle Cloud ERP is being used by the Procurement teams. We are using the Oracle Cloud ERP within the organization to help in between teams and project groups. We can go with Oracle ERP Cloud because of user-friendliness, reliable service, allows real-time updates, and excellent customer support so far.
  • It has a querying tool that is user-friendly in order to create, schedule, and ad-hoc reports, or monitor information being entered into the system.
  • We can manage a wide variety of financial solutions of the company like managing contracts, tracking project cost, fetch vendor information, budgeting, accounts payable.
  • Provides the privilege's to do integration with other systems.
  • Ability to handle a large company with multiple platforms.
  • Interfacing with other 3rd party vendors takes a while and could be done quicker
It is well suited for financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting/planning.
It would be great if more red papers were written on best practices for system configuration based on different variety of scenarios.

Oracle ERP is being used in my company by our finance team to manage billing, procurement, and generate PO orders. Reconciliation is too good in this where the team is able to manage reconciliation in a timely manner. This product is fast too which helps employees to finish tasks quickly compared to others
  • Billing
  • Finance accounting
  • Reconciliation
  • Shortcut key
  • Sometimes slow
As already explained, Oracle Cloud ERP is suited to the finance and accounting team to manage procurement, billing-related activities, and reconciliation of accounts. All these modules are quick to process or generate records which helps the team manage their timing in office hours. They also focus on other areas as they get more time

Oracle Cloud ERP is used by the whole organization as integrated software of AP, GL, AR, FA, projects and other sub-ledger modules. It helps the problem of storing data on clouds. It helps in integrating all modules. It is easy to use. It addresses business problems of data computing.
  • Cloud data storage.
  • Computing.
  • User friendly environment.
  • Huge volume of data.
  • Make discounts available on Bank holidays and weekends on running payment process request.
  • Value date field of payment file.
  • Functionality of job-level approver by creator.
Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited by large MNCs. It is less appropriate for small and mid-size entities. There are a few Oracle limitations that can be fit by integration and extension.

It has been a great find for us as the cloud-based program actually beneficial for us. A clear understanding of things with customizable experience mainly are the stand out features. Support, dashboard, and go-to guides need a lot of attention to improve the product. Other than that, I would recommend this to use for handling business effectively.
  • It gives resilience and agility to do business processes to position ourselves for growth.
  • Oracle ERP Cloud is currently leading in the marketplace for providing cloud flare management solutions for midsize large global businesses.
  • Oracle ERP cloud easily get integrate with our system which is great.
  • As it easily get along with all the software that we are already using for handling business operation, it easily get along with them and provides me the complete platform package to handle all the business processes on the go on this platform.
  • The dashboard is not yet intuitive. It is not well designed.
  • Navigation is the big task while using Oracle ERP Cloud as it is very hard to navigate things on such a clunky dashboard.
  • I have to go through different guides and clicking different tabs to actually be on the tool which I need to manage specific tasks which is time taking and makes me less productive.
Oracle ERP Cloud gives me the power to adopt new and updated business models and processes quickly to increase the revenue of organization, quickly reduce the cost, sharpen forecasts and innovate more which is great to have in one platform.

It was used across all department to attend to variety of problems, including buying items for financial accounting.
  • User can use a friendly website to do their work.
  • User can be assured that the system will pickup any user errors.
  • The user can be affirmed that oracle can handle the volume of data query everyday.
  • Well done reporting.
  • The number of layers involved to actually use the program.
  • The number of software need to install to use the information system linked to it.
  • The compatibility issues as you upgrade to later operating systems.
Retail it [is] suited. As for informal sectors and small business it not well suited due to the specialty of support needed.

I consult our customers on implementing Oracle Cloud ERP across departments and organizations. The customers have chosen Oracle Cloud solutions for HCM, Financials, Procurement, and sales functions. It is the most advanced cloud and Saas product that brings a completely new perspective of ERP applications. The built-in dashboards and info lets are very useful for business users. From an IT perspective, it is very simple to manage everything which otherwise a lot of effort in maintaining and running the day-to-day operations.
  • Inbuilt Analytics in every module makes it so simple for the users to get insights about the specific operational function
  • User friendly compared to on-premise applications
  • Light weighted, easy to navigate and maintain
  • Functionally rich product for Financials, HCM, Sales, Procurement etc.

ERP needed for our clients to manage their internal work cycle such as billing, documentation, employees life cycle and more. We were implementing it for our client who is big Telco. They has very complex role and responsibilities to full fill the ERP needs
  • Cloud easy to access and easy to manage
  • ERP become function to implement not heavy code to re write it
  • Complex operations can also stream line
  • Data migration from any other platforms to Oracle Cloud platform. It was hard to do data migration from legacy systems.
I have nothing on less appropriate but it's best fix for complex life cycle

My organization moved to cloud based ERP a few years back. This is used by multiple departments in the organizations. One of the problems solved was that we don't to have our own servers; [the] IT hardware [doesn't] need to [be] [maintained] or [have] [upgraded] hardware. That's a lot of cost saving. Also, being on cloud, it enables mobility and people can access on the go, which is a necessity in today's world.
  • Complete visibility into business operations at various levels of details.
  • Less number of resources required to maintain the ERP solution.
  • Deployment is way faster than the on premise deployment.
  • Need to be made more intuitive. Currently, [it] has a steep learning curve and users need to be extensively trained in the beginning.
  • Integration with third party cloud ERP solutions or other on premise solutions is not straightforward.
  • Pricing is a big concern, as it's very expensive, and eats away [lots] of cost benefits derived by getting rid of owning and maintaining hardware.
Oracle cloud ERP is well suited for organizations who are already using on premise ERP solutions or for an organization who is recently expanding to multiple geographies or growing inorganically by acquiring companies with existing ERP solutions. So the scenarios where integration with existing solutions or complete visibility due to complicated structure, is required [and] are the most suited for deployment of Oracle ERP Cloud.

We are using Oracle Cloud ERP to streamline and automate all our business processes, such as procurement, financial reporting, planning of projects, managing of products life cycle, among others. This software is fully cloud-hosted and it's created with simplicity, great scalability, and a powerful set of tools that anyone would want to take advantage of.
  • It supports a variety of accounting standards, ledgers and currencies
  • It features a full financial management framework to support external reporting and management
  • Flexible contract billing using the Procurement Cloud module
  • Different ways to reach your customer support
  • More Online Training materials for new users to make the onboarding process easier
  • Make voice activation on expense reporting more affordable.
Oracle Cloud ERP produceas consistent, correct, and timely data with extensive support throughout the company. It is great for managing source-to-pay transactions through social collaboration and automation while reducing operations costs at the same time. It's much easier to control and reduce financial risks because of the secured risk control repository feature.

We support Oracle ERP integrations into our business development application system. Oracle ERP cloud provides a complete enterprise suite of products, including risk, procurement, financial, and ERM. Oracle ERP Cloud has the support of many integrations and implementation partner networks. It also has great integrations to others Oracle products like PBCS.
  • Lots of business functions supported.
  • Integrations to many different platforms.
  • Complex and custom functionality.
  • Financial statement reporting.
  • Do not have that great user friendly documentation on integrations.
  • The search functionality needs a lot of improvement.
  • Mobile app needs an overhaul.
  • Users can no longer run SQLs against the cloud database.
There are other ERP systems out there, but Oracle Cloud ERP is great for invoice entry automation and charts for account management. Since it is purely in the cloud, you do not need a team to manage the IT-related things with this platform. If you are looking for a custom ERP with in-house databases, this is not the system.

It is primarily used within a small department within the business. We use it for tracking options, business characterisation and data pipeline management. It makes all the data we need to do this easily accessible which speeds up the process. The fact that it is constantly operating allows us to have all the data we need, at hand quickly, to carry out projects related to financial operating models.
  • Easy UI to use.
  • Data is readily visible and easy to digest.
  • Plan creation tools are excellent and allow for quick builds.
  • Speed up report running.
  • Allow reports to show with large amounts of data points.
  • Make splitting to multiple invoices from a batch payment easier.
It is not well suited to matching cash purchases to customers or when customers pay a lump sum for multiple invoices. It requires this to be split manually and matched to each Individual invoice. Which is quite time consuming! We also have difficulty integrating with some of our other systems or terminals.

Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules like Payables, Receivables, Assets are mainly used for effective management of assets, invoice processing, reconciliation, taxes, credits, billing, and payments among other reporting features. Payables provide automated invoice processing with features like optical character recognition and imaging. Also provides with calculation with current tax rules during invoice processing. It addresses the problem of invoice issues, staying current with tax rules, quick cash reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Payables provides automated invoice processing with features like optical character recognition and imaging.
  • Quick billing with generating invoices and credit memos.
  • Reporting that helps in good desiciosn making with real time status of period close tasks, ledgers reconciliations, journal entries etc.
  • Much [more] efficient way of processing invoices to quickly resolve issues with invoices that can't be recorded automatically.
Scenarios where Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited - The scenarios where Financials are used like Payables, Receivables, Asset Management, Expense Management with efficient real-time reporting of the financial status at any point. Scenarios where Oracle Cloud ERP is less appropriate - The scenarios where the size of the organization is relatively small, the number of financial transactions per day is significantly lower.

It is being used across the United States in the Controllers, Accounting and Reconciliation departments monthly and in some countries for Finance to enter accounting transactions and close the books each quarter. It addresses the general ledger of the organization, the financial close and all accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Accounting
  • Financial Close and Consolidation
  • Reconciliations
  • Security of the General Ledger
  • Reporting is generally good, always room for improvement
  • Speed is OK always like faster
  • Cybersecurity controls are fine, extra security features are better
Oracle Cloud ERP is well suited for setting up and maintaining a General Ledger and all of the other sub-ledgers, G/L and bank account reconciliations, journal entries and accounting movements, having a cloud database to securely maintain the organization's financial data, reporting internally and externally. It is also more than capable of consolidations of legal entries to be prepared for the external auditor.

We migrated our entire on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud ERP. It is the only ERP system used in our company and we love it. It has reduced our operational cost as we don't manage any infrastructure. All the patches and maintenance are handled seamlessly by the Oracle Cloud ERP team, which gives us room to improve and focus on our business rather than focus on mundane IT tasks like backup and maintenance. ERP cloud is heavily used by our accounting, finance, supply chain and procurement teams. Since the system is online there is no need for separate VPN access requests which otherwise would have been the case for on-prem systems putting a heavy reliance on company network connectivity.
  • Oracle ERP cloud is a well integrated system for PPM, supply chain, procurement with AP and AR modules. Setup and maintenance acts as a one stop place for all our setup needs.
  • BPM workflows are pretty cool when configured properly and the notifications are simply awesome and lets us set delegate options during vacation. Approval workflows with alerts on the dashboard and via email helps managers to keep on top of their approval workflows.
  • Oracle ERP cloud is diversified, that makes it more robust and user friendly
  • Exception reports especially on the PPM module do not provide project details. This makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues at the project level
  • OTBI custom role creation is highly cumbersome and is not user friendly. Granting users read only access is heavily implementer dependent rather than making IT self sufficient
  • Some of the ESS jobs that end in error do not provide an option to attach error logs as attachment during notification
  • Expense reporting is cumbersome without voice activation. But voice activation is costly.
Oracle cloud ERP is well suited for organizations that require minimal customization. Cloud experience is a lot different from on-prem experience that the implementers should make sure that they enlighten the clients with what they should expect from the system. If the customers have legacy databases that they used to update for external system interactions, they should find alternatives if they decide to move to cloud. In Saas cloud they don't have access to backend database so they should be prepared to have proper middlewares in place to do the job for them or have custom API scripts ready to do this job otherwise.

We use Oracle Cloud ERP to house all of our accounting operations and transactions. AP/AR/GL/Rev Rec/Tax/Reporting, etc. We opted for Oracle Cloud ERP due to its superior feature set relative to new incumbents. We are confident it will help us scale over the long-term vs having to switch if we grow over X milestone. This product is primarily used by our accounting team, but also in some instances our finance team.
  • Rich and robust feature set.
  • Quick deployment.
  • Great integration with other applications.
  • The user interface could be improved.
  • Would love to further brand with company colors.
  • I wish security was more intuitive.
Oracle Cloud ERP is a great (IMO the best) option for a growing startup to tackle their accounting system needs. It's comforting knowing that you will not need to migrate off of a system by choosing something with a robust feature set.

An integrated Asset Management approach was the desired state for one of the major Oil Companies. This includes integration with Maximo and other key enterprise systems. We had to choose between a couple of our legacy ERP systems. We have had success with the way Oracle natively integrates and manages our Supply Chain function in the organization. So Oracle was a system of choice. Oracle cloud is still new as a concept and has not seen many implementations across the globe, so we were a bit skeptical and time will tell whether the end user experience is smooth or not
  • Single source of truth for Inventory Management and native integration with Maximo
  • Part of the overall cloud strategy and ability to work seamlessly across systems, anywhere any device
  • Oracle as ERP is a mature system so high level of confidence in the system
  • More native connectors to other systems
  • Not many thought leadership or point of views available around key topics
  • Some guidance and white papers on topics such as Inventory Management. More self-assessments from Oracle around system capabilities
I believe if the organization is looking for a seamless integrated asset management across various systems Oracle as a mature ERP tool has a lot to offer

We use this platform in our contracted companies for large manufacturers and factories. Oracle Cloud ERP is a secure platform that is very important for any organization, and the larger the size of the company and the factory, the more vital the existence of ERP becomes. From the job interview of a new staff member in the organization to human resource management, advertising, marketing, tax payment, how to distribute goods and everything you think an organization needs, wherever there are dedicated facilities, a separate module such as accounting, warehousing, clearance of goods according to need can be added to it. Saving time, the order in the system, coordination, and integration between different units of the organization are quite evident despite this platform. All departments of the organization are seamlessly integrated and all are managed and maintained in the cloud platform.
  • Ability to add modules according to the specific needs of the organization
  • The ability to use artificial intelligence and machine learning is very helpful
  • New features are constantly being added to the platform and are constantly evolving
  • The infrastructure used in Oracle ERP is a very fast, powerful and secure cloud.
  • Spend more time on educational topics to make it easier and more meaningful for new users
  • Behind-the-scenes of Platfrom, AI needs to be smarter and faster to be able to serve better
As a senior IT consultant, I am an ERP supporter in the organization. Oracle Cloud ERP is also one of the best options available in the market, which in addition to speed, also has a very high level of safety. Elimination of paperwork, and transparency in all sectors is born with the advent of this platform in the organization, and accounting, warehousing, production and distribution of goods and services, and manpower productivity also increase.

We are using Oracle ERP to manage all our organization expenditures and invoices, budgets and to streamline and automate all HR functions. It has enabled us to realize our financial potential and drive better decision making via a clear view of our operations and finances.
  • Powerful reporting capabilities with visual presentations that helps in communication.
  • Robust budget abilities that helps execute and manage planning.
  • It has comprehensive ERP tools that help our business cut through the ambiguity and drive business to make better decisions.
  • Most of our first-time users have struggled using the software; it is not user-friendly for new beginners.
It is well suited for an organization that needs to gain resilience and agility and at the same time grow. It also suits well organizations that require to decrease costs, sharpen forecasts, and innovate more.

For a couple of my clients/customers, Oracle Cloud ERP is being used as an upgrade or replacement for traditional Oracle EBS ERP on premises, in order to be current with Oracle and have access to the best and most complete expanded ERP functionality available from Oracle. It's used mostly across the whole organization, and BUs, and functions as the enterprise system of record for these companies--financials are deployed and at the core of the system as well.
  • Core financials (accounting hub--AP, AR, GL, and financial consolidations) are the best available in the software industry and an even better solution than its predecessor modules in Oracle EBS ERP
  • Inventory Cloud is very functionally rich
  • Procurement Cloud is very functionally rich
  • Integration to any other cloud or on-premise ERP modules from a different ISV.
  • Direct customizations for integration is not permitted to any Oracle Public Cloud solutions (SaaS or other).
  • Need to rely on APIs alone for connections to other 3rd party packages / legacy solutions in the client's landscape.
While all core modules are very functionally rich, and can support/run any business well, the only concern would be where integration to any other cloud or on-premises ERP modules from a different ISV would be involved, as direct customizations for integration is not permitted to any Oracle Public Cloud solutions (SaaS or other). One would need to rely on APIs alone, and hopefully these would provide connections to other third-party packages/legacy solutions in the client's landscape.

Oracle Cloud ERP is a very reliable tool that is being used by our accounting and procurement related departments. With this tool we are able to quickly achieve optimal management of the data needed to carry out projects related to financial model execution plans.
  • Usability. Oracle Cloud ERP is easy to use and no struggle to issues using it working from home.
  • This tool has a lot of modules that could be adapted to a lot of different functions in our organization.
  • Alerts functionality is very useful.
  • Quite expensive tool.
  • Oracle Support is not the best.
Oracle Cloud ERP allows us to finish all operations with precision and in a timely manner. It is a very safe and versatile system.
